Lyssa...that was the name of the cat he was supposed to be meeting here. He didn't even know the Negaverse had other corrupted cats. He wasn't surprised, it made sense really, but he'd only ever met one - Dahlia. Lyssa had been 'assigned' to him and his plot by his General Queen. He could only assume there was some reason for this, not being assigned a cat in general, assigning of cat and officer.
He'd been told to meet in the park and that's where the General was. The park was known for it's night time activities which was one reason he didn't come here as often. It seemed to have a reputation for senshi, knights and Negaverse agents having run ins and fights. That wasn't to say he didn't like to get into a good fight, he most certainly did, but it was just so cliche and seemed to be packed with people from the other side at times. He'd rather be able to pick his own fights rather than happen into them, or have them happen upon him gathering energy, it got so troublesome.
Tonight however he was here with the single purpose of meeting Lyssa and discussing business, he'd even brought food for her. He didn't know who she lived with, what she ate, how well she ate or anything about the cat - even what she looked like! He'd know her when he saw her though. Either way he made a rather amusing sight as he skulked about in the dark with a tupperware tucked under an arm, filled with food, for this meeting. It was left overs from tonights dinner - white wine and herb done chicken with vegetables.
Peeking out from the darkness of trees and bushes he spotted a couple cozied up on a bench under a light - how annoying. Scowling at the sight he turned his nose up and turned from the sight as he continued on through the darkness.

Lyssa had several agendas that night. One was to remember why in the world she had dipped herself in maple syrup and thought herself worthy of being sold at the local bakery for five dollars. She was clearly worth six. Another was why she was so sticky and the other was why she had arrived in the park of places. The latter…and sadly the former were both common occurrences, she found herself floating, or prancing though this park on most night, days and bank holiday dawns but to find herself waiting here for someone on purpose, like, purpose, purpose was very strange. She bumped into people for sure, seeked them out even, and sometimes when her tummy rumbled and told her to go north she found them along her way. But this time she had been told to meet someone. It had been an order.
And she wasn’t quite sure how to work with that.
She knew it meant rolling in maple syrup and trying to be bought for an absolute steal but other than that she….couldn’t remember what it was she was meant to do. Meeting here was like second nature and anything that felt right to Lyssa she did, so order or not she had sat waiting, sticky, covered in the floating leaves that left the above trees and she waited.
And he came.
He shone with the light of a thousand tooth picks, his scent was one of hundreds of different pigments, both natural and synthetic and he strode with the command of knowing himself inside and out backwards and forwards…and possibly sideways on a Tuesday. He was who she was looking for and the sticky bundle of fur made her way towards him, small ticks running down her back muscles as she approached, her smile unmistakable but always feline.
“YoU arE the One, No waiT…he BondED, thaT’s right, yeS…You are the Two I am LookINg foR Yes? WeLcOme, TheRe is a TuppERware Box under your Obscenities, Good, You nEver know when We will neEd a Solid Defence. “ The kitten spoke in low and high pitches, whispering to herself before speaking loudly to the boy who she never stopped smiling at. Even if her words were confusing and…difficult to decipher her mood could be read quite easily and it was one of pure joy.

He had shown up, on time, and sought out what he felt was a cat - it felt similar to Dahlia. He knew he was meeting a cat here, one he'd never met before, and hoped they'd be able to work well together. So as he made his approached he found himself staring at a rather bright colored cat, at least when compared to Dahlia's cream colored fur. Such a bright, and unusual, color for a cat. How did she not garner attention and have people stopped and staring at her? He supposed it could be the same magic which kept people from knowing that Benitoite and Alexandre were the same person; which was a good thing.
"Lyssa?" He questioned as he bent so he was on level with the cat. It was then, while on level with her, that he noted she smelled of...maple syrup? Why?
"Yes, I brought food for you actually - something home cooked." Shifting the tupperware he settled it on the ground in front of her and opened it. "I thought it only right to bring you a meal." He said lightly, with a certain amount of gentleness to his words.
"And perhaps when we're finished discussing business you'd care for a nice warm bath." He spoke as he plucked a sticky, very sticky and maple scented, leaf from her fur. She was covered in the stuff. Had some children decided to dump the poor kitten into the stuff or pour it onto her? He hoped not, if so he'd be looking to track them down somehow or other. "Here, eat and I'll explain thins to you; you can ask whatever questions you'd like along the way."

