The Nondwi are enormous, delicate creatures that will use their dusting to blind their opponents. They tend to be the flee, not fight kind of critter. The Nondwi are enormous, delicate creatures that come in pastel shades. They possess two-four large, rounded wings with sparse decoration. The wings are attached to slender, furry bodies that are often white or a lighter, pastel shade. They live beneath the canopy, in the darkness, and glow, much like the various fungi that litter the forest floor. They leave small traces of dust wherever they land, which glows briefly before fading into a substance resembling ash.

Some of the creatures she had seen that people kept as pets were just silly. When the animals couldn't even learn basic commands what was the point in even having them? The Spitorog were as dumb as a rock, and yet she had heard plenty of people ask her if she had any tame ones. Tame Spitorogs? Might as well just go and get a wild one from the forest, they acted exactly the same. You didn't even have to catch them, for the most part they would just follow you home. It had happened more than once to her and every time she killed the creature. Really it was merciful, after all that kind of life wasn't really even life was it? Lasarra shook her head. No she would never get one of those to tame, she wouldn't waste her time and efforts. Plus she wasn't sure she could even really sell them. It was mostly for children that parents wanted them. They did make good first pets, that she would admit. Nondwa were another creature she didn't think she would have. She would have to make a special cage for them also, after all they all would fly away if left free. They were smarter than Spitorogs, but in her mind Spitorogs made the better pets. At least they stayed put, but than again they didn't move very fast so it wasn't like they would go far if they did move.

"Come on Izsha, let's go see what we can find." Lasarra called as she closed the pen behind her. No, the animals she kept were all smart and knew basic commands such as stay. She hadn't had a single one run away from her, or their own, since she started training them. No she was good at her job, and that was something she took pride in. Izsha padded over to her side and the two headed towards the forest. They didn't go every day, but they went often enough that it was normal for her to leave for hours at a time. She was sure that one day she would find an animal that she had never seen before, such as the time she found the mystical creature and returned it to it's owners. Every day could warrant a surprise, and although she hadn't had any in a while she wasn't about to give up.

As she walked into the forest both her and Izsha's ears were perked, trying to hear any sign of life other than their own. Footsteps, the flutter of wings, anything. Lasarra was dying to get a sprite of her own, so that was always the main focus of these little escapades. With a sprite to herself Lasarra was sure that people would look at her even more as a beast tamer, after all the little creatures rarely bounded with humans of any kind. To have one that bonded with her, it would mean that she was even better with animals than many.

They were only a little ways into the forest when Izsha stopped moving all of a sudden. Lasarra stopped soon after and moved her head to point towards where Izsha was looking. At first she didn't see anything, but than she noticed the pastel colors on the tree and rolled her eyes. Of course she wouldn't find a useful creature, but instead a group of Nondwi. One of the worlds most useless animals. Still, maybe she could try to catch a few of them. She had a family with three little girls who wanted them, if she could just catch them she could sell them to the family and be rid of the animals.

She made a circling sign with her hand and Izsha was off. She would get behind the Nondwi and scare them towards Lasarra. As she waited she took the net out of her bad. She hadn't planned on catching multiple creatures, so the net wasn't as big as she would have wished, but it was big enough to get at least three of them and that would be enough. She got into position. It was only a few seconds after that Izsha barked and the five Nondwi flew towards Lasarra. She threw the net and surprisingly got a few in them in the net. The weights brought the net, and the Nondwi, to the ground. The net was big enough that they wouldn't be uncomfortable, which also meant that they were moving around and kicking up dust. Within a few seconds the whole place was a dust storm, and Lasarra was covering her eyes while Izsha barked up a storm of her own. She hadn't been in one of these before, and realized that the whole thing wasn't worth it. She wouldn't make much from the family, and she really shouldn't sell a creature that couldn't really be tamed. It could possibly tarnish her name, and she didn't want that.

"Izsha kill!" she screamed as she kept her eyes covered from the dust that was everywhere. Within a few moments there was less movement, and than even less after. Lasarra moved her hand out of the way of her eyes and started down at the four dead Nondwi. She smiled proudly. "Good girl." she said as she walked over to Izsha and scratched behind the creatures ear. She got the meat from the creatures and than packed it away in her bag with the net. Shaking her head she decided that she would never, ever, try to get one of those creatures again. It was clear that they were nothing but trouble.

"Come on, let's go home. We aren't finding anything out here today." she clicked her tongue and started to walking back towards her home. This wasn't the day for her to find anything it seemed, maybe she would go out later on in the day. Maybe sprites came out more at night.
