Personality: Aeon is an eccentric by design; his manner of dress and speech are flamboyant and often irreverent, which is all to perpetuate the image that between he and the one closest to him, he is the strange one. To lure all eyes and suspicion upon himself and cast her in a brighter, more trustworthy light is his goal, which hides a truly compassionate albeit clever heart below. He was the son of a fortune teller and a timeless man, which lead to him taking on traits from both and a speech pattern which often references time, clocks, and other such things, earning him his nickname on its own. In the end, however, despite all his oddities and the face painting and the strange manner of talking, he cares as much as anyone about the elimination of the corruption...there's just one other thing he cares about more...
Bio: Aeon was born into a strange family; the son of a fortune teller and a man outside of time, the greatest traitor in the history of the Four Great Summoners...and his childhood was suitably complex as a result. That would have been the case without the deadly corruption that was darkening the world around them, of course, but in such an apocalyptic future there was little for him to do except to stay hidden and listen to the teachings of his father as time went by. His father...the last of the line of Ichirou...was a man of many secrets; by the time that he had devoted himself to the eradication of the Corruption in order to preserve the world as he wished for it to be, it was already late in the game and much of the Yatagarasu resistance had been destroyed. None of them ever viewed his father, or himself by extension, with anything less than an abject suspicion...hatred at worst. Clever as he was, he understood the sentiments held by others, but never wavered in his loyalty and devotion to his father, whose goals by the time Aeon came to be were mostly noble. He saw the best version of his father that there ever was, most like, and his mother helped to shape his image. By the time that the Resistance had no choice but to join forces with Cesc, his research into the causes and traits and slowing of the Corruption were lightyears ahead of the best the Crows had to offer...and Aeon was present for every bit of it, learning from his father as they went.

By joining forces with the Crows, however, his tiny family (made tinier by the deaths of many of the Orochi's finest to the Corruption) had opened up a world to him that his father had once known but he might never had without the change in the world...summoning, secrets, other people of all different types that he could speak with and learn from and come to know. His thirst for knowledge was immense, much like his lazier father, but his personality was far less languid than Cesc...which allowed him to grow faster. He learned from the Crows, from other people, and he made connections...grew to like certain people. One in particular he enjoyed being around more than others, but fairy tale stories and friendships made with the Corruption closing in around them were always doomed to fail. One important friend would die...another would be lost to the Corruption forever, never seen again...and while his father's characteristic detachment was present in his attitude, deep inside of his heart there was a painful desire to hold onto what he had come to care for, the people who had helped him grow, the first people he had really known outside of his family...and her, of course, more than any other.

Months before the time-leap plan was put into motion, one of the last Crow bases became overrun by the Corrupted and in the fight to allow many of the younger kids to escape, Aeon was nearly infected himself...but instead, it was her, his most important friend, who had been stricken when he parried the strike intended for his heart. Inadvertently, he had avoided a horrible fate only to see her succumb to an even worse one...and so his father had taught him the last of his Time Magic, to slow but not quite stop the Corruption taking over a person...as last gift before the kids were to be sent through the Akarana Corridor into the past. The rest, his father had told him, he would have to figure out on his own...provided he could keep her alive long enough for his research to be completed. But if he could stop the Corruption...turn back the clock, so to speak, and perhaps even cleanse them one day of the darkness entirely...he might become even more so than his father, the most important person in the Resistance...not in the doomed future from which they had all come, but in the present...where they hoped to stop the spread before it could corrupt them all. If only...but it all nearly didn't happen, for when the time to send the children back came they were all, but one, in opposition to the inclusion of his important friend in the journey.

Taking her back to the past, Corrupted...albeit with his all of his power and time magic devoted to slowing the Corruption to a crawl inside of her...might risk a further corruption to the past. They didn't want her there...didn't want the risk...but Aeon adamantly refused to return without her. And so against their will, he brought her along with him...but under the vow that should she ever lose her rationality and control, that he would be the one...no other...to seal her away entirely and end the threat of Corruption to others from her. He would have to see to it that she did not fight or stab or bite any other person and spread that corruption...and protect the past, leaving his father behind in the future as the world closed in around them.

It was all one Hell of a burden to lay on the shoulders of a kid so young, and yet he bears it with a smile. A smile he wore on the day he left, when his father entrusted him with the Name he had once abandoned...ceremonial as the passing of the torch might have been. Forced smile, perhaps...but strength was something that he inherited from his parents. Of body and mind...

Soul Shard: Time Seal - By offering half of his soul to an unknown by incredibly high-level demon and allowing it to willingly reside within him [as opposed to a forced seal], Aeon has been granted access to an immense power that he draws upon both for combat purposes and to remain youthful and extend his life for an untold number of years.

Control over and immunity to Time/Speed Elements [Spells] are enabled by the demon. Things such as preventing use of abilities which increase or decrease the speed or time in any given area fall under this domain. [However he cannot simply stop time...only slow it, or slow the progression/development of magical substances. Its levels are bound by the levels of spells such as Ari Dance, and spells which improve Hit/Evasion rates, etc.]

