Seashore Field:Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times).This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Walking into the stadium Alexa paused to take in the field. Seashore field, huh? Well it certainly wasn't a great field for her fire pokemon. But it was a good chance to get them used to battling on it. They never knew when they'd fight in similar conditions. "Alright sleepy head. Time to battle." She said to the ball of fur in her arms. She gently put her Darumaka on the ground and backed up to her trainer box.

With a happy little skip, Charlotte entered the stadium. "Ahhh, I LOVE this field! It's the perfect place to beee... if only they'd let humans hang out on it, too!" She released Glace out onto the beach, who began splashing along the shore while waiting for the battle to start.

Charlotte waved to the trainer far across from her. "Hey, nice to meet ya! I hope this'll be a good battle... it's time to start it up! Glace, use Sand-Attack!" Glace stopped splashing along the water and scooped up a hardened chunk of sand with his front paw. He hurled it straight towards his opponent, hoping to land a good hit.

Alexa waved to Charlotte. "Nice to meet you too!" She called out with a wave. She grinned and watched Pyrrhus waddle around. "Watch out Pyrrhus!" She called when the attacking began. "Now use Fire Punch!"
Pyrrhus was still waking up when his opponent showed up. He stared at Glace for a moment and then scuttled out of the way of the sand. He got hit in the rear and he yelped. Turning he blew fire on his fist and rushed at Glace.

Glace cried out as the fiery fists of his opponent made contact. That hurt! He wasn't about to let it stop him, though - without waiting for his trainer's comment, Glace unleashed another Sand-Attack.

Alexa winced as Pyrrhus was blown back from the sand. She cheered him on as he staggered to his feet. The little guy looked like he was going to cry. "Come on Pyrrhus! You're doing great! Give 'em another fire punch!"
Pyrrhus was indeed about to cry from that brutal attack he just suffered from. He looked at his trainer as she encouraged him. How he wished he could stop and just cuddle for the rest of the day. But hearing her say he was doing great gave him some courage to continue on. He sniffled loudly before waddling/running at his opponent. As he drew near he set his fist on fire and punched.
