In the midst of the town of Inaba is a large but unassuming house in a simple neighborhood... but what most people haven't realized is that this house has become the workshop of one of the most powerful and capable summoners in the world, not to mention a meeting point for various other individuals affiliated with the group. While the normal house is easy enough to get into, though several of the deeper chambers have been locked with the Yatagarasu's most secure seals, including one room that can only be opened by a combination of Ciela's blood, magic, and will...

~::Requests from Kyouji Kuzunoha X::~

These are requests made by Kyouji Kuzunoha X (or at times, Ciela Kuzunoha I or Raidou Kuzunoha XX) for the Travelers of Time, or on occasion, other members of the Yatagarasu. To complete the quest, accept it at the location of the request and then go complete the task assigned to you! Return to the place the request was given to receive your reward when the task is complete! Some requests may have special conditions, or have a guide who accompanies you to its completion! You cannot complete such requests without meeting the special condition.

Quote:
Request Name: Beast Out Of Time
Task: Defeat the Kokogiak
Location: Back Alleys of Port Island
Description: Kyouji has located a demon that escaped from the Akarana Corridor due to your passage through it. The target is a Kokogiak - I know that name doesn't mean a lot to you yet, so here's what you need to know. It looks like a white-furred bear fifteen feet long with ten legs, each one ending in vicious foot-long claws that it uses to murder everyone in sight, like some kind of demented cross between a yeti, a polar bear, and a centipede. They're mountain demons that can conjure up fog that doesn't impede their own sight, they burrow underground faster than you'd believe, and they can exhale blizzards if you piss them off. They love mimicking voices, too, and they use that to lure travelers on mountains to their deaths. Your job is to eliminate the creature and get back safely. Don't take any stupid chances. This one's been reported in the back alleyways of Port Island, and if you find the fog, you'll know you're close. Good luck.
Special Requirements: None.
Quest Taken By: Amorabundus, Kawari, Kuzaku, Sera, Venustus
Reward: ???

Quest Giver/Notes: "The target is likely to be immensely strong - do your best to avoid direct blows." ~ Ciela Kuzunoha I

Mir

Mir stretched widely as she finished setting up some of the basic security measures that the home was going to need. It had been... quite a day so far. Watching those kids, hearing some of the words of the organization, getting herself an apprentice, and bringing a handful of others back with her. Aoko and Tsukiyo were still working on their debts and needing some supervision, but they'd seemed willing enough so far. Besides, she liked the idea of having a ghost haunting the place. On top of that, she'd picked up two more at the meeting from the Inn, bringing them back with her. Whoever had actually put Tyrant Nero into the book was probably going to be regretting that in the near future, and since things hadn't been too busy there, she'd roped Nero and her friend into helping out with security. The fact that they didn't need to pay any more rent to the Amagi Inn was just a pleasant bonus. Another room had been set aside for Asuka, though she doubted her apprentice would be using it too often, and that was the basics...

So it was time to get to work. "Keep an eye on things out here." she told the others before heading into the inner chamber and looking at the boxes. Right, then... time for some study. She had a lot of material to get through; they didn't set up a new line of the Kuzunoha every day, and the information she now had access to would go a long way towards helping rebuild the organization.

Mir

"All right, looks like things are getting settled down here..." Mir mused, glancing over the papers she'd needed to read. The estate was being transformed into a primary locale for the Yatagarasu, which meant they could finally get their agents out of that poor boy's house. Something was definitely weird about that place... but he was one of Soji's friends, so she hadn't been too concerned about it. Getting Kyori as support had been a nice bonus - the servant of Inari was a great messenger, and an old friend of some of the others. As for the rest... the Tyrant would be rejoining them, at least for a time, and bringing along that funny friend of hers. The two working off their debts, as well... along with Bluespirit and her own apprentice. A rather nice dormitory setup, really, and she was finding that she was looking forward to all of this. Of course, her apprentice could be a little needy, but that was usually cute...

She rang a bell a moment later, just to test things out.

