Hey guys! This is something the anons have done for a few years now, and we wanted to bring it to this guild. Welcome to Spring Fling! During the week, each day will have a different theme. Seven days, seven themes. All you have to do is dress up according to how you interpret the theme. I think it will be a good bonding exercise for us all as a guild, and will help us get to know the person behind the anon. Here are this year's themes!
Sunday, March 30th: Disney Character Day. We dress up as like Disney/Pixar/Ghibli Characters for this one. If you choose, you can do the humanized version of an animal character. Please put down a reference picture along with the name of the character and movie your avi is dressed up as.
Monday, March 31st: Dress Like An Anon. Back by popular demand! This one is really simple; just dress up your anon like a completely different anon! Whoever you choose to dress up as, you can ask them what base items make up their character. Don't be afraid to ask for help with this one! Also those of you who aren't anons can dress up like any anon you like!
Tuesday, April 1st: Time Eras. First, pick an era of time as a reference. Here are some examples: Victorian, Medieval, 20s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. those are just examples, of course. If you have an idea you want to run with, go for it! Google is your best friend.
Wednesday, April 2nd: Anime/Manga Day. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Pick any character from any anime/manga to dress up as! It can be anyone from Naruto to Kaito Kid. Hentai/Ecchi obviously not allowed.
Thursday, April 3rd: Mythology Day. This one might stump a few of you, so let me explain. Pick anyone from any of the world's mythology. Don't just limit yourself to Greek or Roman; there are so many other options you can try! Examples include: Japanese, South African, Irish/Celtic, Egyptian, South American, Chinese, Russian, etc. Go wild! Just be sure to post a reference page along with the tektek of your avi so that everyone knows who/what you're dressed as.
Friday, April 4th: Seasons Day. This one is super easy; just pick a season and roll with it! Pick something to dress up as that reminds you of a certain season. For example, Azaleas remind me of the first sign of Spring, the pink, white, and red blossoms blooming just before the weather turns.
Saturday, April 5th: Animal Day. Pick an animal, any animal, and dress up as it! Yes, you can pick animals that are now extinct. Just be sure to post a picture of the animal, along with a tektek of your avi. Animal bases are totally acceptable.
Note: All entrants for avi of the day must submit a tektek in this thread. You don't have to quote me with it, I'll see it. If tektek doesn't yet have an item you're wearing, no problem! A screenshot/picture of it is just fine. emotion_yatta You have to wear it for the whole day, too, or it doesn't count. I don't want to miss anyone!

1) Always follow ToS. I shouldn't have to remind everyone, as it's there for a reason. 2) You don't have to participate in a certain theme if you do not want to. This is purely for fun and for everyone to learn to utilize what they have to make creative outfits on a relatively low budget. 3) Keep things simple! You don't have to spend a bunch of gold on one outfit. In this economy, less is more, you feel? 4) Have fun! That's all I really want. 5) Don't diss other's outfits. Be respectful, okay? heart
1) Avi of the Day. If you post a tektek of your avi outfit -- you have to be wearing the items in the tektek -- in the thread, it counts as an entry into the avi contest I'll be judging. You don't have to write a description of the outfit you are wearing but if you do, it'll help me judge your outfit better. There will be 7 winners, ONE winner per theme, per day. You have to post your tektek of your outfit on the day of the theme, you can't post the day after. You may only win once. Each Winner will get 1mil or an item of subsequent value. Entries are due by 2am CST/1am EST/12am West Coast Time.
2) Poetry Contest. Pick a theme and write me a poem with the theme in mind. It doesn't have to rhyme, just as long as I can recognize it as a poem. You do not have to write it centering around your anon -- it can be about anything you choose! Winner will get 500k or an item of subsequent value.
3) Art Contest. Pick a theme and draw something based on it. It can be your anon, someone/something associated with the theme, etc. Artistic freedom is yours! One entry per theme. Winner will get 600k or Artistic Freedom!
4) Best In Show. After the week is up, I will choose an avi I think caught my attention the most. I will be the only judge for this. Winner gets 1mil + [Item yet to be determined].

Thanks~ <3 I wanted to try a different disney character than the normal readheads. I saw giselle and was like "ooh! Her maiden version!" I wish gaia had the sleeves though, or the draping ribbon