If Lyssa could have exploded with multi-coloured fireworks of joy she would have. And dammit she would do! Spinning she chased her tail in a full circle running faster and faster as she let out whirling fizzing sounds followed by explosions until she tripped and stumbled over the Tupperware box, her face happily landing within the food as it mixed into her sticky fur.
“BzzZZtTTt BOOO-OOm! Btttzzzzz – Pop! Meo-w, YoU arE so NicE BonDed One! MosT people onLy bRing me their WhispErs of StoleN DesIres, but you BriNG chicken!”
It might not have been chicken. It might have been cake for all Lyssa could tell but it was food and food that she so badly needed. She didn’t eat when she should have and gifted what she could scrounge together to others even if they did want it. She was half starved and felt the pangs of pain though her clouded judgment just as well as anyone else, so even though she desperately wanted to share it with the passing ant line that was creeping ever close she wolfed it down as only a cat could. Even her body fought for survival against her damaged brain and sometimes, as in this case, basic instinct would win.
Finishing with a slurp she sat back up having remained in the fallen position to eat was what there, her eyes brighter as if her power was renewed in an instant. “ThanK yoU BonDEd One, You – you mAy LiCK me For SusteNance if yOu waNT! Try BetwEEn my toes, that’s wherE I keep the GooD stUff!” Pulling up her leg she spread her toes wide and wiggled her foot, the smile never leaving her face as waited for Benitoite to dig in.
“I Like QuestIONs, ThEy Form so manY shapEs, big And SMaLL and RounD. CaN I asK you Them ALL? Will your MouTh NoT run Out of LettERS?” She didn’t quite realise he meant questions regarding to this plan only, Lyssa was thinking he had knowledge of all matter and again eagerly jiggled her leg, stretching her toes in what she assumed was a tempting manner of sticky goodness. Benitoite would feast well tonight!.

Watching the cat run around, similar to a dog, chasing her tail he wondered just why she was do happy - it was just food. What was odder were the odd sounds she was making; was something wrong with her? Oh god...the mess she'd just made of herself when she face planted into the food. Had he been assigned her, or her assigned him, in order to help her...be more serious and perhaps stable? As it appeared she wasn't all together mentally.
"Yes, I brought food. If you follow me home you can have a bath." Or two...maybe three he thought to himself. If he thought it safe, which he most certainly didn't, he'd take her to a groomers to get cleaned and find some excuse for how the cat had become so dirty. He just didn't trust she could remain silent while at a groomers.
She was offering him....oh god..gross. He actually felt ill and he wondered if she did this, offered this, to everyone. He also dare not ask; for fear of whatever answer she might have for him. But he wondered just how she wanted him to even accomplish such a thing? Was he to get on the ground, on all found, with his stomach pressed to the ground and lick her...eww. Yes, very gross.
"I'm fine..I already had dinner...thank you though." His words hesitant, stilted even, as he hoped she didn't make her offer again. He was sure he couldn't handle it, the mental image was just - gross.
"I meant questions about the plan. I don't know what you've been told. So I want to know if you have questions pertaining to my need of your services and the overall plot." He clarified before turning away, or rather just his eyes, from the sight of her offered toes...and whatever grossness might be found between them. She needed a bath...and what could he do about such gross offerings and words?

