Tallulah was, at the moment, currently sunk into the cool waters of an oasis up to his eyeballs and enjoying it greatly. He was loyal to a particular clan living in Eowyn, one that his teacher Eyphah was a part of, but sometimes it was a bit hard on him staying here. It was sooo drying! How he wished that Eyphah was better in the water, if he was then the two of them could just hang out there. The Diabi was no Merkora though, his swimming techniques were a touch lacking, and even aid from Tallulah could only do so much. As such the Merkora had decided he'd stay in the area when he could though today he was heading back toward the ocean. He wanted to swim, wanted to splash around, wanted to hunt for fish, and otherwise enjoy himself.

He just found that before he could get there a break was in order. As such here he was, most of him under water though easily visible given how clear it was and how bright his skin was. Another downside to Eowyn, he stuck out like a sore thumb. His coloration was made to hide amongst the coral that he and his clan of Merkora lived in, he wasn't made for hiding in the sand. Another reason why a return to the ocean would be nice, because he'd be able to relax to a greater degree without worrying about being spotted or chased by any number of things that were out there wanting to prey on something as brightly colored as him. For the moment though he wasn't worrying on it, deciding that he wanted to just soak up the water here for a bit. He could worry about being spotted when he left the water and he'd be ready as far as a battle went.

It really was something he should probably be doing anyway since he needed more orbs to add to his growing collecting. He'd just ended up taking a bit of a break after Eyphah got hurt. He really needed to get back into the swing of things though, huh? Alright, maybe he'd hunt more when he got to the ocean? Or should he hunt for dragons while traveling to the ocean? There were many options as far as dragons went when it came to hunting on Eowyn, he'd fought many different species of them here making it a prime orb gathering location. He'd be sure to add that to his list of things to do... once he left the oasis at least. It took a bit of doing but finally he left the cool, clean waters, shaking himself off, before he started for his final destination. If he saw dragons between here and the water, great, if not he'd just start to seek them out once his fishing expedition was over.

Tallulah was trotting along toward the ocean, giving a purring sound when he was able to smell the ocean water up ahead. He was quite close enough, enough so that it had his tail wagging. How he wanted to dive on in! Of course before he could do that he would need to cover the last bit of ground and for some reason it was that final stretch between him and the water that was always the worst! As he came up over the sandy dune he was climbing he gave pause, eyes going wide, "Ahhh..." Wait a second, he knew her.

It took Tallulah a moment to place her and when it finally clicked he couldn't help but to be delighted. She was the one that he had fought against some Kiandri with, wasn't she? Ahhh, what was her name? Had he even caught it? He couldn't really recall off hand but despite that he found himself trotting over toward her, "Hello there! Long time no see." He greeted the land dwelling Khehora. He didn't mind putting off his swim in the ocean if it meant getting to chat with her for a moment. No reason not to catch up with her, if he just walked on by it would appear as rude and that wasn't something he wanted.

Tallulah gave a happy sound in his throat when the one before him seemed to recognize him. He had wondered if she would but the fact that she did was a nice feeling. His tail swished behind him as he trotted closer to her, sitting down in front of her, "I came to do a bit of fishing, the ones that we fish out of the ocean are the best." He told her in a happy manner. He gave the water a glance before his attention turned back to the female before him, "Do you eat much in the way of ocean seafood? There is a lot of great things to be had that swim around in there." He told Grrel, wondering if she did much fishing. She was at the beach so surely she must? At least the sorts of shellfish that wandered their way out and across the beach of their own volition?

From what he recalled she was a damn good hunter so surely she must be good at fishing? He found himself wondering for a moment if she were going to be hunting again soon. A part of him debating asking if she wanted to hunt with him, feeling as though he'd slacked off a bit on that one, before he shook it off. If she wanted to hunt it might come up in conversation, if not then he would do so another time with or without the pretty Orakovan.

Tallulah nodded his head, "Yes and it comes in all shapes and forms. There are some that are crunchy due to the scales and bones, others that are quite chewy because they don't have much in the way of bone. Things that are fish, some are mammals that swim." He said, listing off various things that he had caught out of the ocean and devoured, "The shellfish can be a bother though, having to pry them open so that you can get at the tasty stuff within." They were really good but a rather huge bother when you were really, really hungry.

Turning to look at her when she mentioned only eating what washed up he gave a smile, "Things that end up either washed up or trapped in the tide pools are pretty good as well as easier to deal with then things that are freely roaming the ocean." He appreciated tide pools greatly, they were like a bowl containing all manner of tasty critters! He'd recommend those any day.

Giving a smile he added, "It's worth trying to get at the creatures in the ocean but if you want an easy go at it I'd say try the tide pools for sure!" He told her, tail wagging behind him, giving her a happy grin.
