Mossycoat, a Gypsy Cob
This handsome stallion lives at the inn and is Mabel’s horse. He has been around just as long as she has, which is only natural considering he’s a capaill uisce! (Ask Mabel about how she caught him, she’d surely tell you the story.) This also means he is a stud (at a price) and will sire the fastest horses in the land. Ask Mabel for pricing. *This horse can’t be ridden by guests, as he is a very dangerous horse and is only tethered by magic and distance from water.
The Old Mare
This old mare is available for any guest to ride. She's a sweet old thing and loves attention. She mostly walks, she's retired from running these days. Just find Lillixandra in the stable or talk to Mabel if you want more information or to go for a ride. Perfect for small children!

"Oh, hello! The horses heard you coming from a mile away, so of course I was expecting you!" The old woman laughs and pats your back. "What can I do for you today?"
Quote this post when you want to sign the guestbook and such! You could also ask for one of the workers here and they'll surely be around. Enjoy your stay!

OOC:// Mabel is looking for guests, workers, and resident horses! She's getting old and would love the company! (Lillix and her grandson tend to get on her nerves, with all their youngster banter and what have you!)

After the long bus ride out of town and awalk across the empty plains and crossroads, Amos finally found himself as Mabel's Stables & Inn. "Finally." The merc heavied, seeing the inn in sight. He made his way to the front porch and went inside. It was a very nice place. Very cozy and rustic, plus it was something else. Amos wasn't sure, but something about the place felt spiritually sound. "Hello?" The old man called from the front desk, before ringing a bell. "I'm looking for the Mabel Walker." He called, waiting for an answer.
Mabel was dusting the mantel above the large fireplace when the young man walked in. She could feel his presence before he walked in and the horses had made quite a fuss when he arrived. The old woman tucked the feather duster in a pocket on her dress and folded her hands behind her. After walking around to the front she let out a small to noise to let him know she was there.
"Sorry it took me so long, young man. I just had to finish my dusting! Not like my pesky grandchildren will clean anything." Mabel mumbled the last part to herself as she made her way behind the front desk, waving to the young man to follow her. She opened the big dusty book that served as the guestbook. She opened it with a thump, dust making her sneeze four times--like always. The writing on the faded pages was barely legible as she flipped to a page with little writing. "Name?" the ancient woman asked after she licked the tip of the pen.

Amos was taken aback a bit when Mabel finally showed up. IT wasn't that noticeable, however as the merc only widened his eyes a bit at the sight of the ancient looking granny. Already, Amos was beginning to wonder if she was some kind of mythical creature or a human being who had achieve some kind of immortality.
When the old woman came to him, she pulled out a gigantic book, covered in dust. As Mabel opened it, a thick cloud of dust whipped into the merc's face, making him cough a bit. He put his hand in front and turned away from Mabel as she too reacted to the dust in her own way. "My name?" Amos repeated after being asked. "My name is.." The merc paused, wondering if he should use one of his many aliases on the woman. I didn't seem necessary. "Amos Dugger." He replied. "I'm going to be staying here for a while. Business." Amos purposefully omitted any critical details, such him being a bounty hunter, looking for a dangerous woman who worked for a mafia, or being hunted by a psycho killer on the loose who could raise the dead.
Mabel absentmindedly itched the inside of her large nose while she waited for the man to answer. Thus incited another fit of sneezes. After revealing himself as Amos Dugger, she asked him how to spell his last name before scribbling it down in her shaky script. There was also chicken-scratch littering the page; Mabel hated her goddaughter's handwriting. The old woman didn't even need to ask the man how long he was staying, she usually didn't anyways. She understood each person has their own business. She also knew there were forces in the universe that weren't to be trifled with.
After slamming the ancient tome shut and waving away the cloud of dust--to no avail, unfortunately for her--she squinted at Amos thoughtfully. "Mind you don't bring any trouble here. And I also forbid you from riding the big horse in the stable. Don't want anyone going missing!" She said the last part with a laugh and continued. "Breakfast is served from dawn until an hour and a half after, but you're on your own for the other meals. Your room is on the first floor, very last room. It's close to the back door, which unlocks with your room key," she said with a knowing wink. Mabel came around the counter and stood in front of Amos, who made the woman seem small and frail. She clapped her wrinkled hands together and smiled. "Anything else you need, young man?"