She retracted the offending limb very, v e r y slowly, just in case Benitoite changed his mind and his hunger returned. These humans had such funny eating habits that she could never keep track of when they ate. Morning, noon, night, she had even seen them stuffing themselves in their sleep while others refused to take even a bite. With those type of humans she would place things down their throats as they slept, bones should only shown on a person when they joined her in the graveyard.
"AHHh I UnDerstAnd Now BondED ONe, I HavE....Been told onLY SligHTy, MaybE fifteen perceNT oF the OveralL PLan, MyabE Even Six THIrdS of A trianglE! MayBE NOtHiNG!"
It was nothing. Or at least to Lyssa it had been nothing, in truth she had been advised to find Benitoite and aid him in a solid plan that had been lacking in the past few months of the negaverse, a plan that may solve the energy crisis in one swift action. Lyssa had been told to aid in any way possible. Lyssa had decided to roll herself in maple syrup instead. Finishing what ever scraps she could find, the red kitten found herself back on all four feet walking towards Benitoite and slightly ahead of him, her green crazed eyes flicking all around as she waited for him to catch up. She was excited, she didnt know why but she was excited! Eager to help she mewed at him until they matched pace walking out of their secluded spot.
"WE have BaTH now? We Speak OF your PLan BUT noT heRE, YOur plAN will BE SpOKeN BetWEen silENT walls and nOT titterINg Leaves That Laugh AT your Shoes! GOssipinG thingS that TAlk TO much AnD SinG too LittlE, SillY FooLS."
That was probably all code for "lets go and talk privately" but Lyssa had a magical way with words.
Sleet Tempest Snape You may take Lyssa back home now (or not!) and she will adapt to the environment!

At least the paw wasn't being held out in offering to him anymore, the cat was still hard to understand. Her speech was all over the place and bit, or a lot, hard to follow but he did catch onto enough to nod his head and begin to follow her.
"I'll tell you everything, including your important role in this plot." He spoke as he caught up to her and walked at her side. It wasn't hard to keep pace with a cat, very easy in fact, which made sense as she was a cat and not a person with legs longer than his own rather short ones. "But not here, as you said. We shall do it at my home while you take a much needed bath." And maybe he could get her to sleep at his place also...maybe breakfast for her also.
It wasn't that well known, as he wasn't known widely enough, but he had a habit of wanting to help and care for others within the negaverse as well as those close to him as a civilian. Bringing people food, buying them food, talking to them when they needed it. It was all part of the norm for him; just as this was.
It wasn't too long of a walk home, at least not when compared to other walks he'd done, but when he got to the brownstone he'd already powered down a block back. So what stood at the door, red cat at his side, was not a negaverse General but Alexandre Evans. Dressed in a dark coat, jeans, sneakers, and looking every bit the normal civilian he sort of was? Unlocking his door he held the door open for Lyssa. "Just be aware I do own a dog. Cadha shouldn't do more than bark and try to sniff, and lick, you. I suggested, in order to avoid the tongue bath, that you follow me upstairs quickly so I can get you to the bathroom." And a proper bath, as a tongue bath was far from proper in his opinion.
The front door was closed, and locked, behind the guardian cat while his keys were put on the small table next to the door. From there his shoes were toed off and he headed upstairs quickly.

The journey took no time at all to the damaged workings of Lyssa’s mind; most journeys were quick and fun to the kitten anyway especially when she watched flashing colours erupting from the damaged sidewalks and bubbles filled the sky. She didn’t know how the boy could keep talking so calmly as a red hippo slowly ate his head and regurgitated it back out with a burp but such was this world with this rampant hungry, hungry hippos. Her wide eyes never stopped moving as they made their way to Alexandre’s home her head nodding continuously to questions only she could hear. The mention of a dog had her fighting between sheer excitement and unknown fear. She hadn’t known many dogs and those she did snapped at her with dripping jaws and sharp paws. The streets were no place for a guardian cat especially one without her wits and the other animals seemed to pick this fact up and attack her with gusto. Not that she minded. The wounds always healed and the bites always scarred but she would find them again the next week for another chat with claws. Yet this time she fought the incredible urge to go running through the house and find the mammal to share the joyous communion of maple syrup fighting and instead followed the boy upstairs who had…changed into different clothes. He no longer shone with the beautiful light of darkness, the echoes were no longer loud in her ears. He was hidden in plain sight and she felt the loss of connection to him so keenly she had to stop in her tracks.
“YoU no LongER SpaRkle Non-BonDed One…ThE GoDDess will BE…sad…. She Wishes For all HER FolloweRS to be With HER AlwAYs, yoU will see onE day, One daY you Will joIN her fully…” She muttered these words almost to herself than to Alexandre as she picked up her paws and stared at the footmarks she left behind. She did a few more before bounding into the bathroom where the boy stood, his mind probably focused on filling the bath to the top and dumping it in as quickly as possible. She instead circled his legs, the syrup now solidifying on her fur leaving less marks on his civilian clothes as she asked her sing-song questions.
“Is ThiS THE plan? Do I gO in HERe?” She pushed herself up onto the rim of the toilet before leaning her face into the porcelain bowl. " OH GAwd ITs BEaUTiFul"