[Over time, and with help from his father, Aeon's Time Seal has been developed as a means to slow the encroachment of the Corruption, specifically, when overtaking the body of an infected person. Personality: Venu's a bit cold and standoffish to others, but he's got a soft, sweet side underneath it. He doesn't push away people because he's some kind of loner...but because he's afraid. Both of people, and of something horrible happening to them.
Bio: Venu was born in the world to Geirin Kuzunoha the 23rd, and an Atma user of the same group, Kanade Tachibana. Being born of an outsider who'd shown immense potential, and someone infected with the Atma virus, It was a toss up which one he'd develop into...Until he hit the Age of Eight. As he'd started to practice with Devil Summoning, a strange brand appeared on his hand, just as he'd managed to conjure up a demon. While it was attributed to how much demonic energy his father had seemed to almost radiate with at times, and his acclimation to the Spirit of Sif.Though his mother could do a little of both too. However, with an Atma form to hunger for the demons, it was deemed too risky for him to really pursue devil summoning...but his Atma form was also weaker than most... It seemed though he'd inherited powers from both sides of the tree, he didn't inherit the raw power of each. Though the heralds wouldn't permit him to be formally educated, his father always made time to teach him...Eventually gifting him with one of his own demons to watch over him as he finally showed control over his form, and demons.
However, that night after he was gifted his demon, his father vanished. The next day, his father was labeled MIA, and presumed dead... While his mother trained him with his Atma for a while.. The enemy launched an attack at the weakened base..and though his mother fought bravely, her life was taken. He was hurt...but taken in by a family friend, he started training anew, remembering his mother and father's words. No matter how dark the world got, he kept on fighting..and as he persevered, he was given his chance.
A mission to go back in time, and change the past. Even if it meant that he might not exist...IF it meant for the better of the world, and for his parents....
He'd do it. Though, he couldn't help but wonder if he'd be able to meet up with them again...And maybe get lessons from Dear ol' dad and Mom again.

Personality: Kuzaku was raised to be the best person he could be - just and tolerant, with an attitude befitting a knight, but willing to use force whenever necessary. He's almost always respectful to others, even when they're weaker than he is, and occasionally displays quite a bit of natural charisma.
Bio: Kuzaku Martillo is the biological child of Titus Martillo and Al Azif. As if that weren't enough to ensure a sufficiently absurd childhood, Tyrant Nero (i.e. Ennea) had a major role in raising him throughout his youth, and the three of them taught him a lot. The future was bad to the extent that many groups who usually disagreed were willing to come together, and the members of the Lin Kuei eventually convinced Jian that it was in the best interests of the family to help out. Even the immortal alchemists were hard-pressed, and both of Kuzaku's parents were often away on missions while he was growing up. All three of the people raising him were determined to see to it that he would survive, though, and Kuzaku was the last one to receive the Grand Panacea before the facilities of the Lin Kuei were lost in that timeline. Afterwards, he was sent on several missions, where he performed well - ultimately leading to the decision to send him back to the past (with several others) to try and change the future.

Outside of that, most of his combat training came from Ennea, who also gave him the nickname he currently possesses. Kuzaku's powers are something of an insane hybrid of his parents', which amused Ennea to no end, and she worked hard to develop him into the best warrior she could. A little alchemy, a little justice, and a little eldritch insanity, all in one compact little package...

God-Beast (Incarnate)
Description: From his father, Kuzaku inherited the knowledge of an alchemical process used to create life from the elements and summon beasts of devastating power. Unlike Titus, however, Kuzaku has only had the time to develop and create one of these behemoths... but it's a true monster, and was a major help to the allied forces in the last battles before the kids were sent back.
[Creates a God-Beast that can be summoned at-will. Like Titus' creations, Kuzaku's God-Beast is immune to all Ailments and Instant-KOs, and drains its element - Nuclear. Its resistances cannot be bypassed by any method. Kuzaku's creation is capable of using any non-unique skill on the skill list associated with the Nuclear element. The God-Beast can be destroyed in-battle if it suffers overwhelming damage, but cannot be permanently killed as long as Kuzaku is alive, and it can be restored four posts after its destruction.]

Magus Form

In addition to the alchemy he learned from his father, Kuzaku worked with his mother and Ennea to tap into their own sources of power. The result is his Magus Form, a sort of self-improvement technique that helps him overcome his foes and protect his friends.

Aura of Azathoth: The aura of Kuzaku's Magus Form reduces the power of all attacks made against him by 10%. It's also infused with Ennea's own wisdom and knowledge, with the end result of a 1/4 chance of affecting each opponent with Intimidate each turn he's in battle.
The Elder Sign: A powerful symbol against all that is evil, the Elder Sign was inherited from his mother. Casts Tetraja and Tetrakarn OR Makarakarn All Allies. Usable once every 5 posts, and no more than three times in any one battle.
Demonbane Two Sword: A power named for his mother's abilities. By sacrificing his God-Beast (and rendering it unusable for the rest of the battle), Kuzaku can take its power into himself. In his right hand is the power of Al's Lemuria Impact - heat, gravity, and love. In his left hand is the power of Ennea's Hyperborea Zero Drive - cold, emptiness, and a complete halt to all things. When used together, Kuzaku can form the two swords that the technique is named for, drastically increasing his overall stats and improving the power of his other attacks by one rank (to a maximum of Severe - attacks already at this level do not get that particular buff). The powers of his other weapons can be used through the two swords.

