Gauche
name: Gauche L. Kain
age: 23
history: Gauche has lived most of his life outside of the protective barrier in which many people call home. His parents were taken away from him in the middle of the night while he slept. They had been one of the few families who knew the luxury of their protective walls wouldn't last long and have rationed their food years ago. Sadly, that would be their downfall. They were killed for not sharing even though it was rightfully theirs. In the end, no one would take care of the young Gauche and he was simply and quite literally, kicked out of town. Who could take care of a parentless child? It was best to die fairly quickly than to die by starvation. He made it nonetheless.
He's been injured more than he can count and has the scars to prove it. He's lost partial sight in his left eye but still continues on. He's survived only because he has killed and has killed only so he could survive. These are the words he'd been taught at a young age and the words he will live by until the day he dies. Those people inside didn't know what it was like to be outside. They didn't have to fear for their lives everyday, every hour, every mere second that ticked by. He resides in one of lesser attacked towns that the insiders trade with. His town isn't much of a target since it really does look to be abandoned and the demons would certainly have to search to find a meal. His hate and grudge for the inside people have grown and he has found himself to be jealous sometimes at how unmared and somehow still innocent those people were.
His heart desires death. Death to those who don't deserve to be safe. He hates them. With every last essence of his soul. Which leads him to move back into the barrier now that he's old enough to fend for himself. He kills some of the towns people. People who think their too good. Everyone knows its him but even inside the barrier, there's not much authority anymore. He could kill them all and no one would care.
No one at all.

Echolis
name: Echolis
age: 24
history: Echolis was born in hell and has wondered its depths to enrich himself in the arts of swordsmanship and magic. His mother is a beautiful demon princess, the 46th in line for the throne, his father, a General in the demonic army. He has grown up well bred. But he is unlike any other demon, he'd rather wait till the others have wasted their power and strength then trump them all and become king himself, after they have conquered the human world.
Echolis has reserved his strength and skill's cause he knows, that once those like him have taken over the human world, he can make them fall to their knees since he is so close to finishing his enrichment. His mother has said that she would back him and bow out during the fight, she has dreamed for him to become Demon King since he was born. She has convinced him that he can further his enrichment if he goes to earth and gain more strength.
He spends his days studying and growing stronger. If he isn't, Echolis is learning about his fellow demons and their weak points. Will he someday rule hell as the Demon King?
Time can only tell....but he is always ready to learn and to listen, even if its a humans request.
_____________________________ Xano Star
name: Xano Star
age: 32
history: A very greedy Angel born in Heaven. Xano Star is malicious and ruthless. When he was younger, he took away the sight from Gauche's left eye in the form of a contract to bind the human to him before being sent back to heaven for his crimes. Crimes that are unspeakable. After being locked up for nearly a century in heaven time, was offered a chance to redeem himself by chasing down the demon that managed to break one of the set barriers/seals around a city.
Upon his arrival, he is greeted by a familiar aura that belongs to Gauche. With his lust fully restored, Xano Star set out to find the human that he wants for himself and to kill the demon. Xano Star acts more like a spoiled child who throws tantrums and is easily angered when things don't go his way or he losses something that he considers valuable. This is one of his drawbacks and weaknesses and when he is angered, he will fight, killing anything and everything in his way.
It is still a wonder why God hasn't banned Xano Star from Heaven yet.

GAUCHE (o.o.c : )
He had it. One of the worst books in the world. The book of Binding. He was giddy. He almost didn't know what to do with himself, uncharacteristically happy as he shoved passed all his gloomy neighbors. Today would be his day, he'd end it all just when he couldn't stand it anymore. After so many years, all these people would understand what he went through as a child, without the protection.
He made it to his home, slamming the door shut and not bothering to lock it. He had no family who would visit, and no one would dare bother the weird boy. He shuffled off to the back where his room was, setting out the book on his bed and flipping gently through all the old pages.
"Demon, demon, demon," he muttered under his breath as he squinted to read in the dim lighting, "where could demon possibly be liste- ah ha!" grinning triumphantly, he found the perfect summoning. It was short and sweet. A simple 'request' spell. It'd be up for any demons taking, and really, if they were strong enough, he couldn't care less.
Carefully, reciting the summoning, he closed his eyes and concentrated.
"The barriers, I wish for a demon strong enough to destroy the barriers. I'll pay whatever price comes with such a deal, just let it end."
(O.O.C -inner fan girl screaming and squealing in anticipation.)