Aoko and Tsukiyo

"'Sup?" Aoko asked, walking into the room. Sitting on her shoulder was a small doll, inside of which was... well... something very familiar to ghosts. Without hesitation, though, the small doll raised up one of its hands and waved quite cheerfully. "It's getting pretty late, right?"

User Image

Mir

"Indeed it is. We'll be getting some new residents tomorrow, so try to be nice." Mir gave a pointed glance towards Tsukiyo's doll. "Kyori's one of the messengers of Lord Inari, and Aselia's another stray we picked up a few years ago. My apprentice, Asuka, will also be coming here - and yes, she does have the authority to tell you what to do. However, as long as you stay on your best behavior, you shouldn't have any problems - they're all good kids."

Aoko and Tsukiyo

Aoko nodded. To be honest, she didn't really like the idea of even more people who could boss her around showing up... but she was basically on probation and didn't have the right to argue. Besides, if she could get on their good side, she could probably avoid ever being told what to do, and that could work out quite nicely. "Got it. We'll see you in the morning, then... er... Ciela-sama." Their room was on the upper level, and Aoko sighed a bit as she placed the stuffed doll onto the dresser. A transparent form floated out of it a moment later. "...Are you going to haunt me while I'm sleeping?"

"Ehehe~" Tsukiyo rubbed the back of her head, a wide smile on her face.

"...Just don't wake me up." Aoko sighed. She was used to this sort of thing, though - they'd been together for awhile now, and Tsukiyo was actually pretty fun despite having a mischievous streak bigger than Mount Fuji. Among other things, the ghost compulsively haunted people... which could turn out to be very helpful. For now, though, it really was time for bed.

Kyori Hoshiko

A polite knock came at the door before a young lady walked inside, bowing politely despite the generally empty hall. "I'll be in your care from now on." she said, taking off her shoes and sliding them onto a rack. They really had done a good job putting this place together, hadn't they? Impressive, that... but there was very little the Yatagarasu couldn't accomplish if it got serious. Let's see, going over the reports she'd gotten... the newly-dubbed Ciela was master of this particular estate, and her apprentice Asuka would, technically, be second-in-command once she moved in. Aside from those two, Ciela was overseeing the parole of two past troublemakers, including a ghost... and another spirit (of a more solid type) was moving in with what sounded like the craziest girl in the country. Aselia would be the last, and there was one open room, though Kyori had heard something about a maid that might or might not be sent over. Still, it was going to be a well-populated household, and she was rather looking forward to the time they'd share together.

A sound from nearby caught her attention, and Kyori bowed again as Ciela came down the steps. "Greetings, Lady Kuzunoha."

Asuka Bokuro
User Image

The front door calmly swung open, as Asuka stepped into the building, pulling a standard luggage trunk behind her, however, carrying her few weapons on her person.
They needed to be transported too, after all, and given the time of day, keeping a blade close at hand wasn't a bad idea.
She stood in the center of the main room and looked around, "Miir-Sama? Anyone here?" Her voice was slightly elevated, but not quite a yell, enough to catch someone's attention, but not enough to disturb. She wondered who else was here.

Mir

The reply was a few moments in coming, but Mir did eventually appear from further inside the house, smiling as she saw her pupil. "Ah, good." she said, walking over and placing a hand on Asuka's head. After lightly ruffling her pupil's hair, she pointed upstairs with her thumb. "Your room is up there, smaller door on the right. The one on the left is for two kids we'll be watching over-" Although calling the ghost a child might have been pushing it a bit, "-and the bigger ones are mine. The others seem to be asleep at the moment, so I'll introduce you in the morning. Remember, you're my pupil - don't let anyone boss you around. Still, it's good to see you."

Asuka Bokuro

Despite being promoted to a master summoner, Asuka appreciated Miir continuing to be her teacher.
She, blushed lightly as Miir's hand graced the top of her head, overlapped her hands in front of herself and bowed deeply. "It's good to see you too, Miir-Sama. I look forward to sharing a residence with you." Admittedly, Asuka was a lot more excited about that idea than her appearance may have let on, while inside, she was practically jumping for joy.

