First the Mods and myself would like to start off by welcoming you to or back to Days of Destruction and also congratulate you on choosing a guild that is built to eliminate Goding and Powerplaying characters. We also support character development and respect those who put in the time and effort to go through it. That is why we have created this system to make the guild run smoother for everyone. We have created this detailed leveling system to help you track the evolution of your character, and for you to have rewards for actually rping, as well as improve your character. Though this might most likely be confusing at first, our stat system should be fairly easy to pick up on. It requires very basic math skills, and actually reading the systems. We recommend that you actually read everything here before moving onward to creating your character. For once you understand how the stats work you will understand how to build your character.
Your stats determine how fast, strong, durable, and even how high you can jump. To raise your stats, you must obtain skill points to add onto your character. Skill points can be obtained by posting in the rp by either: training, sparing, fighting enemies, or defeating demons or humans during invasions or attacks. For every 200 word post you will obtain 1 skill point which you can use for a single parameter or multiple depending on your method of upgrading your parameters or skills. The more words or post you make will increase the number of skill points you obtain to upgrade your characters skills and make them into a stronger warrior.
Now there are two different types of stats that can be increased. First we have the Parameters, which are the basic and main stats of a character that tell us the physical limits of your character in terms of spiritual energy your character has in order to release Qi based skills (ex. Fatal Verses, Familiars, Demonic Powers, etc.) as well as basic skills such as their intelligence level, physical strength, and physical speed. These Parameter stats are maxed out at 2,000 points for each stat; giving your parameters a max total of 10,000 points, excluding the Qi Stat.
Next we have Skills. Skills tell us your mastery level within different elements of your character which as an example one can look at two fatal verses spells being used against one another and one completely destroys the other due to the higher level in skill in fatal verse by one of the users compared to another. The stats in your skills also can have a negative outlook on characters as well, due to some skills cannot be achieved without mastering another or obtaining a certain skill level within two or more skills.

The Parameters
Physical Strength: This stat is basically your character’s physical fitness. It determines all the basic skills needed for anyone to fight as well as their physical raw power in terms of strength.
Defense: Perhaps better described as durability, defense is an individual’s ability to resist damage and various effects. One’s ability to AVOID damage is based on a myriad of factors which don’t really have anything to do with Defense (mostly being a mixture of roleplay, skills, and technical tactical choices.) The chart below displays the general level of damage one takes based on the opponent’s damage stat (that being registered under the stats under their skills) compared to the recipient’s defense.
Mobility: This is the physical speed of your character without the use of any spiritual energy (Qi) (ex. Using Qi to jump start one’s speed). This would be the ability to dodge, chase, or track down an opponent attacks accordingly to the strength, size, and speed of the opponent. The number here can either help your character dodge an attack completely or help an opponent remove a body part from your character. During battle this stat decreases, in a way it works as the stamina of your character. So when your character uses skills that increase their speed or cause them to dodge, this stat will decrease even faster. This stat tells us how many post your character can battle before they have to take a break and recover. With each post your character moves or attacks this stat will decrease by one unless they use a skill or technique that states otherwise which will cause them to use more energy.
Qi: This is a character’s inner power, their ability to channel energy and cast ‘magical’ type effects. Qi determines the amount of times or level of Fatal Verse, Demonic Power, Familiars, etc. one can use. This stat decreases during battle, the more one uses their energy to perform energy based skills; these skills are not limited to offensive based magic but is not limited to them either. Skills such as summoning a familiar or using a demon weapon are also included in this (read the information on your race during your character creation to understand more on this). Qi is also the only stat that cannot be updated with using Skill Points (Stat Points), it's updated with the number of words, you post. Meaning if you choose to update your Qi for your character, this is the only stat you will be allowed to update for that update. You will have to use all the words (points) for that update in order to update your Qi. Qi is the only stat that will increase rapidly above the 2,000 mark.
Intelligence: This is obvious, but also includes how well you can handle situations, deal with problems, work out plans, create strategies, and find opponent weak points in their fighting patterns, identify demons, identify medicines, poisons, etc. Skills and Traits The Skill System is a tool for further character customization and for expressing one’s strengths and weaknesses. On the chart for stat comparisons, one’s capability in combat with their skills functions in a similar manner. When two equivalent skills clash, each difference in rank is treated as one more notch up the chart. This sort of comparison is used for clashes of skill/power, attack and ripostes, etc.
