The Red Queen and her desire for destruction was bad enough, but these roses! She wondered if this wasn't their attempt at revenge for the way she'd plucked the petals off the ones on the bush. Really they had started it with their insults and thorny jabs!
She lashed out at the rose her cards slicing at the stem while her foxfire bravely ran in to bite at it. She hastily moved to keep a sharp thorn from injuring her little companion and took a nasty scratch herself.

"Problems with fl-" Blindseer swiped at a thorny vine that had lashed out at his arm. His Flowercat took great offense at another flower attacking him, for it immediately lunged at the flower.
"Okay, I need to stop underestimating these things." he added and readied a defense for the next floral attack.

Clearly nothing phased her anymore...she sat looking at the evil rose and whimpered but it didn't seem like whimpering helped at all, in fact it just made things worse because clearly she was having a hard time all around standing a little taller she managed to do very little to the boss but hopefully enough help to UT to be useful.

She whipped out her weapon, a whip as thorny as the roses she was fighting. "Two can play this game..." She snapped the whip around the rose while her foxfire attacked and managed to avoid being struck by the thorns again.
UT looked over at BlindSeer and grinned, she was extremely glad to see him and laughed nodding.
"Troubles in Wonderland are becoming unpleasantly frequent I'm afraid-Oh! Darkling I'm glad to see you!"
She was even more glad for the sudden healing surge her friend tossed at her. "Thanks!"

Blindseer glanced over as they were joined by DarklingFox. Did she just... whimper at the flower? "That won't get anything done," he told her, but his tone was light enough for it not to be an actual jab. His sarcastic drawl was about as friendly as he got.
The flower attacked again and he once more swatted it away, this time talking a little less than the full force of its bite since he was prepared this time. And his minipet was certainly helping.
"Frequent is something of an understatement."

She smirked and then cringed as thorns pricked through her jacket and flesh. Her foxfire did not take the attack on her well and lunged to bite the offensive flower. Well she'd had enough of that, and she didn't want the people she cared for being hurt either. Enraged she pulled out her cards and savaged the rose until it drooped and wilted into lifelessness.
She walked over to BlindSeer and smiled at DarklingFox.
"I don't like how easily those things pop up..."

UT bent down and shoved a petal aside to pick up a card, she flipped it over and grinned. Well now that was useful, she slipped it into her pocket card and stepped back to see what her friends got.

"Not sure I'd call it fearlessness when I know the odds are stacked in our favor," he replied with a grin. His flowercat returned and pawed at him until he picked it up, scratching behind its ears.
"At the rate I'm going, I'll catch up to your levels... in a few hundred years." Blindseer paused, glancing over at their little healer. "Get anything good?"

Peaking out from behind her hands she looked around and smiled, "Hey look at that you two are awesome at this!"
Looking around after hearing the question she finally found a small card under a leave.
"Oh hey I did get something. An attack card. Yay...it's probably good I found you two...I think this flower might have given me a run for my life."
Nodding as she walked a little closer to UT, still unsure if she was welcome to even talk to the boil knowing full well how much she annoyed him regularly. And after the time she'd been having here she clearly didn't want to make any more enemies.
