When you enter the new library you first see the semi circle front desk. Behind it are two different sections. On the left you have an area for the Library's DVDs, comfy chairs, and study tables. This is a good area to watch the reference materials right there or just to study online. On the right of the front desk is a two story are full of all of the books and some couches.

Sitting at the desk in the new library, the vice headmistress of the school is still fuming. She is temporarily running the library because their former librarian had decided to retire without proper notice, and to destroy the original library; literally. One minute everyone was in class and the next minute it sounded like an earthquake. When everything had stopped they had run outside to see what happened to find the library as nothing more than rubble. After spending a week looking for any students or staff who may have been in the building, they had built this new library. Fortunately no one was killed when their last librarian went off of her rocker and blew things up.
Looking around the library Lily smiles now. It won't help the students who broke bones or got bruised up to get more reminders of what happened. Taking a few deep breathes she checks out some books for Bethany. "Have a good day Dear."

Just over a month since the library was rebuilt Lily is still running it. They have been hiring since the last one took off, but no one has applied yet. The young red head is currently putting away returned and left out books. Smiling softly, she makes her way around both parts of the library. They has built is as a combination of 'old school' and 'new school' designs.

The young red head is currently putting away returned and left out books. Smiling softly, she makes her way around both parts of the library. They has built is as a combination of 'old school' and 'new school' designs. Haze comes quietly into the library and looks around, her invisible wings whispering softly. She spies the redhead at the book cart. "Vice Headmistress Lily? I have heard that you are looking for a new librarian, and I saw the message on your office door. Since I was hired mid-term and will only be teaching a couple of short-term writing intensive workshops this spiring, I find myself with time on my hands. I would be happy to help out here. My field is English, and I certainly do know my way around a library! Let me know what you would like me to do. I will make myself available."

Turning as someone approaches her, Lily smiles warmly at Haze. "Hello." Listening to the other woman, she smiles more now. "That would be great! Thank you. I can only do so much of my work from the Library. The job is just putting away books, checking books out, making sure all food and drinks are kept outside, and keeping things quiet. As you can see we offer two different parts to our library. One part is very traditional and the other is more commons like with laptops and outlets. All of our CD and DVD learning materials are in that second part. Any questions so far?"

"Shall we make up a schedule of hours, and then we can post it? What a nice place this is! -- I'm guessing you had something to do with its design?"

"Goodness!" exclaims Haze, considering the manner of demise of the old library, "I wonder what could have been the reason for such an action? And how upsetting for the staff and students!" She gives a detailed list of her hours of availability. It includes most of the late night and early morning hours that would probably be hardest part of the schedule for an administrator to fill. "And don't hesitate to call on me if you need somebody to fill in in case of illness or other unexpected events. Really, I am quite grateful for my job at the university, and this is surely the least I can do."

"That's how she decided to leave. I'm not sure why though. We had no deaths or major injuries thankfully. Some students broke limbs though others had fractures and rib injuries. But everyone is doing better now. Thankfully." Writing down the times and days, Lily nods along. "Alright, I will do that. I've been having my office hours in here instead of my office lately."

"Hmm, perhaps a way for a person who is afraid of not being missed to make sure she will not be. Deciding the issue once and for all, so as to cease to languish in uncertainty. Just a guess, though." There were a lot of souls in the Chaotic Realm who thought like that. "I'm glad your injured students are better. Hard enough to be a student without being blown up by your librarian!" Haze shakes her head. She has a passing familiarity with explosives, and wonders briefly what the ex-librarian used, and where she got it. She adds, "You'll be able to spend your office hours in your office now. I'm sure that will make your job easier. Besides your administrative duties, are you teaching any classes as well?"

Great Lakes haze Haze replies, with admiration, "So you have been working three jobs, really! That's dedication. And I do hope there are applicants soon. Meanwhile, be sure to let me know if you need me to work any extra hours. Are we all set for now?" Lily laughs softly and nods. "Yes, I have and I will. Any hours you can be here will be great. Thank you. We're good for now. If you don't mind handling things here for a bit I need to check in my office and get back to some things."