He had returned to the castle to visit his Mother. "Hello Mother." He smiled at her as she grinned and hugged him. "I have learned a new sword technique but it broke the blade I have." She gave a pat to his head, having to stand on her tippy toes to do so but she grinned anyways then dashed off.
Echolis sat on the cushioned couch and sighed heavily, the broken blade laying next to its scabbard. It was a useless piece of junk anyways, it couldn't even hold the growing strength in him, what's more, he had broken the master's blade as well. He stared at the remnants of busted metal and looked up when a vary detailed sheath was handed to him. His mothers black and red hair curling at her feet.
"Are you giving this to me?" She nodded. Echolis's mother was a demon who sings powerful enchantments but she had no normal talking voice. "But its a blade of great strength." She shook her head and touched over his heart. "I see, strength for those who knows what great strength is." She smiled again and spread her black and pink wings out behind her as she bowed. "It is still too early for that Mother, wait a little while longer." She took his hand and lead him into the demented garden where vines grew uncontrollably and to a temple in its center. He was pulled along into it. "You are saying that its time for me to go to the human world now?" She smiled. "Okay."
"The barriers, I wish for a demon strong enough to destroy the barriers, I'll pay whatever price comes with such a deal, just let it end." They were words that filled the temple.
Echolis looked about but his Mothers quick kiss on his cheek and a wave from her before he vanished.
He materialized in a small room, a human clutching a book and down on his knees with a look of desperation. "I do not know why I came to earth, summoned instead of passing through one of the gates as I had originally intended. You said you seek strength and I have strength as you wanted. Payment....anything....that's a free invitation to anything I can take." He ran his fingers through the humans long hair, the length reminded him of his Mother's. "You must be that desperate to want destruction and carnage....then." Echolis smiled playfully. "Your soul I will take back with me and until that time, I will not let you die by any mortal wound inflicted on you. As long as you are alive and under my protection, your body will serve me as I help you create this chaos."
Echolis licked over the closed left eyelid and a gleaming orange and black seal appeared. "We are bound."

GAUCHE ((o.o.c : xD Glad to see you like it yum_puddi I like the idea of his mom only singing. Thats pretty cool ))
Really, he didn't know what he expected after he was finished. He didn't expect the thing to look even remotely human and for a few seconds, he almost thought it was. His fingers twitched and he was about to make a grab for the blade always attached to his outer thigh when the demon had come closer and began talking.
He had to say, he certainly felt different. He didn't have that same aura as a human, even a corrupted one. He was just dark and tainted to the bone. He was even a little intimidated by his presence as the fingers ran through his hair, making him pull away slightly, adams apple bobbing.
He wouldn't die? Really he was surprised. He had expected to be killed right after, for whatever sick reason demons had, but why would this one wait for him to die? He almost snorted. Guess they like to play with their food. Caught up with his own thoughts, he didn't see the demon lean closer until he felt something wet flick across his eye.
"E-Ew what--? he leaned back, hand over his damaged eye as he felt an odd tingling sensation, as if someone was writing on his eyelid with a pen.
Confused, he scrambled up and to the mirror hung up in the corner of the room. He didn't often look in the mirror for personal reasons, but whenever he did, it was mostly to sew up a wound he'd somehow acquired during the day. He gazed at the symbol on his eye a little in awe, lips parted.
"Bound..?" he repeated, turning his head slightly to gaze at the demon, "What does that mean?"
Are all humans' this stupid? The boy never did read the fine print in the book first. "A Master and Slave contract. It is a insult to demons to be a slave to a human master, a demon can be controlled if the human has made a proper contract and then we will honor it. That book you have must have told you something." He picked it up and turned the book upside down."Says so right here in the picture but you have to look at it in another direction, you failed to notice so you are my slave instead. You made a wish to "end it," and freely gave yourself in any payment. To wreck carnage and destruction, it will be your soul I will take." He sat on the bed.
Echolis began to grow amused with the humans reactions, shock and confusion and he licked his lips. "My, my, you are looking a little tasty right now, those emotiong you are giving off are delectable. I did leave home before I got to enjoy a meal." Echolis flicked a finger and the human began to float towards him, he removed the dagger he had seen the human reach for earlier. "From what I have sampled a few minutes ago, you taste like destruction and blood." He gave a quick whiff of the hair as he pulled the man on top of him. "You smell like it too." He trailed his tongue along his neck. "I am going to feed till I am full." His fingers began to loosen the others cloths.
