              Tribe Rules:
xxx The tribe is there to help others, not to abuse our power and harm others. If anyone harms a patient or tribe-member than they shall be stripped of all their power and their lantern and thrown into the fog. The 'Deity will ensure they arrive in the outside world and never again step foot back into the tribe-lands.
xxx Only the Elder can speak to the 'Deity, however a fox may pray.
xxx Any member who decides to mate with an outsider must speak to the Elder. Mating outside is extremely rare, and under no circumstances can the outsider come onto the tribe-lands unless they need guidance. Often, the Elder will deny outside relationships.
xxx Foxes born into the tribe cannot leave, unless wishing to be banished. They must understand that they can never return to visit their family, however.
xxx Kits may never leave the village without an adult. Anyone without a lantern must stay within the village at all times!
xxx Libitana's word is law. She will enforce it, without fail. While the tribe is often full of music and life she is not afraid to put her paw down and punish those who break the rules.

              Personal Rules:
xxx Follow the shop rules and Gaia ToS.
xxx No fighting amongst one another out of character within the tribe forum. If you have a problem with one another take it to PM or some other outside form of communication. I don't want drama bringing this tribe down.
xxx Be at least semi-literate and avoid one-liners. Please. It helps all of us out in the long-run.
              xxx No godmoding.
xxx When talking OOC (out of character), please use some form of indicator.

              About:
xxx The Luminarium Tribe is known for being a strange and elusive group of foxes. Living deep in a swamp covered with fog that is impossible to see through by an outsider, the sound of singing can usually be heard at night coming from the village they've claimed.

xxx The tribe is known for being a guiding light to the lost. Their purpose is to help the broken pick themselves back up and discover themselves. Those who have lost their being will find no problem walking into the fog and stumbling upon the village. Outsiders who do not need guidance will only return to the entrance to the swamp when they step into the fog, turned around by the 'Deity of the tribe. The tribe does not ask for payment for their therapy.

xxx Based around therapy, the tribe focuses on the mental wounds and scars that need mending. Those who are depressed, suicidal, confused about themselves or life itself, or generally lost are brought to the tribe for therapy. The patient will be assigned a fox who is specialized in their issue and the patient is given a therapy session. They stay within the village for as long as they wish, or can leave and return for more sessions. When the fox is cured of their issue they are given a celebratory feast and when they leave the tribe they can never return, unless the Elder has requested them to join the tribes ranks.

xxx Those who have a natural gift of discovering the pain of others and soothing them can also find themselves easily directed to the village and given a home. Those who wish ill-will upon the tribe, a patient, or have no place being there can never reach the village, no matter how much they ever wish to. Foxes who have betrayed the tribe are banished and can never return. While members of the tribe can leave the village and return back to it at any time, if a fox is banished or a fox chooses to permanently remove themselves from the tribe they can never return. Protected by their 'Deity who cast the fog in the first place, the tribe cannot be discovered by unwelcoming eyes.

xxx While the tribe lives within a dark swamp, they are a lively bunch. Lanterns have been strung up in the trees around the village, discovered back when the village was found. Kept lit at all times, light dances across the village. Fireflies collect around the water under the village, which is suspended above the ground. Songs can be heard being played during night as dinner is served and the tribe gathers together, merrily singing and dancing. They even have a slight mischievous streak, playing pranks on one another time to time and even leaving the swamp to play with outsiders. However, one thing is certain; they take their job extremely seriously. Others mental health matters to them, and if an outsider or even a tribe-member needs therapy or assistance they'll always lend a hand.

xxx The Elder, however, is very protective of the tribe and her members. Her word is absolute, and the tribe knows she is not afraid to put her foot down and enforce the rules. Inner-violence is never tolerated and the Elder will show no mercy, stripping away the offenders powers and tossing them out of the tribe for the good. Meant to be a safe-zone, the Elder keeps an ear out and always seems to know just a little about everything happening in the tribe, ready to step in if need be.