"Yes, I am no longer powered up. This is how I appear normally, when I go about my day to day life." he spoke gently, having assumed what she meant by sparkle. She really was an odd, if not out right crazy, one. Not for the first time, and he was sure it wouldn't be the last time, he wondered just how it was she came to serve chaos and why. What purpose did she serve, aside from one more guardian cat that wasn't on the side of order. She didn't seem too stable mentally.
"Umm...can you explain about joining her fully...in easy terms?" Why he was asking about this, why he was curious, he didn't know. But maybe there was some warning there or some telling of something she knew as a guardian cat. It couldn't hurt, much, to ask her this anyway. The only which might be damaged would be his brain cells and he could survive that.
"No, you don't go in there. You go in here." he stated pointing to the tub. "And while you get clean I'll tell you about the plot to gain energy that I shall be running and your part in it." He spoke with a gentle smile as he went to get some shampoo, hoping it wasn't a bad thing for her; it was all natural. "Into the tub now, it's not too hot." And the tub wasn't full enough to drown her either.

Lyssa seemed deflated that she wasn't going to be going in to the funny tasting water bowl, her tongue having quickly licked the rim to see what it was made off. Apparently nothing pleasant but still....it was the perfect size for her! Maybe Alexandre would have it instead? He was a little chunky for it but maybe if she helped him remove his clothes he would fit in better? Yes...yes that seemed to be the plan he was going for she could see it now. Nodding and giving him a sly wink for having figured out his idea she looked towards the bath tub and with an agility that seemed impossible for her twitching limbs jumped in, the water splashing up the sides as she landed and skidded on the slick surface. Many cats would have hated water, Lyssa though wasn't your typical cat and by no means could she swim she was at least calm when she hit water, which happened almost ever day, those dam murky puddles were so alluring.
Sitting she looked up at him with big expectant eyes, watching him as he grabbed what she could only assume was the desert he had forgotten to bring to the park. Her tail swished the water back and forth as she thought upon his questions.
"The GOddess, shE...She wILl unite yOu aLL. When yoU tRuLy accept hER, she Will mAKe you beAUtiFul. hEr childRen, the onEs tHAt walk the DaRknEss, theY have loST ThEer wAy but sHe foUNd so maNy hERe to hELp. YOu aRe alREady so cloSe to bEIng perFEct but you sTIll reSist, it Is YouR nAturE ThougH." She frowned thinking deeply, a clear sadness in her eyes as shook her head, a soft mewing sound escaping as her thoughts became clear again.
"sHe is still so wEAk. You hELp hEr, she crY's in my thOUGhts at hOw yoU hElP her, sHe...i dO not kNow the wORd. LOve? She loVEs you, lOvEs YOu mOre than yOU huMAns UndErsTanD. you wiLL be hER new chILDren. She has sO mANy plANs, so manY woNDERful pLans." Lyssa didn't know how to explain the voices in her head, the ones that told her things, the ones that helped her listen to the echo's in the rift, the ones that allowed her to hear the goddess weeping for her release. That was why she was here, Alexandre was going to help the Goddess, help gain the energy that she couldn't take herself being trapped. Her influence, her blessings, could only do so much and she depended on her agents of chaos to succeed in freeing her. Some didn't know the truth but Lyssa did, oh yes Lyssa did.
