This is the place were you discuse what started it all DOA1. I don't know very much about this game because I started playing when 3 came out. To me this is the worst of the series with bad gameplay and stuff but I have only played it through the Ultimate version so I don't really know.

I have only played the DOAU version and I couldn't stand it the charatcers are to slow. that, and the fact that in the original, jann lee was as annoying as hell somehow they managed to straighten him out on doa2

Was Ayane in the DOA for the Saturn? I thought Ayane was a bonus character designed for Dead or Alive 2 that they threw in to the playstation version.

Sailorcancer2004 Was Ayane in the DOA for the Saturn? I thought Ayane was a bonus character designed for Dead or Alive 2 that they threw in to the playstation version. She was in the game I'm pretty sure just not unlockable in the Sega Saturn Version.

This is the game that got me my start on DOA, not including the old Ninja Gaiden games for the NES. The graphics were a lot simpler, but you could unlock 11 costumes for each of the female characters. Raidou was also harder than Omega.

Well I don't like the DOAU1 version compared to the playsation one cause u lose a lot of unlockables. And Ayane is not in it for DOAU1. However, even with poor graphics I think it's pretty good with the technology they had in that year. I love the costumes they had, and I'm disappointed they didn't put all of it in the DOAU2 I mean for example they didn't do it at all to the male characters. I think I'll start drawing DOA characters with their DOA1 costumes.^^