All of their powers remain active in this form, but the beast also obtains the ability to speak and understand human language, gaining a personality of its own. Can be released back into its God-Beast state with a second use of the Horn, which gives the creature a small, 5-turn long boost to its abilities upon 'release'. If blown again, it will once again return to humanoid form.]
God-Beast Shackles [A pair of divine shackles which, when placed on the body of a 'God-Beast' may limit their power both offensively and defensively slightly. A slight reduction. However, the power saved via the sealing will burst forward when unleashed providing a great increase (all spells/attacks are equal to an Amp+Charge) boost for 1/2 as many turns as the Limiters were worn, rounded favorably. (1-2 turns of Limit gives 1 turn of Boost. 3-4 turns of limit equals 2 turns of Boost. 5-6 turns equals 3 turns of Boost.)
Blue Apostle's Ring [Allows the user to cast [Maha Magnadyne]. If the holder of this ring is in life-threatening danger and it is not a storyline event, the one wearing the Guardian's Seal Ring (Al Azif) can arrive in time to help them.]
Wei Armor [Blue-woven reed shirt of mail which is much sturdier than it looks, emblazoned with the sigil of the Kingdom of Wei. Increase Dark spells/defense by 50%. Personality: Relika is calm and soft spoken, but strong willed. She carries a kind air about her, but at the same time, an air of power. In battle she takes after her mother, an iron will that can't be broken. There are times when she doesn't speak very much, being able to convey her intentions without the use of words, something she picked up from her aunt, Aselia Bluespirit.
She tends to get a little exasperated when people around her are being crazy, usually playing the 'Straight man' in most situations.
Bio: Relika was born from the union of Asuka Bokuro and Rednal Ak'Thias. After the Incidents in the tri-area had been resolved, Rednal joined up full-time with the Crows, in that time, grew even closer to Asuka, and eventually they conceived a child. At that time, Asuka was known by the title, 'Ciela Kuzunoha II'
Relika was fighting with the rest of the Yatagarasu, using her prowess as a summoner to the best of her ability, she also inherited her mother's wind abilities. The daughter of Ciela Kuzunoha the II and Rednal Ak'Thias, and the man who burned everything in nuclear fire a nice bloodline she intended to do justice. Her father died igniting a huge explosion that bought innocents time enough to flee. When she heard about the plan to send agents back in time, she demanded to be one of those sent. The superiors considered this, and decided to allow it.
Her mother went back to fight immediately after she was sent through. Her current fate is left unknown. All but one of her demon allies perished in the last battle. Her mother's old companion passed on to her daughter, Corielisa.
Relika refused to let the future she was born into come to pass, and it has become a very personal goal to her, to her, this mission isn't about her loyalty to the crows. It's about her loyalty to her parents.

Personality: Pati's a cheery, bubbly kind of girl. Though she comes off as a bit ditzy sometimes, she's got some brains underneath it all. She's really friendly, and regards her summons as more than just tools: They're Family. [Possibly literally, in some cases]
Bio: Pati doesn't remember much of her childhood, having grown up more with her father a lot more than her mother. While her memories of mom are shady, she's got vivid memories of her father. While he was a bumbling, yet doting dad, they would always hang out, he'd play a game or two with her and her 'Sisters', who were demons that grew up beside her. However, as long as she's known Jo(shu), he'd been missing his right arm, which he wouldn't tell her how he'd lost it. Despite his handicap, he was still always there to help her out whenever she needed, pick her up when she fell..And as she grew older, he taught her the art of Devil summoning, using her friends to help her out. Eventually, she was able to conjure up her first demon, and maintain it..prompting much praise and doting form her father, along with her being gifted with the tubes of a Devil Summoner. What's more, after some more training, he gave her something special.
A tube in a cigar case, that housed a demon of her mother's. However, she was told to not invoke it, until it was absolutely needed, the demon likely going to be way out of her range for a while. After some more training with her father, a summons was to take him away....battered and worn out as he was. However, to keep her safe, he left her with one of his oldest, and most trusted demons. Despite her newest friend, and mother-like figure....He never came back, reported dead.
When she caught wind of a plan for them to go back in time, to prevent the horrors of the world that she learned of after escaping...Of changing the past, she volunteered immediately, wondering how much of her father's tales were true...And to reunite with him, of course. And of course..meet her mother, and make memories with her too.

Personality: Zaito is one to not overly express emotions, except for when it is mostly needed for. He is used to having a calm face around familiar people, as well as his demons or alone, but in most other situations, he has a mute face. He also pokes at others who stumble over Zaitou's deficiency of sight.
Bio: Zaitou Hanako was born to the parents of Mei Hanako and Yasumoto Kensu. From genetics, he was born blind, and was trained helped by both parents to overcome the difficulties that was such. When the Corruption hit, his father stayed around to help out with the resistance, whereas his mother had helped pull together and help others who where displaced by the Corruption. When Kensu had died fighting a major battle against the Corruption, Mei was beside herself, and was sometime afterwards overrun by the Corruption finally catching up. Being one of the few left not affected by the Corruption, Zaitou was sent back in time to help out to prevent the catastrophe from happening again.

Bombwork Maker - With training from his father for furthering ways to overcome his blindness, Zaitou has learned the art of bomb-making from his father. Without the dire need of assistance, he is able to create homemade bombs to use against the enemy, even during the midst of battle. The bombs, not as detailed or well made as his father's from the future, they still are good at getting the job done. [ One turn preparation of building the bomb, and launched bomb deals High Fire/Phys damage to one enemy. One turn after of cooldown.]

