Thread for RP I am doing elsewhere with an online friend, ShadowXM1. I hate how yahoo saves all our text into a big blob so I'll be re-posting our replies here (similar to what I did with Summoner's Game with SD).
Tomb Raider/Explorer: Molly Justice (played by me) Ancient Warrior: Torrin Hammerfall (played by ShadowXM1)
Hidden in the spoiler is some of the more important info for the RP that I was able to pull from our blob. More for me to refer back too but you are welcome to read it.

Preceded by a rain of small handful of rocks and pebbles, Molly Justice wriggled her lithe body through yet another crevice that pocketed this cave system. She always enjoyed the physical challenge that came with her job, weather it be dodging bullets of pissed off clients or crawling through an unexplored tomb. Pausing to inspect the scrap of leather that was her map, Molly cursed loudly as her headlamp flickered and died. "Perhaps I've been down here longer than I thought," she muttered, removing her backpack to retrieve her backup light.
Suddenly the natural silence of the cave was shattered as with a lurching groan the earth beneath her feet heaved and shifted. Of all the places to be during an earthquake! She thought, forsaking her backpack in favor of bracing herself. After a few minutes the ground settled and Molly let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. "Now where were we..." Reaching for the spot she left her backpack, Molly gasped as her hand closed around nothing. Just as she was about to panic she noticed a dull light about fifteen feet to her left. During the quake her pack had found a ledge and rolled away, luckily enough turning on the flashlight within in the process.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Molly carefully shuffled to her bag and armed herself with the fresh light source. Reunited with her survival gear the tomb raider took in her new surroundings. To her shock she discovered a small canyon that hadn't been there before the quake. Steeling her resolve, Molly strode into the opening. More surprising than its discovery, Molly found herself in a cavern of worked stone. Stone, that upon closer inspection, was found to be engraved with ancient runes.
Perhaps the quake connected me to another cave system, She thought wandering deeper into the mysterious cave. It wasn't long before she found massive stone sarcophagus in an adjoined room. "Finally! Paydirt..." Pulling out her trusty crowbar, Molly began to lever open the leftmost tomb. With a great deal of leverage and effort, the lid was soon removed. And for the third time this hour, she was surprised at her find.
Within the tomb lay...

...two coffin-sized cases of metal; on each corner a small pillar of crystal was connected to it; one had seen better days as fallen rocks that had given way years ago had smashed the crystals and shattered the inner lid. The second one, however, looked as though it was in perfect condition with the crystals still glowing and a deep thrumming sound emanating from it, but that wasn't the half of the surprise. Both cases had transparent glass like tops; the destroyed one held a petite skeleton and rags of clothing. Looking at the contours and size of the bone structure it was easy to see the former occupant had been female a tainted amulet around the neckbone; clearly a symbol of power.
In the intact one however, was a tall athletically muscular human male clad only in a pair of silvery briefs; a perfectly handsome face looking as if it had been sculpted out of marble. And a crown of long light brown hair. To a simple observer it would appear that he was dead.....when in fact he was actually in suspended animation; but there was no advanced technology keeping him this way; this was an old cavern. Looking closer there was another amulet around his neck which was thrumming with power and light, like the crystal pillars around the coffin. She wasn't sure what was going on here, but this definitely wasn't what she had been expecting when she went looking for this place.

"Dafaq did I just find..." Molly muttered to herself.
Climbing atop the strange coffin, she began searching for a trigger that would hopefully release the man within. All the while searching her mind wandered the possibilities of could have placed this man here. Was it Aliens? Was he a time traveler? There were hundreds of such questions buzzing around in her head.
Pressing her face to the glass she contemplated just attacking the barrier with her crowbar. The man had survived this long, surely he could survive a little bit of glass...
"Open Sesame?"

The coffin shone with a blue aura as she placed her face close to the glass like top and a display of mystical blue tendrils surrounded her causing her to glow a pink aura. This seemed to last forever almost, but suddenly it stopped and, before she knew it, there was no glass top! She suddenly found herself on top of the muscular human titan. Little did she know that the crystals surrounding the coffin were dimming even though the pendant around his neck still glowed a deep blue.

"Well s**t. Thats a first..." Molly commented, sitting up atop the man's chest.
Tracing a finger across his chest muscles, she giggled to herself. "Jebus you're a big one..." At just over 5' 8" herself, the man in the coffin had to be at least 6 and half feet tall. "Lets have a looksie at that there necklace of yours..." Reaching out, Molly carefully began to remove it from the man's neck.

Upon touching the amulet a surge of power shocks her and suddenly steel fingers grab her wrist tightly as the male opens his eyes, which are a granite grey and grabbing her around her waist, easily hoists her up without any trouble at all and steps out of the coffin. He looks at her long and hard, stone-faced and suddenly speaks to her in a language she's never heard of before.

Fighting the urge to pee herself out of sheer terror, Molly hung from the man's grip like a caught fish gasping for air. Eventually she wrapped her mind around the words and stuttered out a shaky "h...h...hello".

The tall male stared at her then for what seemed like an age, he spoke in english. "You are not Taliah." he says to her as he slowly lets her down and looks her over. "But you resemble her....what is this trickery you have enchanted me with? And where is Taliah?" he added suspiciously to her.

Shocked by the sudden use of perfect English, Molly took a moment to recover her wits yet again. "Say what now? I haven't enchanted nothing, I just opened your box. As for this Taliah person, I assume that would be her..." She answered, nodding her head towards the shattered and broken box beside his own.

The man's eyes widened as he went over to the coffin. After a long time of examining what was left of Taliah, he hung his head in defeat. "So I am the only one left in....what ever century this was..." he looks at her long and hard..."she looked a lot like you." he added as he bowed his head. "I am Torrin...Torrin Hammerfall." he added as he looked to her. "And you are?"

"Twenty-first." Molly answered, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for your loss. I should have broken the news slower... I was just scared." Reaching into the rumble, Molly removed Taliah's necklace from her skeleton and began to tie it around Torrin's wrist. "My name is Molly Justice."
