Chaos held heavy tonight, and she had learned that this sort of power, this sort of chill was sent out by the powerful leaders. General-Kings of Negaverse, Princesses of the Dark mirrors (though she had never met one, her brief meetings with the court had led her to believe they had one.)
She almost didn't want to patrol, what if it wasn't Zinkenite? She could at least trust him, and knew he wouldn't harm her. Or she believed he wouldn't.
But with the chaos energy so high, Youma's were bound to be out and she had a duty to the civilians at least. Donning her form of Mintaka, the senshi slipped from the window of her home, crawling through the rooftops until she was a safe distance away.
Then she started to search the city from the height she was at, arms resting across her chest. She tried to lighten the terrible fear. Because hey, if it was Zink, maybe she could tell him interesting stories of the faded memories she was having.
To calm herself, she recited the rules of a lady.
"Rule number one: A lady is always polite. Proper manners are the etiquette of life. The one who's tongue speaks respectful sweetness is the one that attracts the flies. The one who is improper, who spews vinegar only pushes those away-"

Remarque was not so far away that he was oblivious to the new aura in the area, though he was not close enough to know who she was. A white moon senshi, basic. He knew a handful of senshi that fit that description. He was not in any particular rush that evening; he didn't have much in the way of work that needed to be done. For a time, Mirrorspace had become a fascination, though he was reluctant to spend too much time in there.
There were too many things he didn't understand—too many things that didn't make sense.
Too many wraiths.
Not that they were intimidating or anything; he just got tired of seeing them slink out of the corner of his eyes. Got tired of the endless labyrinth Mirrorspace provided, sometimes opening up new rooms, sometimes closing off old ones. He had been trying to explore the place for months and hadn't made any progress.
Thankfully, there were plenty of mirrors decorating the long, pale hallways, so when he was exhausted of patience, he could just slip into one of them and unwind back in Destiny City.
The solitude of Mirrorspace was suffocating; he desired company, good or bad, so much that he never bothered to return to his Eternal form. Giving off that much energy, he knew he was a beacon, but he didn't care: he wanted to be social.
Which meant that he was even more interested in this White Moon Senshi in the area.
It didn't take long for him to find her; he didn't even need to utilize the mirrors in the area for a shortcut. It took less than a minute to spot her, though it took him a few extra seconds to realize she was not talking to anyone else, just herself. Something about manners?
"You know," he said, moving out of the darkness. "It is interesting to hear a White Moon Senshi speak of manners. Most of them disregard them completely. Am I to understand then, that you are unlike the rest of the heathens that pollute your Court?"

Mintaka startled as the chaos force slammed right into her, and much like the small shudders and goosebumps with Zinkenite, she felt them now. But the voice didn't match the general-kings, so she turned slowly.
"It depends, I suppose." She met the chaos force eyes and was surprised that he seemed...Well if she was to say, if not Negaverse, then he was Dark mirror court. Chariklo's court.
"I don't particulary like fighting, I'm not the greatest at it, so why pursue it?" She laced her hands together. "And I'm aspiring to be a more nobler lady. You're a dark Mirror court...But much stronger then Chariklo."
Her gaze wandered over him and then flustered. "Oh...Excuse me, So rude, I'm just sitting here staring at you like that. Uhm. My name is Mintaka, a Senshi of Origami."

Remarque watched her for only a second before a thin smile appeared on his face. He couldn't help but be a bit pleased at how much of an impact his presence alone had caused, and Mintaka certainly did not disappoint.
Of course, she already seemed very different from his usual run-ins, and if he'd been a gentler soul, he might have apologized for startling her.
"It is a pleasure, Mintaka. I am Remarque," he paused, extending a hand. "Of the Dark Mirror Court. Dark Mirror Senshi of Puppetry. You've met Chariklo?"
He had had very limited experience with the Dark Mirror Senshi of Seagulls; they travelled in very different circles. The first—and last—time he'd seen her was during the Ambush a while back. He made a mental note to see what she was up to, though for now he was far more interested in Mintaka.
"I hope she made a good impression for the Court?"