Bio: Fate was conceived during an...interesting night with a Lin Kuei Member, and a certain infamous brown haired summoner. While the world seemed to continue spinning round and round with various things.....the alchemist eventually learned that something had been changing with her...
And, several months later, Fate was born. While she grew up in a...questionable home, bouncing between the Lin Kuei, and Jo(shu) ever so often, she was getting into trouble at a young age, starting to come into her abilities. With the Alchemic potiential inside her...Along with the energies of a summoner. As she grew older, things got more complicated as she experimented with her powers, causing several issues as she was drawing interest of human and Demon alike. However, around this time, the Corrupted were starting to rise...and things started.
Though she was tempted to try to fight them, her mother had given her life to protect her, and let her know just what kind of things the corrupted would do, giving her the parting words to try to find her father, and to be safe.
She'd learned of an effective way of handling her powers, harnessing energy, and combining alchemic energy with magnetite to create temporary weapons to help fight off the enemies. After several years, (and some eventual training from her reluctant father), they were given their chance....A chance to change the past, and by proxy, the future. With some parting words, and gifts, she went with the others, to head towards the past..to create a new future

Description: By Drawing things along with her fingertips and reinforcing them with magnetite, Fate can Create various objects out of nothing, similar to how her mother's Mime matrix made things. However, unlike her mother's, her items aren't entirely invisible, given a vague outline around them....And while she can speak with her weapons without them vanishing thanks to the magnetite, but they lose a lot of power. Her creations are also more fragile than her mothers, meaning they break after One or two hard impacts.
[Can Create a temporary weapon out of Alchemic magic, and Magnetite. Strikes made with them do Medium Non-elemental Damage, but break After Two Hits, forcing one to make another before using it again. Speaking while using the magic reduces the power, and thus, the damage to Low. Creating a weapon is considered an Action, but Fate can still command her summons/swap them out during a turn in which she creates a Weapon]

Personality: Euphie talks far more than her mother does; she was born relatively late into the war effort, so she's never really had a peaceful childhood. Essentially, she was forced to grow up far faster than anyone should, and she often finds it hard to smile - but at the same time, she desperately wants all of her family to be happy, together, and smiling. She often pushes herself past the limits of safety and good sense in order to help others, and only her role as a rear-line combatant managed to save her from becoming Corrupted. Her feelings for her father are actually quite easy to sum up.
Bio: Rednal and Aselia's daughter, and thus Relika's half-sister. Euphie was born a bit later than some of the other children, and the circumstances were... interesting. Courtesy of her mother, Euphie was born infected with the Atma Virus, and never quite managed a complete transformation there and back. Instead, she seemed to be stuck somewhere in the middle, much like the continually-popular former secretary of the Embryon who was now running the desk of the resistance at one of their most secure locations. Of course, it wasn't like she was a perfect Atma-user, either, especially not once Yidhra got involved. As a result, Euphie has access to fewer skills than most Atma-users, but her powers are expanded on in other ways. Despite her young age, Euphie's seen more than her far share of tragedies happening, and these did have an effect on her impressionable young mind.

Most notably, Euphie's ancestry and training have developed her in an interesting direction. She adjusts the output of her offense based on the task at hand, which has resulted in an astounding degree of versatility with her attacks. Much like her father, though, she has a thing for blasting the enemy with overwhelming might, and she usually acts as the heavy artillery for the kids sent back from the past... a role that often surprises others, considering how young she is. But in a world like the one she came from, people didn't have time to be young...

Euphie isn't capable of manifesting a Persona, but her father was fused with his pretty much full-time when things got worse - including when she was conceived. This power has mixed with her demonic Atma strength and allowed her to manifest a small selection of additional powers... mostly because she thinks she can manifest them (the way her father does) and never realized that she couldn't.

Life Force Conversion: Euphie can double the power of her offensive magic at-will. However, she does this by literally using her life as fuel, and must pay 10% of her HP in order to use this power.
Variable Beam Cannon: Euphie didn't name it. Her primary attack, the VBC is capable of adjusting its output and inflicting anywhere from Low to Severe Nuclear Damage against one foe each time she fires it. It almost developed as an almighty power, but she changed it by sheer force of will in memory of her father.
Tactical Mastery: Once every three posts, Euphie can apply any normal debuff effect (Tarunda, Rakunda, or Sukunda) as an additional effect of her VBC when it's launched. The debuff takes effect after the damage part of the skill.