*Time Skip*
Echolis ran his fingers along every scar, his love making was pleasurable and he enjoyed the human's cries in glee. "You are a cursed human, you can't die can you? These silver markings reek of the blood you have spilled of your own kind. One would think that you are a demon yourself." Echolis smirked as he held the only eye of the human below him. "Maybe, once I have taken your soul back with me, I can make you my lover for all eternity. The future King of Hell does will need a vassal after all." Echolis felt revived, overflowing with power and he stood, dressing as he went. His seven foot frame barely cleared the ceiling. "I think I am ready to destroy said barrier but you gave a plural tense, so there must be more than one. And in my studies, I have learned that God had placed these barriers to seal off Hell. The only way we can come through is by way of the gates or being summoned, once they have been decimated, then war will pursue."

Slave and Master? Contracts? Perhaps..Perhaps he should have brushed up on demon readings a little bit more before he'd summoned something. There was no point in backing out now, he'd just be killed. That much he did indeed understand. He sighed quietly, watching the demon move to the bed through the mirror. Really though, he supposed it didn't matter, he'd get what he wanted in the end and the demon would get his soul. Fair enough. He found himself simply shrugging, crossing his arms and turning to face the demon.
He had expected to be tortured or whipped or something abusive, but, everything except what was happening right now. Tasty? Was he going to be eaten? He felt like those children in the fairytale he once heard. Something about a witch fattening children up. He shrugged off the thought and turned his attention back to the demon just as he felt himself being dragged over, stumbling forward and over to him, confusion filling his face as his blade was taken and things were suddenly happening to quickly for him to comprehend.
"H-Hey!"
.~.~.~.~.~.
He literally couldn't believe what had happened, happened. He gave the demon above him a half-hearted glare as he caressed the scar he knew littered his body. Probably some new ones too, from what had just transpired.
"I don't believe I'm cursed," he began tiredly, "and I've been near death, so I have no clue of what you speak, demon," he replied, gaze never faltering.
His eyes widened slightly. Lover for all of what? He'd rather the demon just eat him. It didn't seem to quite register that he'd said 'The future King of Hell' either, unfortunately. He watched the man rise and was surprised he hadn't noticed his height at first.
Ignoring him dressing as he talked, Gauche simply nodded.
"There are at least several others I've encountered," he explained, "They're meant to protect us from your kind, which has worked effectively for decades, as far as I am told," he paused to think for a moment. "So you have to destroy the barrier from inside? I have to summon you each time?" he raised a brow.
Echolis just laughed. "Oh contraire, you are cursed to die a natural death. Since you have been near death, death can not take you because you are destined for something else. Death can not mess with a person whose fate and life is intertwined with someone else stronger than them. No matter how much you beg Death to take you, Death can not comply. Our fates....no, your fate is tied with mine cause I am stronger." Echolis licked his thumb and smoothed an eyebrow.
"Decades? No, they have always existed since time began. Hell has documents and records that are so old dating back the seals creation. I have read them all and the testament of them preventing us from getting inside. There is one record however, a demon has noticed a weak spot in the barriers integrity. He tried to break through but God himself zapped him to a crisp. I believe that these fault lines are many and lead to a central weak spot. There would be the best place to break." Echolis stretched his wings out to the side. "Yes, breaking it from the inside would be easier since the protection only come's from the outside. The weak spot would only be weaker from the inside."
He took the chin in his fingers. "There might not be no need to summon me from Hell. I am after all, your Master and God probably didn't think about a Demon having a human slave. The chances of me passing through unharmed other than a few sensual shocks that will be nothing more than a little tickle, are pretty high." He traced a line in the seal on the left eye lid. "This is a link, a bond and the barriers won't be able to tell the difference because we are one." He captured the humans lips in a heavy kiss.

He listened to the demon rant about how he wouldn't die and how they were now intertwined. He wondered if he'd ever stop talking about things that he could, truthfully, could care less about. Though, he was a little intrigued. He wondered if perhaps he was decapitated, would he live? Putting aside that pretty useless thought, he turned his attention back to the demon.
"Hm really?" he sat up, pulling his hair back in a ponytail, "our records only date back a few hundred years. I wonder what happened." he said, mostly to himself.
A weak spot? Interesting. He would have never thought there would be any faults in the making of the dome. It was made by God. Wasn't everything supposed to be perfect? He couldn't help but snicker to himself. He listened to the rest of the story. So there might be other weak spots leading to one major one? He couldn't believe there might be such a thing. He wondered why a demon hadn't investigated this before and just came and slaughtered them all. His gaze flickered over to his wings as they stretched out. At least they could get the weak spot from inside.
