Lucina was excited. She had spent the entire morning cleaning, dusting and making sure everything was presentable. She threw a kettle on the stove but didn't start it. She picked a classic English Earl Grey for today and bought scones fresh from a local bakery. She hoped Mori could find the place ok. She did live in a smaller house, and it was no where near extravagant. But with it being just her there was plenty of space. The ground floor consisted of a kitchen, dining area, entertainment room (which was a large open room with a wide-screen TV couches, games and all the fun stuff), a bathroom and the stairs leading the the upper level. Which held Lucina's room, a guest room, another bathroom and a room for her collections.

After being dropped off by his driver, Mori approached the front door and rang the bell -- unfortunately, he was without his cousin for this visit. He was, of course, out of the Ouran uniform and wearing a much more casual green shirt, dark jeans, and grey sneakers. Since Lucina was kind enough to invite him to her home, he had brought some strawberry daifuku that his family's chef had made (they were very enjoyable in spring, while strawberries were still at their best). Holding the cloth-wrapped box in hand, he stood by and waited for someone to answer the door.
[ I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply! (and it's so short too x_x) Life devoured me whole. :/ ]

Lucina perked up once she heard the doorbell. Could it be~? She went to the door and opened it. "Mori! Welcome! Come in!" She gave him a huge smile and held the door open. She already had the tea on the pot and it whistled as they entered. "You're right on time!" She had her black hair in a pony tail, and was wearing blue jeans and a purple tank top. She made her way into the kitchen and took the pot off the fire. The whistling died down and the soft clink of china could be heard. She had the pot of tea and two settings on a silver serving plate. "I'm glad you found the place ok." [It's understandable! <3 *I'm patcient*]

Mori nodded in greeting. "Thanks for having me, Lucina-san. I'm sorry Mitsukuni couldn't make it," he said as he accepted the invitation to step into her home. He slipped his shoes off before walking in further, watching as she headed into the kitchen to take care of the tea. Her place was smaller than he expected (he wondered if she had space for everything her father left for her), but the atmosphere was comfortable and cozy.
"You gave clear directions," he replied from the kitchen doorway. Remembering the sweets he had in hand, he held them up, "Do you like strawberries? I brought some daifuku."

"Its ok. I'm just happy one of you showed up." Her smile didn't falter. "Go ahead and have a seat." She nodded to a table in the living room. She had to clear it of the clutter, so some of the things that were on it were scattered about. One of them being a gold statuette of Anubis. It sat proudly over them on its temporary spot on the bookshelf.
"I love strawberries!" If she remembered correctly they were the best around this time of year. "Daifuku should go great with this tea. Thank you, Mori." She kneeled at the table and pored herself and Mori the English Tea. "Should I grab another dish for it? Or is it ok to eat from the box?"

[ Terribly sorry for leaving this for so long! If you'd like to continue, I promise I'll be quicker. But if not, I understand! ]
Mori took a seat at the low table, knees resting on a cushion. "From the box is fine," he said lightly, not wishing to trouble Lucina more. He glanced around at the very interesting clutter in her home, observing the various statues and busts, as well as the armor she had mentioned before. His gaze settled on something shining and golden -- the Anubis statuette.
"This makes spring cleaning very interesting," he commented, a joke masked by his monotone. He added some sugar to his cup before a sip of his tea. "Will you be auctioning all of it?"

"Its rather fun really. Sometimes I unearth things I forgot I have." She chuckled softly as she took a sip of tea. "Everything here is my personal collection. The things be Auctioned are already at the Auction house." She reached out and took some of the treat that Mori had brought. Once it was in her mouth, a sound of delight was heard. "Mmm..." The universal sign that something is delicious.

"So it's an excavation in your own home?" It was more of a comment in monotone amusement than an actual question. As Lucina spoke, he had a sip of his own tea and picked up one of the strawberry daifuku to eat.
There seemed to be quite a few things she was keeping, he noticed, but understandably so. "Do you have a favorite piece?" he asked, looking to his current 'hostess'.

"A favorite piece..." She hummed in thought. "I do have one. Please excuse me for one moment." She set down her tea and went upstairs. After moments of shuffling, footsteps were heard once again on the stair case and Lucina reappeared. "I know its a little lame, but it has the most meaning." In her hand was a jade Magetama. "It was the first thing my dad ever gave me. It was during my first dig in Japan." It was clear that the coma shaped piece of jade was old but a fresh leather cord was tied through it to for a necklace.
She set the necklace down for Mori to examine. "Of course I have other pieces I adore, but this one has to be my favorite. I sparked my love for culture." She blushed and rubbed the her arm. All she could think about how lame or corny she must sound.

Mori waited patiently, finishing his daifuku and having a couple more sips of tea by the time Lucina returned with her prized artifact. He held his hand out to accept it and held it carefully, looking at the way the jade seemed to almost glow in his palm as light reflected from its smooth surface. He guessed it was from the Kofun period because of the ornamental stone it was made from, but that wasn't what mattered about it...
"Why are you embarrassed?" he asked, looking over at her again as he handed it back to her. "It's very nice," and all the more special and unique because of its sentimental value to its owner.
"How long have you been interested in archeology?" He had initially been interested in the samurai armor she had mentioned back in the club, but he was also genuinely interested in hearing about her background.

Mori caught on quick and was spot in of his assessment of the Magetama. "It's not that I'm embarrassed." She sat down and took a quick sip of tea. "Other find it unusual for a lady to like these kind of things. Even more so if they are the ones digging around in the dirt for them." She took pack the necklace and slipped it on. She was to lazy to run back up stairs to put it back and she didn't want Mori here by himself again. It was just rude.
"I've really only got into the nitty-gritty of it in a year ago. There was a summer course at the museum my dad worked at. I took it and became even more fascinated. There was so much more that just digging in the dirt." A smirk came to her face. "Though I do admit that was one of my favorite parts of it when I was kid. But know I can understand the stories behind them. Who it belonged to. When it was made, why it was made, what is the use of it."