Bio: In the timeline into the future with the corruption, Surri was born to Rena Redeyan and Tezuka Rembrii.....Under the influence of outside forces. Her father never seemed to want to talk about the specifics. [or Rather, he couldn't remember], but her Mother didn't live long afterwards, vanishing shortly after she was born, and never returning. Though things seemed to really drop off for her, her Father did his best for her. Despite the spreading corruption, her father never gave up trying to protect her, and as the years went on, she grew up. In a broken home with only her father, but still grew up. As the others were born, she saw the various other families and their homes....Their siblings if they had any, and both their mothers and fathers, all of prestige, power, or other influence. And all with cool stories to tell. Wheras herself...
She was an accident, she knew...But her father did everything he could to bring her up with love...He worked hard to try to protect her, despite his less than impressive powers, and potential. Even as others died, he would keep fleeing with her, protecting her as long as he could, and trying to train her as well as he could with his limited powers. She tried to hide her envy for others...For their potiential, their prestige...and.....Their families.
One day though, he presented her with some of her Mother's things, and apologized. For being pathetic...Lame...and not living up to what he said she deserved as a dad. However, around this time, the corruption's gotten rather bad...And as she'd gone to someone else's house, she returned to see that her father was fighting off the corruption...None of the Cavalry around...No one to help..And without any impressive powers of her own, she couldn't help him. He directed her to pick up his things and move along, managing to coax out only a few sentences before he was overwhelmed, the last ones sticking with her the most.
"I love you."
As she fleed from her now literally broken home, she was told of a chance to fix things...Of their timeline to be fixed. If they could go into the past, then maybe...
She begged and pleaded to go with them, wanting to go back and change the future with everything she had, even lying about her abilities enough to get them to let her go. She wanted to make sure that none of the horrible things that happened would come to be...
Or at least...one of them in particular.

Personality: Dolus is bubbly and peppy, always with a curious eye, and a flair for the dramatic. While she tends to be a bit dense at times, she's always enthusiastic to help, and easily excitable. More than enough to make up for her father's lack.
Bio: Dolus was born to the Anti-shadow weapon WYNN, and the now infamous brother, Jo(shu). While she doesn't know the details (And her Father and mother were adamant in not talking on the matter), she knows that she was born to the two. While her parents were busy with things...He always found some time to spend with her. Despite all of the troubles and such...She found a way to always find the best in things. Even as the corruption came, and started to erode away society..She was always safe with her father and mother. For the longest time, they were on the move, her dad and mom moving with the times to try to keep up with their other friends, of 'The Resistance'. However, after a horrible loss...they joined up with the others proper, where she met the others. Aeon Clock, Kuzaku, Zaito, and the others. During this time-frame, she managed to squeak out some lessons from her Father in summoning, with some training from her Mother too. Eventually, she was gifted and trusted with a pair of demons to raise as her own, the newest troubles necessitating her to learn how to fight. However, one day, the corruption had spread further than they had anticipated...And while they were escaping, her Mother was lost to the Corrupted. Her Father gave her the last few lessons he could...before vanishing one night to try to stave off corrupted for them a lot later....Which he never returned from.
As things got worse, homes were but a memory..and as the world neared it's end, she was offered the chance, (with various others) to go back in time to try to prevent this future. She had squealed with delight, finding the whole idea amazing...Even with the risk of spreading the corruption with Aeon's friend, she was excited. They were going back in time!!!.

Personality: Her childish manner of dressing and the doll-like (albeit creepy) appearance can make people to lower their guards…or just plain run away from her. She is perky, or pretends to be, and can be considered imaginative and energetic, probably forcing herself to be as she was when she was younger. There’s something dangerous about her though…the aura almost palpable. Wild eyes and wide grin could make anybody pause…and if that wasn’t enough, the black substance oozing from arms and legs definitely makes most to stand back. Perhaps she acts that way to scare others away intentionally, afraid she might hurt them if she ever loses control. Or perhaps she’s just lost it already…
Such image changes when she wears her human disguise, being slightly more conservative in her ways, if only to pretend to be normal. There’s a part of her that only wishes for it…to return to those times when everything was easier. Despite it all, she is strong and won’t take crap from anybody, always keeping her chin up when the rest of the team keeps her at bay, treating her as a ticking bomb ready to go off. She is conscious of what is going on, and she wants to take part of the team…if only to keep her promise to her parents.
Bio:Narue was born to a big family. As the only heir of Seo Taihaku, she was pampered and spoiled as much as she could be in a world like the one they were living in. The clan doted on her, giving her lessons and teachings that perhaps were too early in her life. Time was crucial, though…even if Narue couldn’t understand what was going on outside of Kyushu in its entirety. Her father would leave frequently to protect their home from The Corruption, and return bloody and tired…always with a smile on his face each time she greeted him back with a hug. She never saw the bony hands, frail body and the pained expressions…only the warm smiles, the hand ruffling her hair and the loving words when he kissed her forehead. Each time he returned though, he was weaker, the use of his eye accelerating his illness, wasting him away. Her father started staying in bed for long periods of time, only to stand up once he could move, to lead the Family to protect the estate. Then…and only then, did Narue feel fear.

She was young…she can’t remember how young…when her father returned home, completely exhausted, for once telling her he felt tired and needed to lay down. She felt her heart sinking. The girl stayed with him, her mother right there beside him as well…when Lord Seo Taihaku passed away. He looked peaceful…and he hadn’t been alone. That night though, she cried.

Everything crumbled after that.

The family still fought with everything they had to protect their home, her mom included…only that, they weren’t invincible. Each day, they lost members of the family…once one of them returning with a scratch that hadn’t been noticed by the rest. He got infected…the Corruption ending them from the inside out. It was time to finally leave Kyushu and join the Resistance, they knew…and her mother set for two members of the family, Shiranui and Kappa, along with the former’s daughter, to escort her safely out of there. Narue was scared…confused…she didn’t want lose to her mother as well. And even despite Yasuko’s reassuring words that they’d meet afterwards…the girl knew this was a farewell. A kiss to both cheeks and a look that was way softer than the way her mother gazed at her…along with words she would never forget.