"Puppetry you say?" She studied Remarque with a new sort of wariness, sure he was used to people he could string along. And she felt terrible for even thinking of a terrible pun to go with it.
"I have!" Her face warmed considerably. "And don't worry! She uh...She has a quite a temper but we've come to a benefical accordance. I actually quite enjoy what she taught me." She sniffed a bit, "Though she does leave some manners to be worked on." It wasn't really like a insult to Chariklo, because Mintaka's standards on mannerisms were RIDICULOUS.
She laced her hands together again, smiling at him. Obviously at ease now that it didn't seem like he was going on the offensive. Not that she could match him anyways. "Your aura is very strong, almost overwhelmingly so for me." She commented easily enough. "Are you one of the leaders of the Dark Mirror Court?"Kyuseisha no Hikari I am so sorry this took so long QQ

Remarque offered another smile, seeming impressed with the girl. "You could say that, yes. Though I don't like to brag."
Well. Of course he did.
"I'll have to talk to Chariklo about those manners. First impressions are very important. I apologize about the aura, though. If you'd like, I could lessen it some?" he prompted; Remarque wasn't necessarily all that fond of running around in this form and understood that like this, his energy signature was a bit too powerful to stay in for long—unless he wanted someone to try and pick a fight with him. "I'd hate to scare you away because of an aura. I know it can be a bit intimidating, but I hope I'm not chasing you away. I am rather interested in talking. Despite the White Moon's disdain for my Court, I find that I rather enjoy the conversations I've had with senshi such as yourself."

"Ah, Such gentlemen among those of the royalty. If not a princess, then you must be a prince of the dark mirror court." She didn't know why the knowledge was there, but it seemed if there was princesses, then there would also be princes. "Being modest about your power that is." She smiled back, almost teasing. "It seems you and Zinkenite share that modesty. That is...nice to know." Chaos seemed to be filled with people who were polite.
"Well..." Mintaka shuffled, "To be fair to Chariklo, she had been going through something caused by another white court senshi. Her reasoning, though brutish was not unsound." Mintaka blinked, "You can..." She gestured her hands, "Just turn off your aura? How peculiar! Oh but, You aren't scaring me now as much as the idea of the aura did at first. I've sat with Zinkenite and still managed to keep my wits and hold conversation with him." She nodded, "I don't understand, White does the white court dislike the dark court? Modest? Remarque? A thin smile remained on his face when she made the suggestion, though he made absolutely no effort to correct her. Remarque was proud and enjoyed boasting of his strength. He was certain she would come to learn this of him, though perhaps if she thought he was modest she might find him more approachable. And then, of course, she'd just have to join the Court and…
Remarque could have side wistfully at the thought, but instead he focused on what the girl was saying to him. "Not turn off the aura so much as tune it down a bit. But if it doesn't bother you," he shrugged. Besides, these clothes were more comfortable. "Zinkenite's not bad, I guess."
He had little to say of the man; they'd met briefly and Leto seemed to like the guy. "If you see him again, send him my regards. The truth is, I get the impression not many people like the Dark Mirror Court. Zink seems to tolerate us, at least. But I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him. Personal bias, of course. I'm sure beneath that mask of his he's a little sweetheart. But I've had too many bad run-ins with the Negaverse to just brush it aside. I suppose the White Moon has a difficult time differentiating us from the Negaverse. The energy signatures we give off feel different from other members of your Court—I'm sure you've noticed?"
He didn't give her time to reply before continuing, "There are those in this war who see no shades of gray. You're either with them, or against them. Unfortunately, some of the senshi with this belief are some of the louder ones. Honestly, the Dark Mirror Court isn't up to trouble. We're not out to—what, what do they tell you we want to do? Hurt babies, kick puppies, take over the world? Something, I'm sure." He rolled his eyes. "All the Dark Mirror Court wants is to make sure that the mistakes of the past aren't repeated. Once upon a time, you know, there was a war. A bad one. Started by the White Moon Court. And they like to pretend like it wasn't their fault, or hide behind their Moon Queen Savior. Who—you will notice—is not around. So, the Dark Mirror Court is every bit about free will. Making your own choices—following your own path. Being free of oppression, and free of a Queen who would send you to your graves while she hides in the shadows." He paused for a second and then added, "Oh, and getting into space. Huge thing for the DMC, seriously." He looked into the sky. "…Would be really great to get out there and be able to do something good for the Universe. This war is about more than Earth, after all. There's a whole universe out there. Lifeless. Just waiting for the right hands to bring it all back together. But. I guess the White Moon doesn't understand us. We're different, and stray from the paths they follow. And apparently, that makes us deviants, and apparently, that makes us enemies."

