Gabriel Santiago was completely missing, and hellrisen felt like blowing off some steam after the harrowing Jabberwocky pursuit of recent times. In fact, he was pretty stoked to go after a Garden Snake, and he was even more excited to see that he'd come across an old friend while doing so. Well, he would call them that, but it wasn't as though he'd known them for that long!
Crumpet was in tow, too, and as hellrisen found a stick inside his hat which which to beat the snake pathetically Crumpet took pity on its master and healed him a little.
"Hey, n0mn0ms! Glad you're here to save the day," he joked, grinning.

She felt like she'd been rolling around in the dirt and tidbits of the scenery, but was happily hunting down snakes or plants or anything that wasn't gigantic and could eat her. In the distance she noticed a familiar hatter and she bounced over to him, wiggling in excitement. "Well hello again hellrisen! Or is it just hell? Or risen?" A grin was on her face and she turned to the snake. "Oh another brute ok!"
She moved back for a running start and winked to him when she passed, jumping up at the snake and scratching at its eyes. "n0ms to the RESCUUUUUUUUE!" Her yell was more of a song as she bounced back, landing on her butt next to him. Giggling, the petite Cheshire Cat managed to get back up again. "Not so bad huh?"
Oh how fights were exhilarating! And she had someone else to! "Do you have another chainsaw in your hat?" n0ms gave a perplexed look to it. She had claws and teeth to fight with, but how did you control what was in your hat? Or, for that matter, keep it from falling out?

For his second attack, he reached into his hat again. The stick really wasn't helping. "I'm hellish, but I also raise hell-- huh, I don't know! Risen? Hell? You can call me whatever you want, I guess! Can I call you nommynoms, it's kind of fun to say," he asked, grinning happily from ear to ear. He tipped his hat at her in greeting, and out fell a weapon that looked a lot like his chainsaw, but ... bigger. And black. And really cool.
"Speak of the devil," he said, and proceeded to hew chunks out of the snake.
"Okay! Hell it is then!" She liked him. He grinned like she did and seemed equally as eager. "Ooooh nommynomnommy!" There was a giggle and she blinked at his hat as it dropped a... she didn't know what, but it did take big chunks out of the snake. As she was distracted she seemed to only be able to heal and decided to help out that way.
"How do you control it?!" She yelled over the sound it made, avoiding an attack from the soon-to-be-dead snake.

hellrisen started to laugh, and shook snake goo off the chainsaw. "I wish it wasn't so random what came out of the hat!" he lamented, as he cleaned it a little more with his ratty coat.
"How are you so awesome with your claws, anyway? I mean you're just insane to watch, it's great," he complimented the cat. "And you're a lot less annoying than the Cheshire Cat I met in the woods who kept asking me riddles. I really thought the answers were... weird."
Now he was just rambling about cats, really.
He managed to lose the chainsaw back in his hat, and all that he got out was a handful of sugar cubes and managed to throw one into the snake's eye while he was at it. He offered the sugar cubes to n0ms, bouncing over to fill her hands with them. "Maybe they're magical sugar cubes of healing," he joked.
Except they really were.

The chainsaw seemed more impressive and she looked back at her claws and grinned the same Cheshire grin. "It's not much different from normal, that's why!" She beamed proudly and nodded. "And I met that same cat, seemed to be okay to me though I really do wonder how he disappears, I really want to do that." The sugar cubes interested her and she took one from him as he threw it, munching it down.
"Oh it's coming again!" She said, apparently it was less than thrilled at getting things thrown at it. With another jump she bit into it, crunching down on it before being thrown off. "Woah!" She shook her head as she landed. "I think the big guy is mad, hm?"

hellrisen tipped it over and started to smack on the back of it, as if he could shake something useful loose.
All that came loose was a dinner plate he would use to defend himself next time the snake attacked. He was gonna use it then, but as he was bending over to collect it he got swept with the tail and dropped it and had to wait to pick it back up.
On the bright side, it fell on teh snake's tail, damaging it a little.

"VICTORY HUG!" hellrisen yelled, throwing his cotton candy down because he no longer needed it and running to scoop n0ms up and spin the very creepy Cheshire Cat.
"I'm pretty glad you're on my side. Let's never PvP, okay? I think I'd die, and I really don't want to die," he said earnestly, smiling as his alpaca Crumpet tried to get in on the hug too.