The Taihaku fought with everything they had, and many of them stayed behind to give them way out of the estate. It was Rorek who she saw last, blocking the way for the Corrupted to follow. She remembered his words until this very day: “Note this, Lady Narue…Your father will always be with you…So will I.” They were able to escape…but the girl didn’t see the rest of the family again…including her mother. It was said that the Lady Yasuko fought and protected the Lord’s grave and their home until her last breath…taking with her quite a few of the corrupted.
Life with the Resistance was very different from the one back home…and the girl had to grow up quickly if she wanted to survive. Not everything was bleak and lost…the girl meeting a few of the other kids that were staying there, becoming quite close to some of them…one of them, specially.
It didn’t last long, though.

The base got overrun after years of holding up…and in the fight, she got infected when she got in the way of an attack meant for her most important friend. If asked…she doesn’t know why she did it…but she is relieved to see he was at least well. The Corruption though…was worse than she could ever imagine. Even if, thanks to Aeon’s magic, the Corruption is kept under control, Narue is afraid of what she could do… losing control isn’t as farfetched as they could think. And each day…she feels herself wilting away, even if she might keep it to herself.

When the mission to return back in time was proposed, Narue was one of the first to jump into action, wanting to be part of it. To stop the corruption…to find a way to change the future that took away her parents…her life… Obviously, she was rejected into the mission, the risk too high. And it was Aeon that helped her ‘change’ the minds of the others…even if…it wasn’t the best way of doing it. Even so, she is completely thankful for his help…and she is ready to prove the others wrong…that she can contribute to the mission. And, even if this isn’t the case…she completely trusts Aeon to do his job…and seal her away if necessary.

Enemies cannot avoid a knockout via this skill, but may be revived by the usual means. Personality: As a child of the Shimazu Clan born during the dark days of the Corruption, he was raised under close guard and watch by all the surviving members of the Shimazu...each leaving a little piece of themselves within him, the future of their clan. From Zoro he inherited a severity in combat and a respect for the sword, the knowledge to raise it when necessary but also the deference to know when to avoid it. From Kenshi, he inherited a taste for childish things...the small, special appreciations that preserve the light within...like strawberry milk and sweets, of which he is very fond. From Mimel he learned what he could of the art of folding steel and forging demon's souls into weaponry, the last inheritor of the secrets of their clan...and for her he holds a deep, deferential respect for it is only due to her and the blacksmiths who came before that their clan could command the strength of their blades. From Botan Anna, he learned a relentless determination...to see a job done, to never give up or show mercy, until the fight is complete...to fight and claw and stand, even in the darkest of hours. From his mother, Tsukimi Tomiie...a normal girl who had been saved from the Corruption in its earliest stages by a handsome swordsman out of the blue...he learned more tricks of the forge, which she herself learned and developed working with Mimel, desperate to contribute to the cause in some way during the darkest days. He inherited her stoicism, her keen wit and intelligence, and her deep compassion for even the oddest of sorts. And from his father...well...from his father he learned a great many things, as Izuru blossomed in the Bad Future from which he had come into the immaculate swordsman that the present Shimazu always dreamed he could become. He learned how to fight, elegantly and smoothly, swift and deadly...and he learned how to value one's appearance, to be considerate in spite of a person's oddities...and he learned of love, plain and simple. It is something to which he greatly aspires...to fall in love, to contribute to the world...and to save it, along with his friends from the future. It is this vibrancy of character that makes him an almost-universally respected figure amongst the children of the Bad Future...and indispensable for his mastery of both forge and sword.

Bio: Born shortly after the beginning of the Great Corruption of Japan, when his father brought a woman he had saved from certain death into their home for protection and almost immediately fallen in love, it wasn't long after the country had begun its outbreak that he Shimazu found themselves entombed in their home province of Satsuma...and eventually a single city which they fought desperately to protect from the spreading infection. Since the days before the Warring States their clan had been the vanguard of justice in the country, defenders of Kyushu, and Satsuma had been their home...but as the years wore on and he began to grow older, raised in great care by a family that was increasingly-short on youth...they began to understand that even the might of the legendary swordsmen of Satsuma wouldn't be enough to stop the tide of darkness that swelled and crashed around them. One day, their defenses would break, but like the samurai of old, they would never surrender...never quit fighting...until the bitter end. And so they stood their ground in their home for years, warding away the Corrupted, walling off the streets, and using what little magic their family could gather from years of aiding the Yatagarasu, they did their best to keep it from infecting their home...

That was the sort of desperate world and situation into which he was born. That was all he knew, and yet, he was never unhappy or wanting. He did not despair, because in his world there existed a family that loved him, trained him, believed that he could be a new hope for their family if only they could hold out long enough for the Crows and the rumored Resistance to find the cure...the spell that would ward away the Corruption once and for all. He had his teachers, Zoro and Mimel, and he has his uncle and aunt Kenshi and Anna, and he had his family who loved him...even his Great Uncle Sieg lived for a while after the Fall, teaching him, shaping him into the powerful swordsman that he would one day become.

