Iroia strode through the camp well rested and more then ready for a hearty brawl before breakfast. She took just enough time to admire the crisp, fresh morning air before stomping through camp fishing for a good fight. It was going to be a good day. In her travels she caught sight of a back she would never forget. It had brought her so much delight not long ago when its owner had introduced himself with a lovely sharp blade. Delighted she approached stopping a good distance away.

"Honestly I want another round at those Obans, they started it, its only right we finish it."

She waited on the balls of her feet, expecting the flying weapons. Potentially she could have startled him and keeping an open mind around weapon wielders was a good thing to have.

Ruelash was practicing fighting, getting himself into shape so that he could take down those Obans and those capra-farts he'd called... whatever he'd thought of those men as. He refused to end up unconcious on the field of battle again. He refused.

To toughen himself up, he was fighting a practice dummy hand-to hand, his swords sheathed. It hurt his knuckles, and his arms, but it was a good pain. He was so focused on his practicing and his rage that he didn't know she was behind him until she announced herself. He gave the practice dummy another angry punch, knocking it back briefly in his wrath before it swayed back into place, a few of its straws knocked out of place. He rubbed his knuckles, turning to Iroia.

Oh. Hey. It was that sword prentice from before. He didn't hate her. Neat.

"Yeah." he said, stretching his arm. He was bare-torsoed, his jacket and shirt nearby, not useful in the hot Jahuar weather. He at least was wearing pants, an improvement from his former Tale gear. "I wanna tear 'em to shreds. Bare handed, with a blade, it don't matter." he said, his voice cool but bloothirstily vicious (and perhaps a little - no, definitely very exited at the prospect) as he gave her a nod of greeting. He turned back to the practice dummy, punching it again, harder now.

"How'd you do?" he asked, shaking out his fists. When they'd last met, they been off to battle. "How many'd you kill?"

"Three for sure, many injured but I didn't have time to count when they croaked, one sissy b*****d ran from me when I giggled at him...that is their courage, run from giggles." She shook her head disgusted. She had been a little crazy looking at the time but she didn't know that.

"And I helped to incapacitate one of the big beasts, now that was an worthy opponent with all those flea-like men up top. Riding is not for me, just me my swords and the fury of battle. That way you know exactly where you stand and not depending on transport that can make its own decisions if it should chose. Fighting beside you, not so bad. Besides, I'm to hyper beasts don't like my vibes or some tripe like that."

Ruelash whistled, impressed. "Ya took one of 'em down? That what you said?" he looked at her, his face splitting in a wild grin.

"I wanted to get up on them beasts and cut those flea's up. Woulda been fun..." he grinned, imagining, "Stabbing people as they try t' control their giant beast 'o death?" he giggled a little, "a real challenge."

His grin grew very wide. "Courage don't matter. If they run, ya chase em. More fun that way." he stretched.

"Anyway, I lost count too when I saw them rider people. They were more interestin' prey." he smirked, "Still got a few though." he walked over to his coat and picked out a gruesome trophy. "'ere." he tossed it over. it was an Oban finger. "Direk had that in 'er mouth when I brushed 'er down." his grin was very sharp now. "She did a good job. Was covered with blood, and it waren't her own" He was very proud of his aldabuk.

"Helped take one of them down yes,did you hear the thump? He looked like a ruddy pincushion he did. And your right the riders would have been a real prize as long as they stayed up there, on the ground no matter the training they are just more fish in a monotonous bloody river." She smiled happily at his giggle, see she wasn't the only one who did so.

"True, I just loose all respect for those who run, they become prey, no longer predators."

Iroia caught it out of the air and raised an eyebrow, "Clever girl! Got his bow finger I think!" She measured it to her own.. "Hmmm." Not sure if she should be revolted by it or not, but she had seen alot worse this battle, done a lot worse, so she shrugged any of it off. "She is truly magnificent." She added, any creature that could target a helpful advantage, (like a bow finger), accident or not was an asset. She handed his prize back to him and produced a carrot. "For your lady, if she pleases." Iroia grinned.