Skills are like Parameters which means they have to be upgraded to insure your character’s strength within certain subjects. The skills of each race is what makes them supernatural while if we eliminated the supernatural function of Ao no Exorcist and left only Parameters, we would be left with the fact everyone would be ordinary humans without any magical skills just as they are in reality. So updating your skills are just as important as updating your Parameters.
Weapon Arts: Is how skillful one is with a weapon, typically this is used by Knights to ensure their skill with a sword, and their knowledge about them. Although swords aren't the only weapons in the worlds, and with that being said, others are able to become proficient or even masters of weapon skills.
Martial Arts: Is how skillful one is with hand-to-hand combat, typically this is used by Fighters to ensure their skills with close combat, but it's possible to become skillful in some basic martial arts even if one isn't a Fighter.
Accuracy: Is how accurate you are with your weapon, long range or melee this determines how well you can strike. This also allows one to figure out who wins in a clash of strength when two clash with attacks. The one with a higher Accuracy will overall win the clash.
Fatal Verses: This stat is known for the Holy Spells used by Exorcist against specific demons. It is a form of combat based on advanced spellcasting. These spells are produced with strong Qi and falling into two categories: Biblical Verse for direct attacks and Buddhist Sutra for battle support. Fatal Verse are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without using the full incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell will be diminished. In terms of Demons, this Stat will work as one's defense against Fatal Verses. If a demon has a higher Fatal Verse parameter than the Aria using the Fatal Verse, the demon will be resistant to the effects or the facts will be nullified completely. This works the same for Qi based attacks that Aria use. The Fatal Verse parameter reflects the Quality or strength behind the attack. The higher this parameter is, the stronger the user's Qi based combat skills are. Making even the simplest attack greater in strength than the original strength.
Demonic Control: Demonic Control is a stat that is typically used by Demons and Tamers, this stat will show the skill level of a tamer or the level of control a demon has over a specific demons of their kind. In terms of Tamers, this is very important, due to their demons will not respect them or will not obey them. If a Tamer attempts to control a demon that requires a higher stat level within this field, they may sometimes attack the tamer or they will not obey the given order. In a way this is the will level of the tamer. It doesn’t diminish in battle, but does put a limit on the skill level of their familiars which will require the Tamer to train harder and longer on increasing their skills to taming the demon. In terms of demons this stat allows demons to command other demons that is within the same classification of them in terms of their Kin. If the demon is weaker they can command the demon to do what they want by striking fear into the demon.
Demonic Aura (Demons Only): A Demon’s Aura is the source of their power, the higher the demonic power, the stronger their attacks are. The Qi of the demon may be the quantity but the Demonic Aura is the quality of the attack. The higher this stat is the stronger the demon’s attacks will be when they use Qi. 200 Words = 1 Stat Point --------------------------- 400 Words = 2 Stat Points
600 Words = 4 Stat Points --------------------------- 800 Words = 6 Stat Points
1,000 Words = 8 Stat Points --------------------------- 1,200 Words = 10 Stat Points 1,400 Words = 12 Stat Points --------------------------- 1,600 Words = 14 Stat Points
1,800 Words = 16 Stat Points --------------------------- 2,000 Words = 18 Stat Points
2,200 Words = 20 Stat Points --------------------------- 2,400 Words = 22 Stat Points
2,600 Words = 24 Stat Points --------------------------- 2,800 Words = 26 Stat Points
3,000 Words = 28 Stat Points --------------------------- 3,200 Words = 30 Stat Points
3,400 Words = 32 Stat Points --------------------------- 3,600 Words = 34 Stat Points
3,800 Words = 36 Stat Points ---------------------------4,000 Words = 38 Stat Points
4,200 Words = 40 Stat Points --------------------------- 4,400 Words = 42 Stat Points

Qigong System
Qigong is the power source used to actualize the mysteries of Fatal Verses and Demonic Magic. Qigong, Magical Energy, powers all supernatural abilities, and it can be analogous to gasoline. There have been many names for it, that in the atmosphere being called Mana in approximately the same as that in Polynesian culture. It cannont exist independently or do anything by itself, so is always bound to some sort of recipient. For that reason, the Exorcist use it mostly by imbedding it into an object or as a catalyst to initiate nature interference Fatal Verse.
Qigong is divided into two types, and there is a vast difference between the permeated the natural environment and that generated by an individual.
Mana is the life force of the planet and exists in the atmosphere. It is produced by the world itself. While Mana is usually found in great quantities, it takes a long time to replenish once it is used up. It is the primary source of energy for Nature Spirits.
