Hobbies:Martial arts: Taekkyon is something he's picked up over time, taking lessons when he can get away with sneaking into them. He also dabbles in kickboxing and tae kwon do. Taekkyon is his favorite though, he finds it a bit more challenging since it has more of a dance element to it.
Gym: Besides martial arts, Junpei spends a lot of time in the gym. He works on his upper body strength mainly, because his martial arts focus on his legs and strengthening them. He's at the gym six days out of the week and for hours at a time.
Knitting: Yes, knitting is a very good way for him to relax when he doesn't want to really work out or when he's particularly stressed that day. He's been knitting for a little bit, so he's not the best at it, but he could knit you a knitted hat, or a scarf. He's working on a blanket, though!
Virtues: Observant: Junpei tends to be very observant when it comes... everything. He doesn't like feeling exposed, doesn't like surprises. The best way to combat that is to watch everyone and everything going on around you, even if it doesn't look like you are. He tends to be discreet, but he'll notice subtle things about people. Besides, when you're used to people wanting to start fights with you, or you wanting to start fights with them, it's better to know who you're dealing with, as well as knowing your surroundings to formulate an exit strategy.
Protective: You will not find someone better to protect you than Junpei. If you're weaker (in his opinion) and he sees you getting picked on, he won't hesitate to jump into a fight, stand in front of you and take your licks. He sees no reason to harm weaker people. Women and smaller children are always under his protection. He'll use his own body as a shield if something is going down wrong, or try to get women and children away from a bad situation.
Loyal: He's that one friend that will stick by you through the tough times and the good times. A quiet rock that will let you vent your frustrations and never question you, really. Even if everyone else has turned their back on you, he's going to be that one friend you can always count on to be there for you. Once makes friends, he'll do anything to keep them, within reason.
Flaws: Sensitive: When Junpei was a child, he got picked on for his mixed race. He became highly sensitive to racial slurs of any kind used against anyone. They work him up and tie into the fact he has a bit of a violent temper. Of course, it's not just slurs. He doesn't like being teased or picked on in any way unless it's
clear you're teasing. Even then he tends to get mad and tries to just walk away from friends before he punches them or pops off with something hurtful.
Restless: Junpei doesn't like being in one place for to long. Usually he's only ever home to sleep and maybe eat a meal. He has itchy feet, likes to be doing something every waking hour of the day. He's been like this since hew as a kid.
Quiet: His quiet nature isn't something he's exactly proud of. It doesn't gain him any friends. When people ask him questions he usually doesn't respond because he's thinking about it or just doesn't know what to say. It comes with being observant, but a major downside. He's been called 'creeper' before because he tends to stand there without saying anything for long periods of time and just kind of stare intensely. He's eyes are more expressive than his voice.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Wide set, so dark brown they're practically black.
Hair: This but pitch black.
Face: Wide set nose that's crooked from being broken a lot. Several piercings all over his face and both ears (CC placement)

Clothes: He's usually found in muscle shirts and torn up jeans with sneakers. A belt on his hips, plain black with some kind of fancy buckle. For fall, he's actually dressed appropriately and in scarves and layers and things.