"It really doesn't." Mintaka wanted to get use to the feel of power, it was more like...A good way of explaining it, in her way was the more she experienced it, the less she would shake and waver under it. It was more of a personal belief to see herself as able to handle the strength of other leaders while not losing the humilty that she was far weaker then them.
She tried to shut the internal thoughts off, but it was hard to do when Remarque gave her lots to add to an already stuffed full brain.
"I would say Chaos doesn't seem bad in itself but I'd be naive to say neither side has it's "goods and bads" of the bunch." She brushed off her skirt a bit. "But yes, Zinkenite was nice." He could be playing her and she wouldn't even care really.
"Your signatures are very close." Mintaka nodded, "And I admit that you guys are very...very different." Even the style of the DMC's was vastly different then the white courts. She blinked as he continued explaining, doing her best to follow him as he broke down what made the war....
After he was done, she was biting on her forefinger, blue eyes deeply studying the ground beneath her as she did her best to process the information. Mind you, she had to shuffle, in her teenage mind, homework, school activites, friends and such around to fit the large amount of information in. It was so overwhelming, that she ran a hand through her white hair, mussing it up.
"You know, things would be so much better if it was just so simple. Chaos wanted to destroy universe and order wanted to keep it safe. Instead it's all the small details, Negaverse protects Earth, DMC just wish for a place to call their own. Meanwhile, My own court has no idea what they are doing besides battling a battle they don't even understand. I'm at a lost and here I thought I could naively pitter along, as neutral as can be while still being signed up under the order team because...well because It just makes sense to me." She rubbed her face.
"I promised Zinkenite one day I would take him to my home planet, would you like me to extend that offer to you? Just to see what it's like?" She studied Remarque, "I'm not sure what good I do in this universe, but I'd like to think I could be open to all sides of whatever faction chooses."Kyuseisha no Hikari IDEK WHERE THIS TAG WAS GOING

This seemed to interest Remarque more than he wanted to admit; White Moon senshi usually clung to their Court without fully understanding why. To hear that she was open minded almost made him resent that Zinkenite had gotten to make the first impression on her.
But then, she was still offering him a trip to her planet, and that wasn't exactly something he could turn down. "If you're heading into space and offering, I would love to accompany you. If you're comfortable offering, of course. I take it you've been before?" he asked, figuring he might as well keep the conversation as simple as possible now; he had brought a lot up in the past few minutes and didn't want to make anything unnecessarily complicated.
"It's beautiful up there, in space. Away from all of this. Not that Earth isn't lovely, I mean. I grew up here, of course I'm attached. I just think there's a certain charm out there—Space. I'm sure you can understand why it's so imperative that we carve a piece of it out for ourselves. So we don't have to fight over what belongs to who, what's best for people. Plus," he shrugged. "I just like to look at the stars."