Qi is the energy found within living organisms such as humans, animals, plants, and even demons. Once depleted, the Qi stored in the soul will begin to replenish it. Qi is produced as long as one lives, but the amount a person can store varies from individual to individual. The difference between Mana and Qi is their abundance. Mana can be found almost anywhere and in great quantities, thus is called the Greater Source by the Exorcist. As Qi is the energy inside of humans and demons, it is much smaller in amount and is called the Lesser Source. Strictly speaking, Mana and Qi are energy in its raw state, while Qigong is the name given to the energy once it is converted by the user. Mana can be taken in accordingly with the capacities of the host, but the actual conversion process will take time.
Regarding nature interference Qigong mentioned before, at least for those of large-scale, activation requires the use of Mana regardless of the amount of Qi the user has. In fact, it is common practice among the Exorcist to start up their Fatal Verses with Qi and then keep them running with Mana. Only small-scaled spells do not interact with the environment directly are performed entirely with Qi, and example of which would be barrier creation. Qigong itself does not have any elemental attribute. However, once invoked under specific verse that does have said attribute or that is under the influence of nature spirits, it will attune itself to the element in question until the moment that is released.
The magic energy itself is held only inside the body fundamentally and if released into the outer world, it will return to life force and be scattered into the Greater Source. This has also been expressed as “evaporation”. Qi is prone to merge with the fluids (such as blood, semen, saliva) of the user, and these fluids are good at holding in magic energy for some time even after leaving the body. Because of this, by drinking the blood of another person or demon can replenish one’s Qi.
Recovering Qi & Mobility When we attack using specialized skills that use Qi even if its something as simple as using your Qi to create a barrier it takes energy away from you. Recovering from using your energy in combat is extremely easy and you can regain points in mobility at the same time. Regaining your stamina or better known as Mobility here, is extremely simple yet it can take a bit of time because you can’t attack when you are recovering for mobility. But depending on the Realm you are in the faster your recovery time is as well as for the race of your character. Below is a chart that does not include any abilities of races that may make regaining Qi faster. This is just a list in which states how long it would take per post without the help of any skills or traits.
Assiah Humans are able to recover 500 Qi and 11 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. On holy ground such as temples and churches the number of Qi increases to 1,500 and mobility increases to 15. Half-Demons are able to recover 1,000 Qi and 13 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Iblis) are able to recover 1,300 Qi and 10 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Astaroth) are able to recover 1,400 Qi and 13 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Amaimon) are able to recover 2,000 Qi and 20 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Egyn) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 15 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Anyanka) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 10 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending.
Gehenna Human are able to recover 300 Qi and 5 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Half-Demons are able to recover 500 Qi and 10 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Iblis) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 15 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Astaroth) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 15 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Amaimon) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 10 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Egyn) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 15 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending. Demons (Kin of Anyanka) are able to recover 1,500 Qi and 15 Mobility Point during battles when they are not in motion, attacking, or defending.

Comparison Tiers These tiers are used to give a general guideline of how your stat will interact with an opponent’s stat is combat. Furthermore, they are quite valuable for technique design for effect-based techniques, and for designating what tiers of comparisons create which effects.
Tier: Equivalent Stat Difference: – 19 <-----------------> + 19 Description: The two parties are within 20 stat points of each other, and for practical purposes may as well be the same. Meaning the skill level is not too different which makes them practically equal.
Tier: Advantage Stat Difference: + 20 <-----------------> + 49 Description: The higher stat individual has an ‘Advantage’, with a decent edge over his adversary. Superior tactics and skillful technique usage are even more important to the underdog here. Facing this difference head-on is foolish, though there is a small chance of success.
Tier: Superiority Stat Difference: + 50 <-----------------> + 99 Description: The higher individual has ‘Superiority’, with a large edge over his adversary. Superior tactics and skillful technique usage are crucial to the underdog here, who for practical purposes, is basically climbing a cliff. Facing this difference or higher head-on is virtually suicide.
Tier: Dominance Stat Difference: + 100 <-----------------> Up Description: The higher individual has ‘Dominance’, and in most cases will utterly destroy his opponent unless the underdog is able to exploit a major weakness in his opponent’s abilities. To continue the climbing analogy, this is like climbing an inverted cliff (in which the climber is partly upside down.) Theoretically possible to overcome, but borderline impossible.
