Who do you guys think will win the Sprint Cup ROY? In my opinion it will be between Dillion and maybe Kyle Larson (just some early season thought)

I think you hit it with it being between Dillon and Larson. I'm leaning towards Dillon because I'm not convinced Ganassi has all their problems sorted out yet.

I'm gonna sound like one of those crazy conspiracy theorists...but right from Daytona I think it was already decided when Dillon took the pole for the 500. Soultrain is probably right. Ganassi likely hasn't sorted out all their problems yet and that coupled with going up against the #3 for starters, I think there has to be some fix in for the #3 car. To me it looks just like Danica Patrick winning the pole last year. Danica Patrick is a cash cow. Likewise the #3 is a cash cow. And over the years I've seen enough rule changes favor Chevrolet drivers that I've always been at least moderately skeptical that there is money going under the table somewhere.
For example the "Matt Kenseth" rule of 2003. Matt Kenseth ran away with the championship in the last non chase year. In the closing races of the season Kenseth had an approximately 400 point lead with only one win before some late season bad luck shrunk it down to 90 by seasons end. Despite the bad luck, Kenseth was still crowned one race before the final race at Homestead.
Again the "Roush 5" rule. In 2005, all 5 of Jack Roush's Fords made the chase for the championship. Soon after the season ended, NASCAR decided it would put into law that no team could exceed 4 cars for more than 7 races. This eliminated any possibility of running 5 cars for a championship. In recent years, Hendrick Motorsports (the most fiscally valued team in NASCAR) has placed all 4 of it's cars in the chase, as well as sporting a 1-2-3 finish in 2009 with seemingly no new rule changes regarding the domination of the organization.
The rule I consider as the "Tony Stewart" rule of 2006. In 2005, Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson were the only real threat to contending for the championship against the Roushkateers. Jimmie Johnson followed Tony Stewarts dominant (and Matt Kenseth-like consistent) performance to win his first of 5 consecutive championships. In the meantime Tony Stewart made headlines by missing the chase for the first time. Not long after, NASCAR announced it would go to a 12-man chase field. Many felt like one of the reasons for the expansion of the chase field was Tony Stewart's absence from it in 2006 and expanding the field would make it more likely that NASCAR's stars would be front and center for the duration of the chase.
One thing that has bothered me personally is the lack of rules regarding the number of teams a manufacturer is allowed to field. Since 2003, Chevy has been the owner of the manufacturers title. Going into the 2014 campaign, top Chevrolet teams sport 14 active championships, 2 four-car behemoths, 3 cash cows in the form of Dale Earnhardt. Jr, Danica Patrick, and the return of the number "3", and seemingly endless sponsorship. In the meantime, Dodge was forced from competition for reasons that it could not financially support a championship contending Sprint Cup team, and the largest rival manufacturer teams are the three car operations of Roush Fenway Racing Fords, and the Toyotas of Joe Gibbs Racing, and Micheal Waltrip Racing (not sure of Waltrip's third team's full-time...ness).
Despite the fact that the 42 and the 3 are under the banner of Chevy, I believe the fix is in for the 3. When people think of NASCAR, there are few things they think of first. And Earnhardt's #3 is one of them. The car could be running in last place every race, but you can bet there will be a camera pointed at it the entire time. I'm not saying it's a 100% chance that Dillon will win the Rookie of the Year title this year, but barring any substantial mechanical failure under the hood of his car and some miracle drives by Kyle Larson, NASCAR will quietly give the advantage to the #3.

I had a good feeling about Kyle Larson this season and so far he hasn't proved me wrong smile

Idk if its too late but I'm picking Kyle Larson for rookie of the year. Dillon is cool and all but just watching the first 6 races this year its pretty obvious Larson just runs better. I think Larson will also win a cup race this year.