"I wouldn't make it if I thought you would do something to me?" Mintaka smiled at Remarque. "Not yet, but soon. Soon I will learn how to do it. The white court has a cell phone information data base that will teach me." Mintaka rubbed her hands, "I'll practice of course, It'd be silly to take you both up on my first time and have something happen. Most likely it'll end with both of you hating me and I am not sure I could...tolerate that?" She laughed a bit.
"Sometimes I have memories. Memories of a time before me?" She tried to describe it. "Small flashes of the planet of Mintaka. It's beautiful, serene. Different then earth. I do love earth, but I feel like....a wanting for that place?" She laughed looked up to the sky. "It's a odd feeling."
"If you don't mind me asking but...How did you become a prince? How does one ascend to that sort of level?"

Remarque listened with interest; he found himself rather surprised to hear that the senshi didn't think she could tolerate them hating her. She seemed almost too innocent, and convinced that she wasn't just some expert actress, he found himself relaxing further. "I have heard of senshi with strange memories. I haven't had any, but I don't know a Dark Mirror Senshi that does. A curse," he shrugged.
Feigning indifference was easy, but he was burning with curiosity.
The other senshi got to see bits and pieces of who they were, what they were. What their homeworlds were.
He wanted that, and he would have done almost anything to see things the way they did—to know things, the way they did.
His research had yielded him with few results, but at least he had this power to back him up.
"But I suppose we all have our curses. I probably shouldn’t be complaining—this power is a wonderful thing to have. Though, I suppose it wasn't easy. Long hours, late nights. Bruises, scrapes."
Did he really want to tell someone on the other side how he got to where he was? The last thing he wanted was another Princess sprouting up on their side, but…
It never hurt to have allies on all sides.
"Near death experiences, probably. To be honest, there wasn't really a guide that came with it. I'd been doing this for a while before I worked my way up to this point. You," he paused, and looked at her rather contemplatively. "You've got a long way to go if you want to get to where I am. But," he took the opportunity to flash a quick smile. "If you keep at it, I'm sure you could get there, too."

"A curse?" Mintaka's had swiveled instantly, "Why would anyone wish to curse you?" and were curses- She stopped that thought instantly. If she was a senshi, and cats could talk, then curses were most likely real as well. "Yes Strange memories. They say visiting my world will strengthen them."
She rubbed her head, "Sometimes I remember dreams, but I can't recall all of what happened. Sometimes it happens when I see something familiar. It's different."
She looked up at him again, pursuing her lips and listening intently. Power always came with a price, and it seemed Remarque was an example of it. She cocked her head and gave a half hearted laugh.
"Power is not what I seek yet. I'd rather gather knowledge. I have much to learn. The Dark mirror court, the moon court and the negaverse. And in all of learning about them, eventually I have to learn about myself...I have to learn about Mintaka and why I am the way I am." She laced her hands together. "Maybe one day I will seek out being powerful, when I have found the thing I wish to be powerful for. I'm going to mosey along here and hope I don't bring attention to my court or others." She chuckled nervously again.

"Knowledge is a good path to pursue," he said, seeming impressed again. He had sought out knowledge, himself, but he was very focused on power. He had needed it. And he had been willing to fight for it.
Still, it might have benefited him to lie low, to play innocent and pry information from those who didn't see him as a threat, but he wouldn't have sacrificed the time and power it would have taken to go that route. "Very wise. And again, very different. But, if it is knowledge you seek, if you ever have questions about the Dark Mirror Court, I would be happy to answer them. It's the least I can do, if you were serious about that offer to take me to your home planet."

"Very serious!" She glanced down to her phone, wondering if she should give him her number when she noticed the time. "Oh...Oh my god oh no." She pulled it out and stared at it, then held it up to Remarque like he could see it and repeated, "Oh my god."
"Sorry! It's so late, I didn't realize it's so late! I still have to study...ah..." She fumbled around, before summoning a crane and pulling a pen out. With a click, she wrote her number on the crane and handed it over to the Dark prince.
"I'm very serious about going to my planet with me! I'll practice a bit and the next time we meet, I'll be ready!" She nodded, "Ahh...Take care Remarque, Thank you so much for talking with me! It was wonderful." She smiled. "Until next time?"Kyuseisha no Hikari Should wrap soon o vo? /touches Remarque