He blinked when his chin was taken, looking up at the demon. He just loves the fact that he's someones 'master'. Cocky demon. At least he'd be able to get in the other barriers easily and destroy them. He flinched slightly when he felt the finger tracing the marking on his eye, feeling particularly vulnerable.
He made a noise of protest at the kiss, brows furrowing and lips pressed tightly together. He didn't understand this 'touchy' thing. Why can't he just grant his wish, eat his soul, and then be on with life? He struggled to pull back.
"Why do you keep touching me?" he asked, irritated, when he had enough room to do so.
"I want to touch you. You have the most fragrant smell about you and I like things that smell wonderful." Echolis licked the humans lips. "Things that smell wonderful have the most pleasant taste to it. Having the scent of death is very appealing." Echolis loved his Mothers scent, she carried Death on her and he often returned home to visit her, this human smelled something more, something that made it sweeter. "You might be a target for other Demons as well." Echolis pulled away, not before he gave another saturated kiss, this human was drenched in Death's scent and it was toxic. Echolis had marked his territory.
"Humans probably didn't see demons until a few hundred years ago, it is then the barriers became visible to normal eyes. Only those who have a special ability could see it then. But Demons have always seen it." Echolis decided to keep the secret that removing the barriers would just make it all the more easier to become King. He smiled to himself as he looked the human up and down. "Keep sitting there like that and I will go another round, unless you hurt?" He tossed the confiscated weapon at him. "Take me to the nearest barrier."

Oh that's nice. He smells good. Or perhaps, smell bad? Demons didn't seem to been to keen on flowers and candies, so he must smell like something dangerous or dark. Maybe depressing. He hadn't a clue.
"Death?" he repeated, deadpanned.
He smelled like death? Of all the things possible. He didn't know if he should be proud of that or not, but he simply nodded with a little grin. He could possibly be a target for other demons? Just because of how he smelled? That was extremely odd and he made a face at that, grin disappearing. If he got 'jumped' anymore like how this demon did, he'd just live under a rock for the rest of his days. After the demon had pulled away, he rubbed the wetness off his lips, shooting him a brief glare.
He listened to his short explanation and simply nodded. He looked ultimately horrified at his suggestion, pink dusting his cheeks and barely catching the blade.
"I'm moving, I'm moving, sheesh!" he got up, ignoring the twinge of pain, the sheet wrapped around his waist.
He snatched up his clothing, throwing it on as he went. Take him to the nearest barrier? Wow for someone that seems so smart, he's actually kinda stupid. After he finished dressing, he drug his fingers through his hair to work out the kinks and turned to look over at the taller male.
"What do you mean by the 'closest'? The town we're in right now is under a barrier," he explained, throwing his hair over his shoulder as well as tucking the knife back into its place.
(O.O.C -) He savored the humans reactions all the more and enjoyed the pink on his cheeks. Death itself called demons to seek out and those with Death often harbored inside the walls of protection. "By the way human, I have gleamed your name during our sexual exploit. Gauche. It sounds demonic."
Well sorry for not knowing that he was in the barrier to begin with, he had went from the demented temple at home to being in a small room. Not the most pleasant of place to start off about enriching his studies to grow stronger but he did get a chance to feed and so much more.
"Heh, Then I can use this scrying skill to find the fault lines that lead to the weak spot." He summoned his blade and drew it from its beautiful sheath, he pointed the tip into the air. "Search high and low, near and far for the seem of weak and brittle points." A orange and black trail of smoke flowed forth and then covered the dome. "Fill in the faults, find the center of little gravitation." It blocked out the light and began to squeeze itself into the smallest of cracks till nothing but pulsating veins of orange and black remained. "There is the heart, the weakest of all points." He looked up at the largest spot where the veins ran together the most. "This will be fun for God can not strike down the very humans he vowed to protect in order to get to me. Even God has his limitations."

He twitched a bit at the sound of his name. It was weird, him just suddenly knowing now after their 'adventure'. Did he know anything else now? He pinched the bridge of his nose. As far as he knew, the name wasn't demonic at all. It was simply his name. He shrugged in response, crossing his arms over his chest.
His eyes widened slightly as the weapon was summoned, gaze surveying the whole thing. It was a sight really, and it fit its wielder perfectly. He listened to the demons chants, eyes wide in curiosity as he watched the smoke travel up, and then the skies suddenly darken through the window. He could already hear the confused shouts of the people outside, wondering what was wrong with the sky and what was happening to the dome. He rushed over to the window to peer outside to see for himself.
"...horrifying," he muttered to himself, staring out at the pulsating lines.
