He had little idea of where he was or where he was going or really even where he was supposed to be, but seeing as how that had never stopped Llyr from wandering before, it wasn't about to stop him now.
Which was way, late one afternoon, he could be found meandering around the grounds in front of one of the dormitory buildings. Dressed in his seemingly normal attire of a set of robes draped haphazardly over one shoulder and only partially over his chest, they dragged on the grass as he walked, Llyr pausing in front of one of the trees. He reached up, tugged a leaf off, and examined it curiously before watching it spiral to the ground in front of him, landing an inch or so in front of his bare feet.
Then he continued on, looking as vague as ever.

"Lost?" a scratchy voice inquired from behind the wanderer. Nahm leaned against a tree nearby, watching Llyr with interest.

Llyr blinked at the voice, tilting his head curiously in Nahm's direction.
"Lost," he repeated, as though he'd never heard of the word before. "Yes. Yes I suppose so."

Glowing eyes looked Llyr up and down leisurely before the hooded figure stood up straight and paced over to offer a melodramatic bow. "If you need a little guidance, I'd be happy to provide some assistance," the grue offered, and his grin glinted in the darkness of his hood.

Llyr was nothing if not inclined towards friendliness, and therefore this boil's obviously pleasant greeting made him smile, Llyr drifting towards him, the chains around his chest clinking gently.
"Guidance, yes," he said and slanted a look around the place. "I don't really know where I am, you see," he added, as though he were discussing something as mundane as the weather.

"This is the monster dorms," Nahm said helpfully. "Are you looking for something? Someone? Going anywhere?" He ambled closer, giving Llyr a long, appreciative look. "Like the robes, by the way," he added approvingly.

"Oh," said Llyr, and glanced up at the building, tilting his head slightly. "Well. I am not a monster," he added, mostly unnecessarily. "I'm a demon, so I suppose this is the wrong place for me to be, seeing as how demons and monsters are not the same thing."
He turned his head, his long hair draping over one bare shoulder, and smiled brightly at the boil, clearly pleased. "Thank you," he said graciously. "I do find it easier to move around in than wearing anything more. I don't quite understand the need to always be clothed," he continued, looking thoughtful as he tapped one long finger against his chin.
It took him another moment to respond to the boil's question. "Oh. Well, I suppose not, really," said Llyr. "Looking for friends, of course, one can never have too many friends."

"Well, there's nothing wrong with a visit." Nahm grinned. "Unless you're looking for your room, because if that's what you're looking for it's probably not here, no." "I have to keep clothed when there's light," he said sadly. "Allergy, severe, terrible. You, though, you could go naked if you liked, I don't think anyone would mind." Leer. "I'm a very friendly person," he said helpfully.

"Nobody's room in particular," said Llyr with a shrug. "I like to simply wander and wherever I end up is where I mean to end up. So it seems you and I were meant to find each other," he added with a wide smile, tugging at a strand of his dark hair.
His head tilted to the side. "An allergy to the light? How terribly sad," Llyr said, frowning unhappily. "I myself like the light quite a bit, but I also like the darkness. I suppose it just depends on my mood."
He gave a sage nod. "Perhaps later I will take your advice and not wear any clothing at all, it does seem to get in the way quite a bit."
Llyr plucked at the garments around him and then slanted a vague smile in the boil's direction. "My name is Llyr," he said. "If we're going to be friends, it's good to know one another's names."

"Meant to find each other," Nahm mused. "How ... fateful. Guess I can't argue with that." He shrugged. "Grue thing," he said, not sounding upset about it. "Annoying sometimes, but used to it." His grin peeled wider when Llyr agreed that clothes just got in the way. He hadn't actually expected the beautiful ghost boil to agree to that suggestion, but he wasn't objecting in the least. "Join you if I could." He swept a melodramatic bow. "Nahm," he said. "Nahm deVarr. Good to meet you, Llyr."

"Fate is a curious thing," said Llyr with a sage nod. "One must not ignore those who fate has brought them to."
He watched Nahm's bow with interest and then mimicked the gesture, sweeping low with his long, dark hair brushing along the grass. When he straightened again, it was with a pleased expression, Llyr folding his fingers together against his stomach.
"Tell me, Nahm," he said curiously. "What is it that you do for fun around here? Friends should know the habits of each other."

" Lovely hair you have," Nahm said, drifting closer, the expression dimly visible within his hood going avidly interested. He chuckled. "Mmmmm. Fun? Many things. Many things. I dance, I play games, sometimes I even study. But my favorite thing to do ... is to explore," he purred.

"Thank you," said Llyr pleasantly, running a hand over the dark locks. He slanted a look towards Nahm, his expression one of mingled bemusement and interest. All of the things he'd mentioned sounded quite fascinating but -
"What sort of exploring?" he asked curiously.

"Oh, exploring new places, new experiences, dark caverns, little-used rooms, finding out the kinds of things that new friends like to do." Nahm waved a hand casually, his eyes glinting with wicked humor inside the hood. He couldn't yet tell if his innuendo was going over this boil's head, being ignored, or whether this was a subtle way of playing along. Finding out would be entertaining, at least.

Llyr's fingers had started absently working in his hair, winding the dark locks into some sort of loose braid. A look of interest was on his pale face as he said happily, "So you're an adventurer of sorts! How lovely. I should very much like to come along with you during one of your explorations and see what sort of things you like to do and see."
