Cormick shuffled his homework around, putting one pile of finished s**t in his bag, and the unfinished s**t on his lap. It was quiet, with all the kids showing around other kids.
It wasn't his scene, he could barely handle anyone in this place anyone. Beyond Lottie, who was the only with credentials and prestige to be his friend.
He brought the paper up and squinted at the paper. Stupid homework.

Did Hel know it was Open House? No. Would she care if she did? No. Not that she didn’t like potential and new students, they were great and all…but she didn’t have use of potential or new students right now. She had recruiting to do. The reaper was moving quickly through the courtyard, staring down at her phone at her messages from her boss with a hum until— WHAM. Hel ran right into a student…and well…she probably didn’t bounce off of him too bad…

The run in sent papers flying, in all directions.
And one certain demon boil was laying flat looking up at...boobs.
"Hey twinkletits, do you parade around running over demons in the courtyard or you just dumb enough not to look around?"

Now it was raining papers…oops. Hel dropped her phone down between the depths of her bosom and snatched one of the flying papers out of the air. She looked it over briefly, mildly curious. Ah, okay…homework…damn, it felt good not to have to do that s**t anymore! The reaper was in a good mood, and she was actually thinking about helping collect all the papers that were scattering…until…
A dark brow rose and she looked down at the boil she had unintentionally laid flat. Well…there went any small notion of helping him with his papers! Hrm. He looked kind of familiar too…kind of. Hel smirked. “You were the dumb a** who was standing in my way…and it would not matter if you were a demon or not, I still would have laid you flat regardless.”

Silence, and then something odd happens. The world flips, the colours invert and then turn a strange orange and blue. You hear a noise, an odd echo, familiar voices, all ringing in your ears as something squeezes out from the colour in long spindly strings and forms a strange shape.
"Go back."
Without warning it lunges at you - and then the world breaks open into white.
The thunderous sound of heavy footsteps could be heard all around. Your character finds themselves mounted on a great armored bear. They, themselves, are heavily armored and armed with the weapon of their choice. All around them are other bear-mounted soldiers charging down through the forest. At the other side awaited a wall of infantry with their shields and spears in place, ready to anticipate the clash.
The images continue to assault you the strange other you continues to talk until everything fades to white again and the room is normal.
What just happened? OOC: THE DISTORTION MOB - Distortion mobs will influence the area around you, causing it to stand still. It immediately throws your character into a "mirror" scenario, basically an [ Alternate universe ] where your character was something else. Read the above prompt, and then write out a [ small drabble ] where your character belonged to that alternate universe. If you are in a PRP you may write out your part, and either INCLUDE the other person in your thread(s) as if they were PART of the PRP or both of you can write separate viewpoints. Just a quick response prompt in drabble form is fine before the distortion breaks. Just one post is good! AU PROMPT: You are the bear calvary, charging down into battle. How you want to do this is up to each player as they can just have viewed different AU worlds. After your character experiences it, the illusion breaks and they are back where they are again., as if nothing has happened!

Cormick was about to say something when suddenly he was on a fuzzy bear.
"What the double ******** is this s**t." And his bear was on the move towards Hel on her bear. Who was going to know the other on their a** now.
"FOR THE HOMEWORK."

Hel was ready to verbally go toe to toe with this kid…maybe physically too, she so did like to beat things. She was ready to counter until it went eerily silent, and then everything shifted. “What the—“ Then she, too, was on the back of a grizzly bear and charging into battle. Something about the intense feelings of war, battle, and potential conquest swept over her. Her hand tightened on the reigns of her bear as Cormick’s cry roused her from her own glorious thoughts, and she sneered. “******** YOUR HOMEWORK!” She then raised her spear and roughly shoved her heels onto the side of her bear to have it start barreling in Cormick’s direction— But then she blinked, and it was over. Hel grimaced, looking rather out of place for a moment as she looked around. Back at school. Still raining papers. No bears and no epic battles. She then pointed a finger at Cormick. “Did you do that, you little punk!?”