"YoU would MAke...a beauTIFul chILd...i will hELp you. I will hELp as mUCh as I CAn. Please tELl me hOw." The water around her was starting to go a funny color as the syrup started melted slightly in the heat, her fur sticking even tighter together. He was surprised when she got into the tub so easily, from what he knew cats tended to dislike water. Maybe it was another difference between normal cats and guardian cats? He really didn't know, though he'd admit to being curious about it, and sat there for a moment at the tub's edge watching the red furred cat. How was he going to clean that huge mess she'd made of herself? Sighing he hoped the shampoo would work on her fur. The shampoo he had was all natural and organic, smelling like raspberries and somethign else, he was liberal with how much he poured into his hands before setting the bottle on the floor by his legs. lathering it up he went to work on the cats fur as he spoke.
"Who is this goddess? What is her name? Children of darkness, those of the Negaverse? We've lost our way...or who are the children of darkness?" God, could he get a straight answer from this cat? Thin line between genius and insanity, the words played about in his mind right now. So did the idea that she either was insane and knew nothing or she knew something, a lot, and was like the babbling oracles of Delphi in the ancient times. They had been high though...was Lyssa? No, he really didn't think so but he figured he could be wrong. But the question remained - did she actually know something? "close to being perfect? What is perfect? How can I attain it?" He didn't think perfect was ever attainable, the very definition of it ever changing and it was opinionated, but he had to ask anyway.
Oh god this cat had voices i nher ******** head? Oh god...and this was what he was working with. How he wanted to pinch the bridge of his nose, and close his eyes, right now. However, he could not do such as his hands were covered in shampoo and who knows what else. Finding the sticky substance would not come from the cats fur he sighed. "I might have to cut your hair..." He spoke gently, unsure how she'd take such news, this cat was certainly unstable and unpredictable. "This isn't working at all...it's become worse. After I get it clipped I promise to wash you so you smell nice, like raspberries, and if your cold I'm sure I can get a pet sweater in the morning for you." He was willing to make up for whatever he might do to her by cutting her fur, he didn't want her freezing or something.
Finally though she was asking how she could help him. "I'm going to be running a tea shop. it will be selling products that will drain peoples energy. This all works well till we come to collecting the energy and preparing more items to collect energy, which will be sold the next day. I need you to come in the evenings, when we do these things, and cover our energy signatures. I can't have the other side finding out what we're doing - it would ruin things before we can gather a large amount of energy. Without you Lyssa we cannot succeed in this." He hoped she understood how important a role he was giving her, that she was needed that much. He hoped she understood the plan, as he laid it out simply for her.Matisha Are you sure? And does she really know things? God he's so curious and confused by her!

