Welcome to the Kingdom of Olecia Olecia, a peaceful kingdom ruled by a fearful King and his eldest princes. A place where villagers can raise their children and keep their doors unlocked in a safe environment. Until the day a modern city girl arrived in their kingdom unannounced. As peaceful as Olecia is, even this kingdom may not be welcoming to this curious stranger.

It was the same as any other day really; go to school, do your class work, come home, do your homework, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day. Sometimes Lynora wished she would do something new and different, doing homework all the time was tedious and it was not very much fun. It was because of her schoolwork that she didn't have friends, when you were trying to finish high school at the top of your class there was no time for friends or fun. Today was the day of the field trip to the local museum where they would have to pick an object on display and write a four page report on the history of that object. So basically the same thing on a different day in a different place.
The class was passing through the second floor of the museum which was filled with rare and ancient artifacts. Even Lynora was enjoying her visit to the museum now that there were actually interesting things to look at but one artifact in particular caught her interest. A silver necklace was on display inside a protective glass barrier; there were many colored stones with a bright green stone in the middle. It was such a beautiful necklace and she couldn't help but stare. After a few moments it seemed as if the brighter green stone started to glow and a beam of light shined on her skin which started to tingle. Lynora looked all around her to see if anyone else was seeing this but it looked like everyone had moved on ahead to the next floor. What in the world is happening to me? She thought as the tingling intensified. Lynora held up her hands and saw that she was starting to disappear. Now she was starting to worry but as soon as she turned around to run away from the artifact she had disappeared completely. It was as if she blacked out for a minute. The next thing she knew she was lying on her back on what felt like grass, she could feel the wind swishing past her body and the sun forced her to open her eyes. Lynora sat up and looked around but there was nothing but trees. "Oh no....what the heck happened!?" she asked in a panic, standing up and trying to figure out where she was. "Teacher!!.....TEACHER!!??" She called, but there was no answer save for the echo of her own voice.

A pair of blonde heads peeked out of the bushes at the new arrival. The new girl was colorful and oddly dressed, almost like a harlot, and yet she seemed to retain the innocence of a child. By her confusion, they could conclude that she was either a very new witch or someone who didn't belong here and apparently had no way to return to where she came from. Motioning to her brother, they moved to a closer bush to get a closer look at the girl.
"Psst!" Cedany whispered. "Are you in need of clothes? As nicely colored as your strange undergarments are, you can't be wearing something like that here!" She motioned for her brother to remove his robe, moving it to the other side of the bushes while he ran back to their hut to get dressed in something else. "Use this! It should keep you decent."

Lynora whipped around to the sound of voices behind her, seeing a pair of twins. She didn't quite hear what they were saying but she didn't care to listen, whoever they were she didn't want anything to do with them. Lynora turned and ran in the opposite direction yelling "stranger danger!" until she tripped over a large rock and landed flat on her face. Lynora groaned and tried to push herself off the ground when she felt a sudden rush of air against her pig tailed head. She looked up to find out where the sudden rush of air came from and found herself face to face with a huge bear who stood on his hind legs and roared ferociously. Lynora's heart jumped and she screamed as loud as she could, curling up into a ball and hoping her scream scared the bear off.

Cedany picked up the neglected robe and followed the girl, stopping once she saw the bear. With a quill in hand, she wrote some runes in the air and trapped the bear in a tall ring of fire. Grabbing the girl's wrist, she pulled her in the direction of the hut. "Cease your screaming before the prince's hunting party gets to us!" she hissed as she threw the robe over the girl, if only to cover her up. Cedany would have called her stupid if it wasn't so obvious that she was a newcomer.

Lynora let out a sharp yipe as she was suddenly dragged away from the bear. She hadn't seen what happened but she was glad to be away from the beast, although now she was in the hands of strangers who were wearing very strange clothing. Lynora snatched her arm away from the woman and stared at her for a moment, ignoring the ugly, tattered, and dusty robe for the moment. "I-I don't even know who you are. Or where I am! I need to get back back to the museum, do you know what direction it's in? I'm not even really sure how I got here." she said softly, keeping much to herself for precaution as she didn't know what these people were going to do to her. She hated being alone.

Cedany rolled her eyes. "Alright. Let us start with introductions. My name is Cedany, your savior," she said with a mocking bow. "You could show a little more gratitude. I saved you from a bear and potentially from a hunting party." She shoved the robe back into the girl's hands. "Put this on before I start calling you a harlot! I don't know what happened that caused you to appear out of thin air and in your undergarments, but you must get dressed! Does everyone in this home you call 'Museum' wear these odd things?"

Lynora blushed, she was being totally rude by not introducing herself. "O-oh I'm so sorry!!" she said in a haste. "My name is Lynora. And I am grateful for your help....I think...." Lynora looked down at the robe and looked like she had been slapped in the face by Cedany's words. "These are not undergarments!!" She yelled, looking down at her dress and fixing some of the wrinkles a little. "It's my favorite dress...." she mumbled before turning her attention back to the strange woman. "Well yes generally everyone wears dresses where I come from, well all the girls anyways, the boys usually wear--wait what am I saying!? Tell me where I am!" she demanded.

Cedany didn't like the Lynora's behavior, but she couldn't blame her. "You appeared in the kingdom of Olecia, home of prosperity and intolerance," she replied. "So, you're actually clothed? And that is common?" Either her kingdom was run by lust or the girl was a concubine who never knew the outside world. "In either case, such garments are unsightly in the eyes of the holy people here. If you insist on showing them off, come with me to my hut. I live there with my brother and we are not bound by such laws."

Lynora looked at Cedany with suspicion. "How do I know you're not going to hurt me or kidnap me or something?" Where she came from people did evil and twisted things to fifteen year old girls and this place was strange enough. She wasn't sure if she should trust this woman After hearing the strange woman's explanation she decided to go with Cedany; after all, being in a house was a lot better than running into bears by accident. "A-alright I'll come with you, but I'm keeping my eyes on you two!" she warned, though she didn't bother to put on the robe, it was dirty and smelled terrible. How could people live like this? How could they stand to wear clothes that smelled like they had never seen the inside of a washing machine?

Cedany gave up on getting Lynora to wear the robe and just led her to the hut. She easily maneuvered through the nearly impossibly twisted branches and roots, though she had to stop to make sure the guest didn't get lost. "Almost there!" she declared right when the hut was in sight. Her brother emerged from the entrance to greet them, making sure not to look at Lynora.

Lynora tried her best to keep up but it was extremely difficult, if she wasn't able to keep up then she was tripping over just about everything. Clearly her shoes were not made for walking in a forest. She was glad to hear that they were just about at the end of their journey but the little hut looked more like a shack, it was small and very rickety looking. Lynora was reminded of the three little pigs story when she entered the hut, feeling as though a strong gust of wind would knock this place into splinters. Lynora saw Cedany's brother but he appeared to be very shy around her, she knew how to solve that problem. "My name is Lynora, what's your name?" she asked the man as she extended a hand toward him for a handshake, a common greeting in her world.

Carac stared at the hand, unsure of whether he should put something there or not. He then extended his own hand, in case that was a mere gesture. "Carac's the name. I'm sure you have already met Cedany," he replied, still not looking at her. "What brings you to Olecia?"