The bear was gone as soon as it came, leaving the puca demon a little flustered and confused. Like he hit his head or something. Probably the tit bimbo's fault.
"Yes mistress of stupid, I did it. With my magic falling down powers where you shoved me. Its my defense mechanism against that thick skull that hides no brain in it." Cormick sneered at her, looking her up and down like she had just crawled off the pumpkin truck.

Hel’s lips twitched. Oh…oh this kid… She grinned as she continued to hold up the paper she had caught…and then tore it right in two. She then grabbed another piece of paper out of the air, and tore that one as well, staring at Cormick the entire time. “This is my defense mechanism against a little rollurioari.” Her smirk widened as she grabbed another paper out of the air.

His homework. His ******** homework was being ripped into pieces by the stupid...
"You...you crazy b***h!" Cormick got up and started to get papers from the sky, clutching them close to his chest, "You are the rudest, stupidest...CREATURE of this damn school. Obviously your parents raised you in the barn with all the other dumb minipets of the world." Cormick hissed. "I'm surprised someone hasn't dissipated you for the hell of your attitude."

Was this real life? Her boy toy was yelling at her arch enemy? So not only was she eating the most delicious foot long sub right now, this scene played before her was a thing.
The pink haired, pigtailed witch sauntered toward the pair. Obnoxiously she bit into her giant loaded submarine sandwich with large mouthfuls.
"Awwww yeah! Let her have it, sexypants!"

“Tell me something I do not know.” She sneered at the boil, ripping the paper she had in her hands to completely shreds and throwing it into the air. “Yanno, kiddo that is not a good way to think about yourself, because I know you are not talking to me like that.” She stepped closer to the boil, looking to use imposing tactics like distance to rattle him. “There is a school counselor for that, you little whiney mouth—“
Then Hel’s day got better (sarcasm).
Hel stayed close to Cormick, but turned her head towards one of her arch-nemesis.
“Lottie.” Hel hissed. “I did not miss you one bit.”

"Oh did you know that? Because from where I was standing, I assumed you weren't smart enough to tell reality from illusion, my bad. I guess you live in this delusional world where everyone speaks the same language as you do." He turned his body with his papers protectively away from her.
"I'll talk to the barn swine however I want too, I am Rordan Cormick McAllister of the greatest Puca demon clan. You are some lowly reaper who doesn't have a name that I care about. Your worth is that of mud and hay from the barn you were raised."
And then Lottie was cheering him and he had to look TOUGHER because it was embarrassing for him to not be able to stand up to some short broad with too tight of a bustier.
"Good evening Charlotte." Cormick didn't turn his look from Hel, "I didn't realize you were acquainted with the barn swine. A friend of yours?" Sarcasm was heavy in this one.

"Friend? Hah! As if!" She gafawed some, eyeing Hel up and down with a knowing smirk.
"Um, wow. How are you like still here? Aren't you a little too old to go to school?" She grinned viciously, "Seriously. Did you fail a few times? That's soooo super sad. And like... pathetic." She took another generous bite of her food.

It was sad, really how much a run-his-mouth first year could get Hel’s goat. It probably had a lot to do with her need to come out victorious…no matter what the situation was. Honor too…’Honor’. “I am way smarter than you, you little snot nosed brat. A puca? What the ******** is that even? Some brand of mini-pet? Some Podunk back water off shot inbred of a fox fire?” She reached out and grabbed Cormick by one of his ears, yanking his towards her. “My name is Hel you little a** wipe, and I am going to take Halloween by ******** storm.”
Wait. Wait.
“…Charlotte?” Hel whipped her head around to stare back at Lottie. “Charlotte.” She repeated. “Charlotte.” A moment of silence, and then she cracked up. “Charlotte! That is so stupid—and no you little t**t, I graduated months ago! What are you? Still a first year? Ha! Pathetic! I was well into my second with how long you have been around!”