xxx An official tribe-member should always carry their personal lantern with them, which reflects they belong to the tribe. All lanterns that belong to a fox stay permanently lit due to the 'Deity. The lanterns make it possible to navigate through the swamp completely safely. Members are expected to always keep their lanterns, often sent back home if the Elder catches them without their lantern.

xxx Kits are never permitted to leave the village. Ever. The fog is far too dangerous for a child who doesn't carry a lantern, as children are not given their own lanterns until they are adults and have roles. However, they can play in the village. Given small chores such as keeping the village clean and lighting the lanterns they can reach, children are mostly allowed to just play and be kids. At a young age they are eyed and the adults (usually the Carers) judge what they are best at giving therapy for. Those without any special skill will become members instead. Foxes are never kicked out unless they've harmed the tribe, even if they do not inherently possess a skill.

xxx The tribe treats one another as a huge family. They eat dinners together as a group. Children are taken care of by all. They're extremely supportive of one another and willing to lend a hand no matter what. Being very affectionate and a tightly knit group only causes more concern for the Elder, who must keep an eye out to n** any problems in the bud to preserve the friendly atmosphere.

xxx Basically, the tribe is focused around providing therapy and stability to those who need it. Hidden from those not meant to approach their lands, they are a lively and friendly bunch who are ruled by a protective and strong Elder.

              Deity:
              xxx Hyperion, 'Deity of Guidance

xxx The tribe worships Hyperion, the Modeity of Guidance. Hyperion guards his tribes lands with a fog that turns those around who do not have business with the tribe. Blessing their lanterns and giving the foxes personal lanterns the ability to always stay lit, he is a very vigilant 'Deity and always keeping an eye on the tribe. The tribe leaves out a meal for him every night.

xxx While very serious, he does enjoy when the tribe-members dance. Leaving a circle of toadstools once in awhile, when the tribe finds one they often dance within it and have a feast, believing it is the footprint of their 'Deity and he had visited recently. Really, he only does it for fun, but he isn't about to correct the tribe he protects so fiercely. While the Elder and Hyperion do not communicate much, he will quickly act when the Elder banishes a fox and blow out the light of their lantern and turning the fog against them.

              All Year Events:
xxx Dinner: While this is just an everyday occurrence, the tribe takes it seriously. At night, everyone eats together. Meals are made from the local herbs, mushrooms, and other yummy assortments. Song and dance play throughout the night as they cheerfully celebrate being a family.
xxx Lanterns Night: When a kit become an adult they are given their own lantern with its own color. Given their roles, this is the first night they can leave the village.
xxx Pitch Black Night: The death of a member is tragic. It will be the only night all the village lanterns are turned off and the members are not permitted to leave the village. It is a night of mourning. Their lantern is hung up on the Remembrance Tree the next morning.

              Spring Holidays:
xxx April Fools: Such a fun day! The tribe tricks one another, avoiding malicious tricks. The Elder also tries to get in on the games, despite how serious-natured she is. Usually, she fails....

              Summer Holidays:
xxx Blessings Day: Primarily meant for the Elder, the Elder wanders off to pray to the 'Deity. She also must obtain the glowing mushroom only meant to be eaten by the Elder upon this day, which means she has received the blessing of the 'Deity once more.

              Fall Holidays:
xxx Scares Day: The village is decorated with pumpkins found outside of the swamp and sweets. Decorating their bodies, the foxes dance and play tricks, giving sweets to the children and patients who reside within the tribe at the moment.

              Winter Holidays:
xxx Christmas: A wonderful holiday where the foxes exchange presents. Patients are gifted home-made presents by their therapist, and the dinner of the night is especially delicious.
xxx New Years: The tribe gathers on New Years night and watches the sky, wishing upon the stars for a good year and praying to the 'Deity. The Elder gives a speech as the sun rises, and a breakfast is shared.
xxx Love Day: A day that celebrates relationship, whether romantic or platonic. Gifts are given that symbolize one another's relationship and the tribe focuses on making those special to them know their feelings.

