"Tastes good?"
"...." Chini just looked up. Dumbfounded to even get asked a question while eating. It just wasn't heard of. "Good, ....I guess." Ears going down as she lifted her head and simply looked at her. "Whats your deal."
Tas looked up, and tilted her head, swallowing. "What do you mean?"
“I mean, you share food- your acting like I am some friend or a charity case. What are you trying to accomplish here.”
Tas slowly lifted her body to a sit, her posture beautifully curved. “If it is kindness you do not understand. Then maybe it’s time to be taught it. I saw you lying on the ground, almost if not completely lost in yourself. I know the look of the lost, and you were it.” She got serious in her tone. “You are not a charity case, neither am I trying to win you over. I am simply being who I am- and I hope to be the embodiment of kindness. It is not you who asked the world, ‘You want to matter’- well you matter to me right now. Your hunger matters to me, I may not know you but you matter. So I treat you like you do. Now, -“ She paused and composed herself a little more than she had. “If you want to matter. Then make yourself matter. You have a purpose.” Softly she extended her paw and as soon as her pads just grazed the top of the other’s paw… She saw a cub.

Another cheetah, female. The day was bright and when she was encountered with more cheetahs- the cheetah before her simply stood there. Cub in mid walk before snatching it up and giving it away….

Her eyes had stared, and as soon as she was about to see the next scene, the other pulled her paw away. ”What in the world.” Having not encountered a seer before. Tasnim just looked down… her face troubled as she looked away. Why would anyone just give their babies away. It looked as though she had no remorse for handing the cub over. Her ears went back, was it right to have helped her- to aid her. Yes. It was. Kindness knew no bounds. ”You are important… and soon you will make a very important decision. But you do matter. I… have a feeling.”

”What exactly did you just do there- your eyes just completely stared in to me, as if… it was starring in to my soul. Your paw even went cold. What just happened.” She demanded looking rather upset about the whole thing.

Tas looked up at her. ”I saw something. “ Not many knew she was a seer and that through her veins ran the blood of a goddess. A very destructive one. ”I am a seer.” Putting it simply. ”I can see through the future and at times even get strong compelling feelings of things said. When I ‘blank out’ so to speak, I go in to the sight.”

The other looked at her… then started to laugh. ”Ah that’s crazy. Now I’m eating with a crazy animal. GREEEATTTTT one.” Shaking her head as she took another bite of meat, as she tried to swallow she just began to laugh again. ”What just- just humor me. Exactly what DID you see- a husband- children- a pride to myself. Please.” As if to mock the queen to her face and she was no one to be mocked.

The Queen had powers, beyond these, they were even debilitating. Sometimes causing her whole body to collapse. Yet now, she met a non believer and for the life of her never knew of one that did not believe in seers, and laughed at them no less. They would, in fact- ask more and more questions, seek out truths but this cheetah was simply laughing at the whole idea. Her ears went back and her face became more serious, even a hint of anger.

”I saw you giving up your cub.” The tone literately so serious, that it could be felt like a dagger. When she spoke, most would stop to listen, it was the air about her that got Chini to stop laughing and pay attention. ”Whether you believe or not, is not my problem. I am simply a messenger, but to laugh means you’re scared. And to fear means ignorance. If you do not think you matter, maybe thinking that in the future you will matter to someone. A cub is a life, that you could touch- and you will matter to it with the ends of it’s very heart strings and the duty of a mother, in itself- is the biggest purpose a female can give to the earth. And helping definitely helps with finding purpose- as it is the most gratifying feeling in the world. So to say you mean nothing- is simply closing your eyes and denying what the truth really is, maybe you have no purpose today but maybe tomorrow- somewhere- someone , will find what you are- what you do – can change their lives forever. To deny them that seems nearly selfish.”

Her ears could not believe, she this cheetah spoke, she spoke with dedication, feeling and ultimately the rapture of involving you within every word. What she said, nearly stunned Chini’s insides. But still the hard shell she created held it, but she could feel the cracks from the words as they seeped in to her very core.

”Even from the food we eat, it is all apart of the cycle. So if you want to broaden your eyes- think, Maybe you ended the life of a gazelle who was broken hearted. Or suffering. It is the cycle so we all are also kept in check. The number of cheetahs in the area compared to how many waterbucks there are. If there were no cheetahs, there would be too many prey animals roaming, and all of the forests would be gone. These are things in the bigger picture and that sometimes you may seem so small, but your purpose is rather big, bigger than what you could imagen….”

The cheetah looked away. Thinking on what the other was saying, repeating the most important parts over and over in her head before she started to eat while she spoke. Careful to not make more noise than the level the other cheetah was talking in. What she said… made sense. Something she didn’t think of while in pure darkness. It seemed, nothing mattered- there was no feeling but lonliness… If she was right. If she had a cub… would this change her outlook. Maybe the reason her sister clung to happiness, was because of the baby, no… she had always been happy go lucky. When … Did Chini remember … being happy because she was just simply...happy?