But in the end, their family could not endure...could not outlast the Corruption that was spreading to every corner of the world, that had dominated Japan for more than a decade now...and when the walls fell around their home city in Satsuma the time had come for them to fight to the end...to seal the walls or see themselves succumb at last to the darkness filling the world around them. Every Shimazu, down to the Sword Saint Mimel took up arms to fight against the Corrupted...and against all odds, the family managed to slay the devils within their gates and seal the wall against them once more. But the cost was immense...too immense, really, for their family to survive it. Mimel...Sieg...Kenshi...Anna...all four and many more were lost in the battle, and they were all far greater warriors than he was at the time. They had given their lives to preserve their home, but with their loss, the inevitable fate of the Shimazu was decided...between Izuru, Zoro, Tsukimi, and himself...they were all that remained of the once-proud clan. And when, not if, the walls would fall again...it would be the end of them, no matter how desperately they fought against it. And so it was decided...

...

Time passed as they planned, and an escape plan was devised: an explosive to detonate one side of the wall would lure the Corrupted to the entrance, allowing them to flood Satsuma...while the family quietly escaped via the Satsuma Port and made course for land...Port Island being their destination, the Supernatural Hotbed where it was said the Crows' Resistance remained active even until that day. It was a long shot, but if anyone could survive that long, it was those secretive Crows...they had to hope...they had to survive...

Two months after abandoning their homes, the family had made it to what was once the outskirts of Okina City. It was there that the Resistance found them, exhausted...but alive. Joining together with what remained of humanity in Japan, they lasted a while longer...he met the other children of the Age of Corruption, took to many of them in his own way. He fought beside them, forged bonds with them, and even made weapons for them...though many were lost in time, their whereabouts unknown to him until this day. His demon blades became a trademark of the Resistance, but even with all his skill passed down from his teachers, it wasn't enough...

The situation became increasingly hopeless, until at last one of the eldest of the Resistance proposed an escape...through the Akarana Corridor and into the past, into another world...another timeline which would branch from their own. If they could not save their own world, then they could at least save another...create a world in which everything wasn't black and sick and dying...that was a mission that most could get behind. Everyone but him...

...

He wanted to stay and fight, his desperation to stay with his family and keep them alive, what remained, rooting him to the world in which he was born. And yet they insisted that he went...begged him...but only with an appeal to reason did he finally relent and agree to go, heavy though the weight remained upon his heart. ...If ever their mission were to succeed, they were going to need him in the past. His weapons, his skills...his forge...he could find a shop, set up there...forge in his free time, fight when he needed to.

But his mind would always hold within a picture of the world they had lost...of the family that he had left behind. He could save this world, but that failure would always be a part of him...he'd never forget...and never cease to be grateful for this new world they had given him, even if it had been against his will...

Waves, Become My Shield - Drastically increases physical parameters, a colored shine washing over him for a moment as a visual cue. Amps accuracy, evasion, and defense for 5 turns. The color of the shine will indicate a single elemental resistance upgrading to 'Resist'. Red is fire, white is ice, green is wind, brown is earth, blue is water, gold is light, black is dark, and orange is electricity. Nuclear cannot be resisted as it is treated as an 'unnatural' element and his power draws upon the power of elemental nature.

Bio: Trip was born to Haoul Yamakaji, and Claire Ferris, after a night of passion, and the usual time period in between. As the Embryon were faced with the threat of the impeding corruption, lives were lost unceremoniously, trying to deal with the threat. His father managed to survive for a while mission after mission, occasionally stopping by the base to see him. As such, he was raised more by his petite mother, soon eclipsing her in height, and starting to come into his own powers. He wanted to fight alongside his father's side, but by the time he had developed and harnessed his Atma enough to do so, it was too late.
One day, as his squad returned to the base...Trip noticed they were short his captain. As his acting lieutenant at the time held out his demonic Claw, they broke the news to him.
They had been surrounded, and the corruption was spreading. They were out of options, and his dad had gone up in an immense blast of Flames... They couldn't find any trace of his body....only his ashes, and the Alchemist Claw that he wore. Trip was heartbroken...and soon after, they were forced to flee even the base, the corruption spreading more and more...His mother doing her best to protect him. Eventually, he joined up with the resistance, training up his Atma power, and trying to follow in his father's footsteps. The more the corruption spread, the more hopeless the scene became. As things got steadily worse and worse though, eventually it seemed it was all lost...
Until the resistance came up with a last ditch attempt to fix things. They were to head back in time, and try to prevent it from every happening. He volunteered for it, as one of the remnants of the Embryon, and because he wanted to meet his dad again. He wanted to fight by his side...And show him that he was a son to be proud of.

When the corruprion hit, both Yatso and Kin had taken refuge within the confines of Kyouji's manor with several others of the resistance. When Kyouji had died, Yatso was elected, though not officially, Kyouji Kuzunoha the XIth. With the struggles that came his new appointing, he had decided that they would regroup with the main resistance. At one point with the transfer, they were ambushed by the Corrupted. Daringly, Momoko's father and mother had put themselves into the danger to make sure the rest of them had survived, though wounded by the corrupted. When Momoko had made it to the main resistance, she put forth her best effort to the cause. And with the suggestion of them going back in time, she quietly agreed to help out.

