Takibi walked peacefully along the pride border. It was a good day. The sun was shining, and a slight ocean breeze ran through the lion's thick mane. It wasn't technically his job to patrol- as far as he knew at least- but it had just seemed like a good day to do so. It wasn't like he really had anything else to do anyway. He slowly got lost in thought, his paws simply moving on their own, thinking more then patrolling.

The large lion's thoughts were disrupted when he noticed some thing small in the distance. "What, is that?" He asked, uncertain of what to do. Whatever it was it didn't look threatening, but it appeared to be coming closer. Finally, Takibi decided to go meet it- whatever it was. Fir all he knew it could just be a big leaf or his mind playing tricks on him. Still, he hoped whatever it was didn't disrupt the peaceful morning.

As Takibi got closer, he realized that his eyes hadn't been tricking him, there was a little creature traveling. Although, as he got closer it seemed to stop. It was a cute little creature- words the thought but would probably never utter- and it reminded him a bit of a hyena, bit something was different about it. He figured he should probably know what it was, as his pride was very welcoming, but it escaped him.

As he got even closer he noticed the little thing look a bit panicked. He also noticed that it appeared to be very young. It had probably just strayed to far from its pack. Although, he hadn't seen any nearby that day, maybe it was just lost. He was rather certain he would recognize it if it belonged in his pride. "Hey little guy er... Girl? Uh... Anyway, are you lost? Are you OK?" He said, sitting down a decent distance from her, so that they could have s conversation, but she could hopefully be comfortable to.

Takibi looked down at the little creature, smiling as she corrected him "Oh! Alright then, I'm sorry." He with a nod, glad that she didn't seem too upset with him. He realized it was probably mostly his error since he clumsily spoke, and had no problem apologizing for it.

He couldn't help but think that it wasn't quite right for a creature so small and young to be out all alone. He felt a bit sad for the little girl, and was about to ask why it was that she was all alone, but couldn't contain a slight chuckle at her question. "No, dear, I don't believe lions usually hunt your kind unless the hunt is going bad. Don't worry." He wasn't quite sure she was a predictor, but her build suggested it. Plus, she just... Didn't seem appetizing to him. Which was an odd way to gage it, but a way.

After he stopped chuckling, Takibi could help but ask, "So, why are you out her alone? If you don't mind me asking."