"She'll please when she pleases." his Aldabuck was a real spitfire. Woe betide any predator that tried her. He put the carrot - and the finger - back with his coat and stuff.

"Predator, prey, just as fun either way." he made a sound that was uncannily like a cackle. "Can't wait for the next fight." he cricked his neck and turned to her fully, all his attention on her now. "Meantime though." he visibly loosened his swords in their sheaths, his smile was vicious and inviting, "Wanna fight?" He needed a good row to get bis blood boiling and wash the bitter taste of betrayal from his mouth. Also he just liked fighting.

"Always, you got a spare weapon I can use? The ones for the war were just borrowed and I had to give them back..I miss them already." She started limbering up and moving around quickly warming up muscles that would be needed very soon. She felt bad about not having a weapon, but she was technically still a prentice, something she hoped would change soon.

"I can't wait to get my own blades and start the bonding process, my parents say one that is truly bonded after hours of practice fight much better then one who's weapon is unfamiliar."

Ruelash could understand missing a weapon. He nudged his swords back into their sheathes. "Well, ya wanna fight hand to hand? Thats the best way to fight." He wasn't giving her one of his blades. They were his blades. You don't give someone else your weapons. Because otherwise, it'd bite you. "Ye know, I killed a bandit with m' bare hands once." well, he'd had a sharp rock and a dagger, but he preferred his version, "And I beat up three alkidikes in the big tournament with a lil' dagger." he laughed, "That was real fun..." he clenched and unclenched his fist, smirking, "Real fun."

"Oh yes, I haven't had as much practice with that so that would probably be best," she definitely understood his reluctance and was ever so grateful that he didn't call her out on it.

She dropped into a general fighting stance and started to circle him. This guy was so great, no others liked to tussle like they did. It was like a nice vacation from normal, boring life with simple boring people who never seemed to have fun, and this was fun. She flashed him a feral smile, with all the glee she felt embedded within. She had mostly trained with weapons but she did love a good wrestle.

"Any rules? I occasionally bite."

Ruelash flashed her his own feral, gleeful smile, settling into a tense, wiry stance. Rules? he was so glad she'd asked."Ain't none." he said, before he pounced, hands open, ready to grapple her down to the ground. He hated rules. They made fights boring. Sure, he had his own personal rule of not hitting a lady first, but Iroia was not a lady, and aside from that, anything went. But if she was biting, so was he.

She squealed in delight as he came at her and bent her body sideways hopefully avoiding most of his attack as she aimed a swift blow at his ribs. Her rear attempting to sidle after her. This was so..odd without a weapon..like eccentric dancing, primal and darn near one of the funnest things ever. She was not responsible for any escaped giggled after this, not one little bit.

Ruelash grunted as the blow glanced off his ribs. He darted to the side, aiming an uppercut at her gut. He could feel the heat from her body - he could feel his own heat reflecting off her body. This was close, intimate, and primal in a way he could understand. This was his language. He kicked out, swiping at her legs. Come on, girl, keep speaking to him.

She tilted her body to the side in a desperate twist, his uppercut still got her, darn he was fast! He thwaked one of her legs and she went down but popped back up again as soon as she could manage with a guard up, she stepped into him and jabbed him on the same side she had tagged earlier. Light fast blows but they would add up. She smiled manically. Her body was warming up and starting to become more limber which was all to the good cause she had already collected a few blows herself. Endure, Grin, Strike.

He took the hit, wincing as old, still healing wounds and the new bruise of moments ago met the force of her blow. But this was what he lived for, that pain. He wanted her to keep it coming.

He was getting into the fight, feeling his limbs move, not as limbs, but as him, himself translated into movement and force. Not just arms, legs, and hands - not mere parts of his body- but parts of his soul.

He blocked one of her other blows with an elbow, leaving his stomach somewhat open as he came in hard, trying to grab her and twist her into a choke hold. His grin and hers could have been cut from the same cloth - bright, shiny, and gleeful.