Personality: Spiritual (surprisingly so for someone coming from such a dark future) and compassionate, Mashiro inherited his father's calm demeanor and his commitment to the oaths upon which his strength is built. He refuses to kill, and even views the need to kill the Corrupted as a failure to cure. His ability to mend nearly any wound, however, makes anything that he can't cure hit him extremely hard. He loves his family deeply, and cares for every single person who traveled back through time alongside him as friends and comrades. Despite his calm demeanor, he is a very stern touch when necessary...especially when it comes to his sister.
Bio: Born in the Bad Future from which all of the Travelers through the Corridor have come, Mashiro is the son of Munakata Kei and Kaori Sakurazaka, the rogue members of the Mori Shogunate's Human Weapons Unit. Living in hiding and seclusion when the Corruption began to take hold of Japan, they were amongst the last to realize that something was amiss in the world...but his parents were among those who fought the hardest against it. Unable to seek refuge with the government forces in Tokyo, and unaware of the Resistance put up by the Yatagarasu at first, they instead sought refuge in a deeper seclusion...retreating deep into the forests of Yakushima to protect themselves from the greatest of the Corrupted hordes. With each passing day, however, the attacks still came...sometimes in large numbers, sometimes in smaller ones...but with each attack his parents were forced to fight harder and harder, putting a remarkable strain on the psyche of his already-troubled father. With each Corrupted he put down, his inherent bloodlust grew stronger...deeper...and with every new weight upon his shoulders his connection to meditation and the spirits of Japan, the kami, grew stronger. It was this control, this deep spiritual oath his father had taken upon himself, that inspired Mashiro more than anything growing up...to be as forthright and controlled and...good...as his father strove to be in spite of all he was.

As he grew, Mashiro became deeply connected to the spirits...and he swore, like his father, that he would never kill another human being so long as he could help it. His path, instead, would be to heal...and as his parents trained and raised he and his twin sister to defend themselves in such a ruined world, he found that his knack for healing was remarkable...and it became the basis for his power, the mastery of string and the ability to mend became his calling cards. And he and his sister grew powerful, though as they grew they could see furthermore how strained and desperate their father was growing...how only his mother, his children, and the oaths that he swore upon his sword and the gods kept him tethered to his fraying humanity...

Every line that his father uttered, Mashiro memorized...every oath that they in-turn swore to comfort him, he and his sister remember to this day. Every conversation with his mother about his father...every movement in his perfectly-formed kata and every prayer to the spirits that he uttered to maintain his control, Mashiro remembered them all...but even then, when the day came that at last their home was overrun and they were forced to flee in search of aid, back to the mainland...

...When the day came that the Corrupted surrounding them became so numerous and deadly that even his parents, weapons molded by man to destroy any obstacle placed before them, could not proclaim a certain victory...

His father asked him to remember one last oath, both he and his sister, and to engrave it upon their hearts until the day they met again. And then they asked he and his sister to flee...promising that if they should live that they would all meet up again.

He never saw his parents again...but to remember their oath, both he and his sister had the last words of his father and mother placed upon their skin...on her arm, on his back.

They joined with the Resistance soon after, picked up after his sister rescued a wounded Resistance member and he tried his best to save him. Their joining was met with a few questions, not all of them answered...but their skills were invaluable enough that they were permitted to join anyway. Mashiro made friends as best he could, though his spirituality was often met with questioning glances from those who had already given up on the existence of things like gods...or divine will. But he was hardly deterred, and his promise never to let any one of them die if he could help it endeared him to his new comrades, his new friends...he continued to serve as best he could until the last days of the Resistance, when the desperation plan to send them back in time became a reality and his healing skills were deemed quite useful to the cause. He vocally resisted the inclusion of Narue in the expedition, his medical knowledge not exactly necessary to point out the risks inherent...but once the decision was made he listened to a tiny part of him that wanted to prove that he COULD still save her, that he wanted the chance to try...and so he went along with it, bad idea though it might have been.

Both he and his sister would venture into the past together...to right what went wrong...and if they were lucky enough to find them...perhaps to see their parents one last time...

Master of String
A technique also known as the 'Ultimate Mend', Mashiro's skill with needle and thread has been honed to an impossibly skillful level, as has a compassion that fuels him. His hands are capable of emitting a naturally healing warmth and energy which, when combined with the mending of his needle and thread, produce a natural anesthetic with mild healing properties...a solution only possible as a result of his absolute desire to mend the tears in people, in things, and in the world. And after applying this solution, his skill with thread comes into play...mending, sewing, binding wounds and tears and nearly anything together with threads coated in the same healing chemical, with glue (occasionally), or other substances which might promote reparation of that which has been broken. In a matter of moments he can mend and heal a minor wound, bind together the pieces of a broken chair, and in a matter of minutes he can mend serious injuries and fix a wall which has been shattered near beyond-recognition. Given an hour...days...even wounds which might have otherwise been fatal or crippling and items/armor/weapons shattered otherwise beyond repair might be overcome, though if a wound's level of fatality occurs more rapidly than it can be bound with the 'Ultimate Mend', then it is still quite possible for someone to die. And no matter how hard he concentrates, nothing he could produce could counteract the Corruption. An ability comprised of skill this fine, of course, is just as easily weaponized as it is used for healing. Super-sharp wire traps, incredibly solid wire traps, and piercing, poisoned needles launched with blinding speed or wielded between the fingers with deadly precision are all well within his capabilities...though more often than not, he will always prefer healing to killing...
[Superhuman control of needles/thread for binding traps (used in counters or set ahead of time), poisoning enemies (50% odds of poison on poison needles, 1/3 odds of Berserk on Berserk needles, 1/5 odds of KO on death needles, can only use one type of needle per-turn), damaging enemies (all attacks High Critical Odds).
