Kasumi rocks! She is the only ninja ever known to show compassion. Plus, I love her move set, even if she is underpowered. She's below average in everything except for speed, but even there there are three or four people who are faster. But I love her anyway ^_^

Ayane's got a more tragic past and stuff. if you watch the intro for DoAU, you can't help but feel sorry for her. Plus her spinning moves and backwards moves rock.