He eyed the cluster of them leading to the spot where he assumed it was weakest. He had to agree with the demon, God probably wouldn't attack, seeing as he would kill them all, even though as soon as the barrier crumbled, demons would rush and kill everyone else anyway.
He ducked back inside, turning to look at the demon with half a grin, anticipating what would come next. He was quite obviously happy with the turn of events, even though the main event hadn't even started.
"Echolis, truly a name of defining sound, a horror indeed." He left the house, he began to feed off of the confusion and horror that was flooding the streets and he absorb the excitement from Gauche, growing in strength. "I'll let them grow in fear first." He pressed the tip into the ground and stood there, hands folded over the hilt, his eyes closed as his head was leaning back, relaxed. Feeding, feeding. He could feel his father waiting on the other side of the barrier with a malice grin. "You will have your chance soon, for now, feed on the fear building up. Father." He let patience consume him.
The bond between them was strong and his Father quickly accepted him as he tried countless attempts to kill Echolis. The young Demon truly is meant for the Throne of Hell. Echolis had broken many swords and won every little brawl they had with out a sweat. His Mother's final gift to him was the sword of a true king of hell, only those of pure blood descended from Lucifer himself can wield it. And he can wield it.
The fear turned into despair, the threat of immanent doom descended on the town, they began to accept the death that was coming to them. A smile graced his face. It was time. Echolis spread his wings then took flight. "Destruction and carnage, the bird of fire shall burn all the remains to the ground, the shell shall be crushed like an egg stepped on, the dragon of darkness shall rein forever more." His body burned a intense amber as he ascended rapidly towards the heart. "I will rule!"
He thrust the blade into the center of the heart. Nothing happened at first but a cracking sound began, rippling outwards, the smoke burned red with the ripple as it moved. Once finished, the heart groaned in protest then exploded upwards, the barrier shattered, the shards evaporating. A awesome display of raw power equivalent of God himself.
"Now, Father but do not touch the human with my seal on his left eye, he is the key to fully destroy the lock on Hell." He smiled as Hell's army, lead by his Father General charged into the defenseless town.

Echolis? Was that his name? He blinked, watching the demon walk from his home confidently. He went to the door, gazing. For some reason, he knew he probably shouldn't step out unless he was called. He snorted. Wow he must really be falling for this 'slave' thing if he was sitting around waited to be summoned by his 'master'. He almost gagged but stayed put.
He had no clue what was going on, but it seemed panic had settled and now people were crying and begging to be spared, despairing. Hm. They caught on pretty quickly, for being so stupid all the time. Suddenly, like many others, he was knocked off his feet by the sudden change of atmosphere as the dome exploded into nothingness.
"Holy hell," he muttered under his breath, staring up at the sky and almost laughed at how contradicting both those words were in a sentence.
People were screaming now, in terror and pain as the army was led on through the town. Their agonizing screams echoing as they ran, trying to escape to their homes as if they could be protected. Some were praying, holding crosses and others were simply curled up waiting to be slaughtered. It was interesting though, to see how all these people reacted to their doom. He watched almost like a curious child as the proceedings went on in front of his very eyes.
Echolis watched homes burn. "Leave the church alone, even God must have what little people has survived with its walls. Find those who are willing to sell their souls for servitude to survive. The children, take them home to become playmates with yours. Young women, see if they want to be care givers and raise the new born in Hell." He wanted to see how far the humans can fall from Gods grace.
Echolis hovers in the air for a while, counting the rising numbers of grace fallen humans. Satisfied. He descends and walk's the streets, the army members saluting him with a staggered bow. This town has fallen in such a wonderful and glorious display. His Father guarded the house that Gauche was in, their eyes meet and they smiled. "Good to see you Father."
"Yes, you too. I must admit, the way you took out the barrier, a marvelous feet." He drew his blade but was quickly disarmed. "I never grow tired of this game of trying to assassinate you."
"It has been a past time since I was born. Do not kill all of the people, leave a few stragglers so they can hurry to other barrier cities to spread what has happened here. I will see you again at the next city but hold back. I want them to think that they aren't going to get attacked once I have gotten rid of the egg shell." There was a staggered bow as his Father left. Echolis entered the house, he sent his sword back to its holding dimension.
"Your choice of words back there are quite amusing." His hands straightened the wind blown, tossed hair on Gauche. "This town has feed me well and made me stronger for the next to fall. You liked the end of one barrier, wait till the ones have fallen after." Echolis went to give Gauche a kiss but pulled away at the last second. The human's soul was his after all, he wanted to build the others frustrations just a little. "It is best to remove ourselves from this town, God will be coming to gather what is left of His followers."