Mir

I'll bet. the Kuzunoha thought. She'd already worked on a few plans to help Asuka improve herself, but that could wait until tomorrow. It was fairly late, after all, and sleep was a very important thing - especially for a girl who'd been taken away from some fun, even if the new household was shaping up to be interesting. "Oh, and don't worry about the maid when you meet her. I'll see you in the morning, okay?" she said, locking the front door and grinning slightly as she headed up the stairs.

Asuka Bokuro & Relika

"Yes, hello? Can I help you?" A voice answered from an adjacent room, as Asuka stepped out into the main room, to meet the other girl's gaze.
Relika froze for a moment at the young woman in front of her, before stammering out, "Um, m-might you be Asuka Bokuro?" Was this her? Had Relika found her mother?
Asuka tilted her head, before nodding with a small smile, "Yes I am. Do you have business with me?"
Relika raise a hand to her own cheek and turned her gaze away slightly, how to do this? "Um, yeah... You could say that... I need to tell you something."
Asuka walked across the room to Relika, she could sense a magical presence from her, she felt like a fellow summoner. "It's not often someone delivers a message to me personally. What is it?"
"Um... Well..." Relika took a breath in, before bowing and speaking quickly, "My name is Relika Ak'Thias, I'm your daughter!"
Asuka paused for a few long moments, before her expression fell to one of disbelief. Her daughter? She didn't look any older than Asuka herself, but at the same time, remembered to the previous night, that young girl who claimed to be Rednal and Aselia's daughter from the future, all the same, this was still a little different. Wh...Wh-wh-wh-WHAAAAAAAAAT!!? Y-y-y-you're my...!?" immediately after that loud shout escaped her mouth, she fainted, and fell to the ground with a loud thud.
H-Hey! Someone help!" Relika called, moving to Asuka's side, sitting her up slightly, Asuka however, was out cold. "Hell of an introduction, Relika..." she mumbled to herself.

Mir

"It's too early in the morning for screaming..." Someone said, plodding down the stairs and still looking a bit disheveled. This early in the morning, she hadn't exactly gotten dressed yet, and seemed to be wearing nothing more than a single giant t-shirt with a cute pattern on it. She yawned widely, then looked at the new girl who'd entered. "Hmm, you're not Zaid. I'm Ciela Kuzunoha the I, head of the household. And you are?"

Relika
User Image

Relika's gaze was drawn to the voice, and her mouth became agape at the person before her, "Grand... Master..." before setting Asuka down, and kneeling before Mir and bowing deeply at her feet, "Grand Master Ciela Kuzunoha, I am Relika Ak'Thias, daughter of Asuka Bokuro. It's a great honor to be in your presence!" This woman was her mother's master, after all, and the very first of the name she now, albeit unofficially carried.
Her mother always spoke of her as woman of great power and resolve, and the one who taught her to be as powerful as she became.

Mir

A Great Summoner was nothing if not adaptable, and Mir immediately began to exude the aura that befit her station - despite the fact that she was garbed in an adorable t-shirt and didn't look remotely impressive. "Asuka, now's a good time to practice your mind-reading. Figure out what's going on and meet me in my study in ten minutes." With that, Mir calmly ascended the stairs again, heading back in her room - probably to put on some real clothes. Relika was quite fortunate that Mir had actually decided to wear something, given the usual attitude Summoners had about exposure...

Kuzaku Martillo, the Knight of Azathoth

While Ciela was upstairs, however, another knock came at the door - ye gads this place was busy. However, as a zombie (!!!) in a maid uniform came out and opened the door, a young man stepped inside, bowing slightly to the servant without showing any sign that he found her appearance strange or unusual. His hair was pale silver, with a faint tint of purple, and his clothes wouldn't have been out of place in an aristocratic setting. The bright red cloak served as an accent for the long braid of his hair, and two particular guns were visible on his waist. "I apologize for intruding on you this early in the morning, but is mot- I mean, Lady Al awake? I believe she was residing here at this time."
