fouof was ambling about the tavern map, going in and out at random and for no apparent reason other than to go in and out. She wasn't in the mood to try any fights, tempting as some of the rewards were, and there didn't seem to be any gathering that piqued her interest.

That is, until she spotted a ghoul sitting by herself, half-dozing as seemingly befitting the dormouse that she was. What drew her to the table was actually the Arpakassus. What had her actually sticking around was the sign to take one.

All bright smiles, the mad hatter gave a wave and gestured to one of the purple Arpakassu's before pointing at herself.

Phones had stumbled blearily out of the castle after trying to help fight the queen and ended up wandering into the tavern area. He hadn't even been here before, looking around a bit lost. Eventually, he chose a building at random and went inside. His gaze wandered over the space, the table, the dormouse ... finally settling upon the minipets.

He didn't really understand these things, but he'd seen other with them. Maybe they were an important part of this game that he had somehow missed? Hm. In any case, it probably wouldn't hurt to take one, right? The music in his ears grew a bit more lighthearted, almost curious. "I've seen some people with these. What are they..? Exactly?" he asked, wanting a bit more information before just picking one and leaving.

He blinked slightly at her description of the creatures, eyeing them as they frolicked back and forth on the table. He had heard of minipets, but didn't own any of them yet - not having really known where to get them. He'd assumed that perhaps they were rewards from some of the quests, ones that he hadn't done.

He still wasn't quite sure he wanted one of these, and hearing her forced insistence didn't help. But if they really would heal him in battle, they might be useful? Frowning, he stared at them. They didn't look dangerous or anything. "I guess I'll take one," he finally murmured. "That one, there." He stabbed a finger toward the brown one, thinking that maybe it seemed more calm? Probably not, but he had committed to this now.

Phones stumbled back slightly when she shoved the minipet into his arms and instinctively grabbed onto it so it wouldn't fall. "Uh... thanks," he replied, even more unsure now. But he'd already taken the thing, so it would be stupid to give it back. Retreating backwards for a few steps, he finally turned and left with his new ... friend.

Sweetm00n whipped her head back and forth firmly. "Oh - oh no I don't want, er, I don't need any more arpakassus. They're just" She hesitated "so .... love....filled that I can't ... feel I can love them all." Wiping her forehead, she stood up and presented him with a purple one. "Here, a gift. In congratulations of your - " She glanced up at his name and level floating above his head "-twentieth level! Huraayy!" Shaking the aprakassu gently in a sort of celebratory gesture, it farted. She stopped. And then quickly rammed it into Bronze's arms and ran for it. FREEDOM!
