SugarPuss was walking down the path and minding her own business really when a Garden Snake suddenly decided that she would make a delicious snack in its belly and darted out from the nearby bushes in an attempt to ambush her. Kicking out at it, she snarled, not at all pleased at being surprised like this as she backed up some to cast a spell that would help her regain her recently lost HP.

Meat had been wandering about when he saw the mob attack the ghoul. Not one to let others get hurt while he was around, he quickly moved to intercept the snake and the ghoul. "Get behind me!" He called to her as he summoned his March Hare. "Sic' 'em March Hare!" he called and smacked the snake hard on the snoot with a fist, the hair joining him in his attack. He made sure he body blocked the other ghoul, not wanting her to get in harms way. She was in too deep and just when she thought that she would have to resort to close combat with her claws, she heard a male Caterpillar bark out an order to her and reflexively did as told. Shielded from imminent danger and having more time to ready one of the more powerful spells she had at her disposal, she took a step back then waves her hand towards the snake as black lightning bolts shot forth from her fingertips towards the snake they both faced.

Meat kept himself between the ghoul and the snake - not wanting her to have to worry about dealing with the creature and taking the brunt of the damage himself. He'd learned that if he body blocked and kept punching the thing in the snoot, he was able to ensure at least one person wasn't able to get hit. "Stay behind me," He said to her over his shoulder, as his march hare added to his attack with a small one of its own. "Okie..." He was good at this blocking thing. SugarPuss was starting to realise the benefits of having this boil around as she moved in to down the snake with a spell-attack combo. Kicking the snake's body hard with her foot, she turned to beam at WalkingMeatShield.
"You're pretty good at this. Thank you..."

Once the snake went down, Meat walked over and looted the snake, turning to face the ghoul with a nod. "Nice to meet you," he said with a small smile. "I can't say I went into this knowing I would be any good - this is my first time fighting a mob."He bowed his head. Following the Caterpillar boil's lead, SugarPuss picked up a card from the Snake's remains and promptly added it to her growing collection. "Pleasure's mine too. You did pretty good back there considering that this was your first time."
She smiled at his proposal that they form a party together. Had he not brought the matter up, she would have tried to convince him that they ought to do that. It was nice, being able to fall back to focus on her harder hitting spells without having to worry about the enemy beating down on her. "I would like that. I'll say that we make a pretty good team Partner."
