Miro floated aimlessly, letting the current take her one way, than another. As usual, she was out deep in the ocean with no land in sight. Unless you counted the bottom of the sea. She didn't. That was easy to find. True land, not so much. She'd been trying to find the right direction for a while, now. All she seemed to do was go around in circles, seeing the same coral patch. The same large, oddly shaped rock. Very oddly shaped rock.
Opening her eyes, the Nova's gaze drifted to the rock she had been ignoring for days in her search to find the right direction. Her internal compass had never been that good. Though she really couldn't believe she was passing this same rock every time. Furthermore, she'd never gotten a good look at it before. She had never been all that interested in rocks. But this one, when looked at closer, didn't appear natural. It looked like someone had chiseled away at it with smaller rocks to make the shape. She swore, if the land was only in the one direction she hadn't traveled, she would lose it.

Traveling out in the ocean, he found, was a nice get away from the fresh water lakes and streams he had been in. Just a couple days back Nouviure had decided to further his adventure of the worlds bodies of water to the ocean. Alas since he had not gone to the ocean before it seemed his blue form was not yet quite used to the salt water, he did get an urge to scratch his fins from time to time. But because the urge didn't bother him that much, he flipped his mind back to thinking of the wonders he could find out in the great blue. Then as if he heard a siren call his name he looked into the unknown , nothing to see but the sun light shimmering through the water's rippled glass surface. But what was it? he wondered, should he pursue the noise. Nouviure came to a comprise that he did not have anywhere to go, he was just expanding his knowledge of the world and that nothing was really holding him back from going anywhere either. He decided he would follow that call, whatever it was, maybe he would learn of it. Or maybe it will become my my demise, he though with a side of his mouth arching upward, only one way to find out. Over-joyed at the thought of a new discovery or adventure he then started to glide in the direction, slicing through the water swiftly. But he was disappointed when he saw the dark blue silhouette of an coral rock, or maybe it was a different rock he couldn't be sure. He slowed down his tail's motions and drifted to a stop near the rock, his eyes narrowed in slight disappointment because he did not find the rock interesting, it looked just like the others, but he thought nothing of it and turned to change his course.
