Personality: Alexi is a kind and patient Gryphon, much opposite of how his kind is portrayed. He can come off as a bit quiet, but is fairly quick to open up to whomever speaks with him. However, Alexi is as proud as a Gryphon gets, and never fears to speak his mind.
Skills: Alexi Petrenko may be a skilled hunter, but he also knows how to skin a beast as well as fish and set some elaborate traps, which could usually be easily seen by anything more intelligent than the average beast. The accuracy he demonstrates with his
Rifle is obviously above par.
Biography: Alexi Pevtrenko was born and raised in the city of Pisa, many miles north of Canterlot and within a low-laying mountain range and the only Gryphon city to openly accept Ponies. Most of the equines were Pegasi, of course, and the city was politically disconnected with the three major Griffin clans 'Civil War or Words' for rule over their kingdom. It was during Alexi's elementary years that he quickly befriended a pegasus and remained as such, through times of bliss and hardships, until the pair eventually fell in love. Her name is Sun Dancer.
At the age of sixteen Alexi was old enough to finally become a proud warrior for the Gryphons, as to be expected from the son of a skilled smith, yet it was also the day that Princess Luna made her return. Roughly six days after did word only get to the city from Canterlot, and that filled Alexi himself with a sense of Wanderlust. Three times he has tried to depart, three times he gained cold talons and stayed: It was his own worries of his mate that seemed to keep him there. However, this did not stop the Gryphon from becoming an able Marksman with a Rifle, one of the few weapons his kind are proud to use due to the possession of fingers.
After three long years, Alexi Petrenko and his spouse Sun Dancer finally did move out of the city of Pisa, riding on the winds from the mountain to wherever it took them. Eventually the pair landed in the town of Ponyville near the edge of a forest filled with rumors, and they decided to have their small home built right on the spot. Whenever he's not out hunting, Alexi frequents the nearby village to listen to the small talk, or get drunk.

Dislikes: Unneeded violence Cold winds, Assumptions due to his race, and insects larger than a house fly.
Other: Since he is a hunter, Alexi took it upon himself to learn how to fish as well as gain some basic survival skills.
