Tziporah flexed out her wings and she looked up at the sky. She had been starting to feel very sluggish these days… Not to mention she’d been noticing the weight gain. She stamped her hoof into the ground and she growled. This had to be impossible! She could not get FAT! This was going to ruin everything! Anzu would cast her aside if she lost her usefulness. She growled more and glared over at Awi. The Crow had been leaving more fatty bits on the meat than usual. Things she didn’t normally eat… Sure they were more nutritious, but it kept her from being able to perform in top shape. Damn those stupid birds!!
Awi was perched on the tree limb and returned the mares look. His head cocked to the side. What a dumb mare. She had no idea what was going on with her body. Why did he hang around with such a horse? He had to slip in those fatty bits because otherwise how would the little ones get nutrients with how she normally ate. The crow bristled and went to find Branwen.

one over three:
Branwen was resting between Anzu's wings when she saw her son approach. That was the reason she so often stayed with him. His larger frame made her easier to spot and his daily strolls through the woods gave her a roaming vantage point.
She cawed once, to let the big lug know she was leaving, then flew up into the branches to meet with her child. No male ever alighted upon Anzu. She wouldn't allow it.
"You seek me?" she chirped, cocking her head to one side.

As Awi settled into the branch and folded his wings, he regarded the large stallion, his horses' mate. He was a strange one but one that Awi respected too. His lowered his head to his mother in a greeting. "Dearest mother, The Mare has no idea what is happening to her. I fear that she might harm herself or worse the offspring." As much as he thought it was funny the cluelessness of the two horses. They had no idea what was going on. They had to make sure that Tziporah was eating well and gave birth to healthy foals. Anzu would be very angry if they were weak.
"She looks at me like I'm evil in carnet for not picking off all the part of the meat she dislikes even if it's for her own good. She was storming around the nest in frustration of the weight gain."