Amos ignored the fact that the old woman was picking her nose as he rattle off the information needed for his stay at the inn. When she closed the large guest book and squinted at him through the big cloud of dust from it, he almost felt a unnerved by it. Did she know about him? Was she too a mind reader? Didn't matter at this point. The old woman, presumably Mabel, began listing information about Amos' room, what he was allowed to do, when was breakfast and if he needed anything else. He looked down that the frail little woman. "No ma'am. I'm fine. And you don't have to call me young. I may not look it, but I'm close to my sixties. Also, could I per chance, borrow one of those horse in the stable? I have an errand I'd like to make." Amos was really hoping Mable would allow him to use any horse. He didn't really care which one. Anyone would obey him because I the rod he held. Leave it to the reputation of great Monkey King to linger in his possessions.
The old woman chortled when Amos revealed his age. "And I hope I don't look it, but I'm centuries old. I forget exactly though. But horses, horses. . ." She paused and began tapping her wrinkled chin with an even wrinkly finger. "Well, young pup, I do believe there's an old mare you can ride. Lillixandra would throw a fit if you took her kelpie. The old mare is in the stall farthest from the big horse. She's brown and very kind. You won't even need that little gift," she said with a conspiratorial wink. Mabel indeed picked up a number of things during the short time Amos was in the room, not only because her magical prowess and skill, but because she's gotten very good at reading people--and creatures.

(It's fine?)
As he had guessed. Amos figured that Mabel was some kind of ancient. He was about to rule immortal out when he then remember that this woman could have been one as well. If worse to came to happen, the hunter would see what the old crone was made of.
The old merc then smiled when Mabel called him a young pup. "I'm not a dog you know." he laughed. "But thank you. I take it you're giving me permission to use this Kelpie you speak of?" Amos held the smile on his face, trying not to show his surprise when the old woman winked at him like she knew about the magical artifact in his pocket. She knew about the magic rod on his person, then she must have known more than the hunter would have been comfortable with.
Mabel scratched her head in thought, wondering if she worded things wrong or if the werewolf was just being dense. Or hopeful. In any case she patted his arm and began dusting the mantle over the fireplace again. "No, not the kelpie, I said the old mare." The old woman paused her dusting and looked at him through squinted eyes. "Now I sound like nag!" She chuckled and turned back to her dusting. "If you need any help with her, just call for Lillixandra in the stable. She's sure to be around. If she didn't run off to that boardwalk again," she said, the last part more to herself than Salvador. The old woman began humming a tune to herself before sneezing four times, only to continue in her task afterwards.

Quinona and Constable Peares rode up to the front of the inn, with the brash woman looking rather skeptical about the whole idea of speaking to someone about her lodging. She didn't like people. Point blank. She looked down at her horse. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Constable?" she asked with a frown. Constable whinnied in response, butting his head against the post at the front of the inn. Quinn sighed, shrugging her shoulders. "Stubborn beast," she replied, dismounting and tying the reigns to the post before stepping inside.
"Hello? Anyone in here?" She put her hands on her hips. "I'm looking for a job and a place to keep myself and my horse." She noticed an old woman going about her business and strode over, tapping her on the shoulder. God, they've got old cronies working here too? What the hell? She cleared her throat. "Hello, Miss? Ma'am? Are you the housekeeper? Can you show me to the owner of this place so I can log in or something?" She pointed to the door. "My horse is outside, is that going to be a problem? Is there some sort of stable here? The sign says that there's a stable."
She was talking fast, covering up her nervousness with quick words and a loud attitude. She crossed her arms impatiently, waiting for the old woman to respond. She noticed a guy with white hair standing not too far away and grimaced. "What are you lookin' at, bub? Never seen a girl with white hair before?" she snapped. She didn't like the look of him. Something about him screamed... trouble. She chuckled at her own joke. Obviously, white hair was something they had in common, so her quip had been hilariously ironic, and -- oh, she really got to herself sometimes.
... still, she didn't like him.

Hi! :3 Please excuse Quinona's rudeness. She's more used to being around horses than people, and as such isn't very good at dealing with them.
Leprechaun_Sean
Feel free to ignore her... she's kind of a t**t sometimes. But she's friendly in her own way if you get to know her.
Amos' mind finally made itself up. He hadn't even unpacked or relaxed at all. The old merc was tired, and he could really use a rest, but there was no time to delay. There was a wannabe death goddess on his tail and he had to move. "Thank you." Amos replied before encountering a new visitor.
She was a white haired girl. She was loud, young and rude, but Amos only gave a soft warm smile to the girl. She was looking for work in the old woman's inn and that could be admired. When she snapped at him, Amos simply smiled and replied. "Of course. I've seen plenty. There's one right there." He said pointing to Mabel as she continued. "Well, I have to go. See ya." Amos then took his leave and headed for the stable.
