She thought adjusting to the basement would be hard, and she had yet to meet more residents beyond Milo, though she was still unclear of that one. Her room was dark, and it scared her. Even with the small runic lantern from when she came in, she was still terrified of the shadows that would pop out.
Wrapped in one of the thinner blankets, and the totem form of her weapon hanging down her chest, Noemi went to find more light. Of course instead of heading to the stairs, she headed the opposite way until she saw a thin glow under one of the doors. Was it a resident? A enemy?
She hesitated outside of the door before knocking on it.
"Excuse! is there anyone there?"

The light beneath the door vanished when she knocked. The blue light was replaced by a soft red light as the room's occupant shuffled beyond the doorway. The door groaned as it was pulled open, weapon raised so that the light of the runes would somewhat illuminate her. "Yeah? What do you want?"

Noemi didn't expect an answer...okay she did but not a human one. So having a human one made her react a bit differently then she would've for non human one.
Which was to start her sentence with-
"Ah Sorry! Sorry, I just-" She fumbled, trying to discern identity with the light and realizing that his weapon was summoned and oh god did she find a crazy one. "I am no enemy so...!" She drew her blanket tighter, "I just moved here and was...your room was glowing and...."
"I am so sorry to disturb you...." Okay she stood there awkwardly now.

The weapon was the only source of light near his room. It was any wonder that it was quiet -- any other time of day usually had his neighbor blasting or singing angsty teen metal music acapella style. He leaned against the stone doorway to his room, eyebrow arched. "What of it?" He rolled his eyes as he added, "If you haven't noticed, there isn't any sort of light down here." He shook his weapon for emphasis. "So? What're you doing up in the middle of the night? If it is night," he added, frowning as he reached for his phone. He held the screen away from him as he flicked it on, turning it around to squint at it in order to make out the time. As the light flickered on, for a brief moment it looked like there were several other people in the room behind him.

"Ah it is night, Si!" She nodded, "I have noticed! It is hard to sleep when there is no light, Plagued by the nightmares from before si?" She blinked as his phone light came on, lighting his face up and the ones behind him.
"You have friends over! Now I am doubly sorry for disturbing you!" She didn't want to peek but she was so curious. "Uh, My name is Noemi, I am a neighbor from 07." A hand peeked out of under her blanket for him to shake.
"Should I leave you...?" She still really wanted to know about that light source though.

"You have nightmares? Sorry to hear about that," He replied awkwardly, failing to mention that he also had them once. His dreams had been unfortunately replaced by something far more sinister since arriving on the island. Her apologies drew a long stare from him as he turned back towards his room, shining the bright light of his phone. The harsh blue light revealed several life-sized dolls posed as if they were having a tea party. "Nah. Just my roommates," he explained with a shrug. "They're not going anywhere." The phone was turned off and shoved into a pocket, freeing his hand to shake her offered one. "M'names Tobias. You're at room 49. One of these rooms around here's a giant pit though, so if you go exploring bring a light."

"Ah, It's okay. I use to live on a farm very much country. We didn't have a lot of people around besides my parents and me..." Wow she was sure talking about herself a lot, with a stranger. "I came to battle those nightmares so...it is okay." She nodded.
The phone drew away, then lit upon rows and faces of dolls and had her eyes widening as large as they could. "¡Ah mi Dios!" She gasped and leaned into his room because they were DOLLS. How was that not totally creepy and subject of it's own nightmares.
Mel offered, equally curious about Tobias choice of roommates.
"Giant pit?" She squeaked, leaning back. "It is not safe down here??"

The dolls in question were quite life-like. Each seemed to have their own distinct style, the only thing shared across them were the pristine hunter coats each of them wore. Before the light drew away, one of the dolls could be seen positioned in a somewhat flirtatious way upon the lap of another doll, thus freeing up space. The empty spot had a large book in front of it, presumably where Tobias was seated moments earlier. "Yeah, a giant pit." Tobias shrugged. "It makes a handy place to throw garbage down into, 'sept it rained horribly not too long ago. I had skeleton bits floating up and into my room while it rained. It sucked." "By the way," He added, "You got anything interesting in your room? Or nearby?"

