Fav. Food: Spicy Food (Especially mixed with seafood or using a Carolina Reaper), curry, and fish, especially crab, lobster, or shrimp and prawns (Whole or with just legs), and crayfish. She likes doin' like they do in Louisiana. Eatin' meat and suckin' on the heads. Or suckin' on a shrimp or prawn tail. She's not picky.

Hated Food: Most Spanish or Mexican dishes taste sort of funny to Kes. Does not matter you spice it up, THE STUFF JUST AIN'T RIGHT MAN.

School: Kes is fresh out of Radio Broadcasting courses, and in this respect, she's working a local Radio Station as a DJ for a Club themed music station.

Hobbies:

Music - Kestrel's heart beats in time with the music, her body moves to the beat, and she's in love with music. She views music as a form of self expression and will spend her time not doing homework or some other hobby assembling mixes and working towards getting a scholarship to a college to go into telecommunications. Kes works to mash the best songs together, and while imperfect, she's working hard and loves music, and all kinds - though her personal favorites are Trance, Electronic, Club, Retrowave, Rock, and Heavy Metal.

Painting - Kestrel loves painting. Her parents dabbled in the arts and introduced her to them early with watercolour paints and she went from there. Art is one of Kes' favorite classes and she does exceptionally in it, although she's highly shy sharing her work. She often uses art and painting as an outlet, and while she has to do other things in class, out of class, Kes paints in her room almost exclusively, using watercolours, acrylics, and oils as she can get them to make paintings worth sharing - or not, as some pieces sometimes don't quite line up with everyone else's.

Cooking - Kes comes from a mixed-heritage family with Chinese, Vietnamese, and American mixed in and she loves to cook the different foods from all sides of her family - and even a little Thai too. She's no prize winner but she's taken up treating her parents to different dishes, from Bamboo Soup to home made Bacon Cheeseburgers, and she's never afraid to try something new, especially with rice, and she's even dabbled in curries. Overall, Kes is pretty mellow about cooking, and loves making New Things.

DJing - What most people call Kes' job is not 'work' to her. She busted her bottom to become a DJ and practices her skills off duty with a side freelane job working as a DJ for local clubs a night after work, especially Gothic/Industrial and Heavy Metal ones. Kes is quite well practiced but still loves to do it, and made sure her work contract allowed it when accepting. Kes makes herself easily available to work weddings and partiers as well.

Kes is here, and Kes understands people hurt. God does she understand - and she's willing to sit and cry with you for a while, listen to some sad vinyls, maybe, and simply hurt. She knows the pain you're going through, even if she personally never experienced the same situation - simply because she hates seeing others hurt. She also worries when you worry, smiles when you smile, and gladly shares in the emotions of others. Unless her more energetic side is kicked off, in which case god help everyone.

Kes doesn't easily sway her opinion. Once she's on a path, she's pretty well ready to take it as far as it takes, through any amount of work needed. Generally pretty firm in sticking to her ideas and goals, Kes can be one difficult cookie to sway, making her a reliable and comprehensive source of advice or an opinion if one needs it, since she rarely flipflops like a fish. It also means she sees tasks to the end, and that Kes is someone whom maintains her moral code with little difficulty - changing her mind is hard for most people whom are not right or wrong, and once on a route, always on that route, although she may listen a little more to very close friends and family before digging her heels in.


Charismatic

Kes may only be beginning to actually become self aware of it, but she's highly charismatic and motivational. While in her chosen job of a professional DJ a level of energy and enthusiasm is expected while on stage or in a studio, Kes is 'on' all the time with the words people need to hear and reassurances to back them up as able. Kes can move people into action if she tried and she has the capacity to energize others simply with a pep talk. She's slowly learning that she does this, so sometimes it's not always encouragement and motivation for the best things, but by goodness Kes will do her best to speak.

Kes learned very quickly growing up that self preservation meant not having much fun and in that instance she gives her brother and best friend both heart attacks sometimes. Not that she means to - but Kes' energy and zeal tend to lead to Kes doing dumb tricks, and she nearly got shipped to St. Magsdelena for poor behavior - like borrowing her brother's motorcycle once she got a license. And driving it. In the rain. Alone. At night. She doesn't mean to risk so much, but... She's not afraid to get hurt. A good number of people warn Kes she's being careless, or think she's simply an adrenaline junkie, but this simply isn't true- Kes just often forgets to think about consequences, really.

Once Kes' long fuse has burnt away and the internal rageswitch flips, Kes turns into a ball of anger and sees no problem swinging a punch. Or slapping someone. Really depends on how fast you set her off. As energetic as she is, her anger isn't always the best and she typically does consider tagging, or TPing, or lord forbid some form of lashing at someone she dislikes. Because of her long fuse, it's also usually unexpected - Kes tries to keep from snapping with distractions, especially her hobbies, but sometimes she cannot keep it contained, and Kes will turn into a small, unexpected thermonuclear burst of anger at the wrong time. She can contain it an a school or professional environment, but in her down time... Boom.

On the downside of sticking to her guns, Kes is stubborn as all getout. She doesn't like being pressured extensively about changing her mind and gets frustrated and grouchy if people start to press too much. As far as she's concerned, her opinions and standards are impenetrable, and even if they need to change, she generally doesn't see it as important. Why should she? She's fine! Once Kes starts getting stubborn, many people begin losing patience, or seek out some family member to talk her down - or at least try, because once stubbornness' evil side rears it's head, she'll not be above turning vicious and snaping at someone, or some other unpleasant, annoyed response to being pushed once her mind is made up.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Kes' eyes are an American-Asian mix, really, slightly almond shaped, and bright ice, near-neon blue.

Hair: Black, with blue fluffy bangs that prt in the middle. Some hair hangs just over her shoulders - this is blue as well - while the rest is black.

Face: Kestrel's face is delicate and small, with high cheekbones. She's somewhat pale and wears eyeliner with neon blue eyeshadow and neon blue lipstick to compliment fuller lips. She sometimes toys in more cyberpatterns to see if she can get away with it for school. She almost ended up in St. Mags for this.

Clothes: Kes loves PVC outfits, and Cyberpunk, but skirts are for formal events. She usually favors black with neon blue accents that look straight out of TRON or out of something like Blade Runner. She also tends to show skin, mostly her midriff and her arms, outside of school, and her favorite shoes ever are black PVC cyberboots made for stomping with neon blue trim and accents... And she's always seen with neon blue headphones similar to Skullcandy Hesh or sound cancelling headphones. Always.

Hello, Nova! I'm here to drop you some crit so we can get Cordoba here stamped.

The civ side looks good, though I do have one concern. Her "aggressive temper" flaw says that she has a long fuse; I feel like that's a bit contradictory. To me, "aggressive temper" implies that there's a consistent sort of aggressiveness there, which wouldn't be the case if her fuse is long. Perhaps you could reword the flaw a bit so that it focuses on how far off the handle she flies when she does?

Now, the powered side! The design is fine (I do believe "Ice Tron" is one of the keywords for Mercury Knight design, so using Tron references is fitting), so no complaints there. Magic seems good as well. Thunderbird looks okay from here.

However, there is one thing I did spot that concerns me a bit here. Knight weapons are supposed to be timeless; Cordoba's Page weapon cannot literally be a vinyl record. It can resemble one, sure, but it can't actually be one; it's not like a Negaverse Lieutenant weapon. Please alter the Page weapon a bit with this in mind.
