The next grumpy plant wasn't screaming at them. But it WAS trying to eat them. "Okay, Sevs! Like before!" She sent the hare toward the battle while she readied her own attack. Which wasn't much of an attack. WB was a little upset by that, but she would accept the heal she tossed on herself. This was not her best start. The second attack went better, much, much better. WB felt good about doing damage. "Keep it up, Sevs!" Her friend was doing a ton, too. It seemed like the battle was going her way. She hoped it would stay that way. She should have known better than to breath easy before the thing was dead. She really should have. Her next attack just...didn't do it. It hit, but she was also buy getting hit. At least Sevs was fighter. He...was a very good little friend to have. She was happy she'd picked him up. "Keep it up!" She wasn't sure who she was encouraging. Sevs really seemed to be doing fine on his own. But Waffleberry was able to not only heal herself this time, but attack. "Great!" She was readying her next attack as the flower went limp. "Oh." She watched it just... die. "Good work, Sevs!" He'd done most of the work, she had a feeling. "Very good work." "Now, lets see what this guy has for us." She was scooping Sevs up to cuddle him even as she knelt to loot the corpse.
It seemed like it had nothing shiny for her, but she was informed of another exp. increase. She'd take it.
"I wonder," she said to Sevs, "do you get to level up, too? Or just me?"