Her eyes couldn't open anymore in shock then they already were. The dolls did look like so real, she even barely noticed the one that was positioned on another's lap. It seemed almost...Well it would be funny if she didn't feel like she was being watched.
And those kind of actions kind of made her more anxious then she already was.
"A giant pit." she whispered again, oh god and it was flooded. She felt a little bit faint, it flooded and..."Skeletons..." Lord Jesus have mercy on their souls. She was living in a burial ground.
"Ah..." She was paling considerably the longer he spoke. "I have no skeletons!" She jumped, "Just old boxes, I haven't opened them yet...." They were actually pushed into the corner of her room. "do you think..."
There couldn't be skeletons in boxes.

"Yeah. It was gross." Tobias made a face, adding, "I had to hunt in my room and pick them up piece by piece before I could chuck'em back down there. Dunno what else to do with them and a ghost hasn't come by to haunt me since. 'Less you count those guys," he gestured vaguely back to the room towards the dolls, now lost in the darkness. The mention of boxes brought a thoughtful look to his face. Or what part could be seen from the faint red glow of his weapon. "You should probably get a light of some kind when you open them," he suggested unhelpfully, "Otherwise there could be just about anything in there."

"You had to touch them!?!?" She squeaked again, covering her hand over her mouth in fear well...Such unrest for the dead.
"Oh por favor Dios, no me digas estas cosas, no creo que yo puedo manejar esto, quizá necesite consultar madre María y nuestro Señor para la protección..." She muttered in spanish...
A tiny hand went to grip on any part of his shirt...
"Will you help me?" She didn't want to cry but she didn't want to go to a room full of skeletons in boxes. "At least check the boxes? I don't have light."

"Not with my bare hands!" Tobias protested, "I wore an old sock on each hand first." At the very least, it was something. As she clutched at his shirt, his first instinct was to take a step back and stare down at her in surprise. "Hey, hey! Let's not get so grabby. You sure you wanna open a weird box in the middle of the night?"

Noemi blesses you Tobias for not touching dead human remains with your bare hands and instead with socks.
"Ah sorry I just..." She clutched the hand back to her, she would not show how much it shook. "I left my farm, it was the only home I knew to come here. To fight nightmares. I am not strong enough to face them now though..." She stuttered a bit. "I would feel better knowing someone else is there to see if it is another nightmare....I would face it better."
She nodded. Mostly because it was the first time she had known any others that knew of the things that went bump in the night. At her home on the farm, isolated from others her age and from people who could understand her. She couldn't even tell her parents either.
"I...I understand if you don't want too...." She broke out again, "We're practically strangers and I am intruding at such a hour and I'm sorry..."

A long, drawn out sigh came from Tobias as he turned and went back into his room. The weapon was set on the table, illuminating a tea pot and an empty vase. The trainee seemed to shuffle around for a bit, retrieving his boots and putting them on before at last grabbing his coat. He had yet to face an actual non-human creature, however given the circumstances. "All right," he grumped as he moved out of his room with his weapon in hand. "Lead on. Might as well take care of this box so you don't have to sleep in the same room as it, yeah? Which did you say your room was again?"

She was deeply shamed that she had caused such a inconvenience for the other hunter...Tobias and was yet, deeply grateful. Her father would often sigh at her, and lead her out in the dark when it was morning chores and such. She would think of a way to payback Tobias. Perhaps cook him some of her mother's dishes.
"You are too kind." She let out a small shaky breath, "Bless you Tobias. It is this way!" She curled the blanket around her and led him to her room. In one corner was her small...very small bed set up with the small lantern. It lit the room very dimly, enough to make out shapes and that was it.
"It is there..." She pointed the corner and admittedly took a position BEHIND the taller male. "Do you think....?" She whispered again, waving to it...