              Past:
xxx Long ago there lived a young pixie and her family. Born into a broken family, the young pixie named Libitana watched as her father cheated on her mother constantly and her mother fell into despair. Her siblings became depressed in no time as their father showed no love for them, and Libitana found she was the only one willing to try and stand up to her father. Eventually growing into a woman, Libitana tried to coax her mother into leaving her father and finally find a man worth her love, but her mother was far too gone. One of her siblings took his anger out on his lovers, and the other actually responded well to Libitana's words and left home. While happy to have helped one member of her family, Libitana watched her family crumble apart. Realizing she could not help in her current state, she took off to learn how to repair the family she had been born into.

xxx During her travels she stumbled upon an older woman who had perfected the art of therapy. First a patient, Libitana sighed a breath of relief when the woman brought to light her personal issues and helped her overcome them, instilling a sense of confidence as Libitana began to realize her self-worth. Staying with the woman for a few years to learn the art of therapy, she quickly grew into a strong, protective, and serious woman who could identify her own problems and others and offer a resolution to them. Returning home after five long years, she managed to convince her mother to leave after. Her abusive sibling and father, however, were far gone and did not respond to her treatment, instead fleeing after displaying hostility to her voice of reason.

xxx Libitana decided right then and there that others needed to be helped. Foxes needed to learn this ability and be able to extend a hand and help others discover themselves and their inner power. There needed to be more foxes who could be the guide to those lost and offer them the ability to take hold of their life again. So, she set out to start a tribe.

xxx The second she stepped upon the swamp lands, which was clear at the time, a surge of electricity ran through her. She had found home. Hyperion stirred from his slumber, accepting the woman after realizing not only her potential but her drive. Pleased, he helped lead the fox to the abandoned human village by leaving out glowing mushrooms. Once she discovered the village, the 'Deity shrouded the swamp with a thick, protective fog and left out one single lantern for the woman. That night she dreamt of music and merry voices. She would start her tribe here.

              Present:
xxx Libitana did not expect to bump into a few foxes so soon, but it seemed the fog was allowing certain foxes in. Good foxes. Foxes she knew she'd grow to love and cherish. Despite her quiet and serious nature it seemed the woman took well to becoming an Elder, beginning her journey with her head raised high.

              The Swamp:
xxx General Swamp: The swamp is covered in water, greenery, and beautiful plants. Fireflies always gather around the waters. However, a thick fog gathers in the swamp, preventing outsiders from coming in unless they need guidance or can become a guide.
xxx Remembrance Tree: The tree where fallen members lanterns are placed. They never go out, despite having lost their owners.
xxx Watering Hole: The water here is oddly always clean, maybe because of the 'Deity or just pure luck. The tribe bathes and drinks here.

              Within Village:
xxx The Village: Abandoned by humans long ago, the tribe now resides here. Protected, the village is a safe place for everyone. Their are lanterns that are kept lit constantly. The village has been modified a pit to make it more fox-friendly. Doors open by pulling a rope. There are bridges both human-made and fox-made throughout the village to cross the river going through the village. There are many houses, more than the picture shows. Patients can live with their therapist or in the guest houses.

              Lanterns:
xxx Unlike most tribes, the Luminarium Tribe give lanterns to their members. Unable to be turned off unless banished thanks to the 'Deity, the lanterns help foxes pad through the fog. Foxes must always keep their lanterns on them, and if a fox loses one the members will go out and collect it and the fox will be unable to leave the tribe for a week.

xxx The metal and glow can be any color you wish. Generally, they hang from the fox, either mouth or tail. They're a bit too big to be jewelry or go around the neck. Children are too small to have them, but when they're adults they are immediately given a lantern that seem to just appear overnight.