The smell of raspberry filled her sensitive nose as Alexandre started to lather it into her filthy fur. Having never eaten the fruit Lyssa was more than happy to breath, lick and generally absorb it any way she could. Soon fluffy white bubbles were blowing out of her nose growing larger and larger before they popped over her face and she started again. The Somali had never been washed like this. Sure Harley had thrown her in a river once but Lyssa wasn't entirely sure it was to do with getting clean and more to do with the mermaids that sang at the bottom of the lake. Or was it a puddle? That boy was speaking again and she blinked herself out of the stupor she had relaxed into, the soap entering her tear ducts and making her eyes as red as the fur surrounding them. She didn't seem to acknowledge the pain or stinging that was surely happening but instead closed her right eye ever so slowly as it grew worse.
"ShE GoeS By ManY diFFerENt NaMEs, ShE is ManY diFFerENT BEingS buT she IS onlY onE EntitY. sHe is NilDisS" The kitten thought on it a moment longer, the other eye slowly closing before clean water washed the soap away. He wouldn't know her as that name, wouldn't have awoken to that beautiful sound echoing in his ear. No he wouldn’t know it and it took her a few seconds to remember the name she used for this human world.
"-- ShE iS KnoWn as MetaliA IN THis REalM but ShE hOldS MoRe namES, mOre NameS than THERe are WorldS IN the SKY yOUng onE."
It was difficult to say how vast Metalia was, she wasn’t human and it was hard to describe to a human what she encompassed to those that measured everything in size or status. To Lyssa she was everything. She saw her in the edges of shadows, in the actions of men and the dim light of a doorway. She was everything and nothing and much more than mere mortals could comprehend. Even she didn’t understand Metalia all the time, but she trusted her. Believed in her. That was all she needed.
“YoU Are Too…CloSED yeT to Know bUT… I Will SPeaK To THE CobWEBs For yoU and Ask if I cAn tell bUT be WARned They KEeP their seCRetS close tO hand.”
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell Alexandre the truth it was just that…well the truth wasn’t always taken so well. Even deranged as she was she still saw the stress it brought to those that listened and something as important as this, well, she would have to seek council from the one who told her but he was talking of better things now, things that involved jumpers and tea. She liked those things very much.
“ I LIKe JumpERS I DO…SHaVE me UP scoTTY, I’ll Take a NUMber 2 PleASE” She sat closer to his hand nudging it slightly as she gave her bizarre answer to his question. The kitten would probably never know it happen anyway, she was just happy being held and stroked like he was doing. She never got stroked with Ate. And even if that was the only reason she wanted to help she would have done it without another word. The fact he was hoping to collect large amounts of energy for her goddess helped a dam lot too.
“I Can..I CaN DO that! PICK mE! I can DAMPen! I caN SING but I caN DamPEn BETTer!” She swished about the bath in excitable moves, fidgeting and rolling about as she released she could help him, she really could! Sleet Tempest Snape Whaha, you will have to find out!! I doubt what she knows is ever good for you though!

As he washed away the soap, so he could get to cutting her down, he tilted his head. This goddess went by many different names, interesting. He knew, from where he worked, about different religions and the sameness of many deities and yet how they all seemed to just use different names. He'd never been one for religion, never having grown up around it or heard much on it, but he worked at an occult shop now so he heard enough things from customers and other workers. Was this goddess just another name, the one Lyrssa gave, for what all the other religons used?
Then he heard a name he knew, what he knew to be the ruler of the Negaverse. The true ruler, someone beyond Beryl, someone with more power than one could imagine he was sure. he'd heard her voice more than once but had only seen her once and it had left an impression upon him of what chaos was and could be. He hadn't been scared but nervous and intimidated by the power.
"Thank you Lyssa, I appreciate it - you talking to the cobwebs for me." He did, everything pouring from the little red felines mouth had him curious and interested. he wanted to know more and know if what she said was true, or how much was true and how much was insanity. Or was it the knowledge she held which drove her insane? Was that possible? As he heard her speak, invoke that name, he wondered if that might be the case instead. it was something to consider. It seemed that perhaps this kitten wasn't all that bad, even if she was unstable.
"Stay here, I'm going to get the scissors. I don't have a a hair clipper." Nothing electric at least and her certainly had nothing meant to be used on a pet, he had no need for any such items. He took Cadha to the groomers and he let Caleb trim his hair, or cut it as the case once was. "Once this stuff it out of your fur you'll feel much better and we can properly discuss things while you lay down." He was tempted to offer his home to the cat, he didn't know who she stayed with or if she stayed with anyone, and he didn't like the idea of her out on the streets. This feeling wasn't just because she was touched, or she seemed to know things, but she was also a member of team Chaos and so she deserved a good home. He didn't fancy the idea of anyone who followed chaos needing a home or having a bad home life, he liked to think they all were doing well and if not that the situation could be changed for them. He genuinely cared about those he knew and those he didn't, so long as they were all on the same side, they all fought the same war after all. It was why he didn't mind those of the dark mirror - they were chaos too.
A quick petting under the kittens chin and up he got and off he went to get the scissors down stairs so he could trim away the red cat's fur. When he did return to the bathroom from the quickly made trip downstairs he knelt down and went to work on the sticky fur.
"I'm glad you can help Lyssa. I had hoped you would like the idea. For your troubles, and your help, I'll make sure to have food and drink for you each evening so you can indulge in good food while you cover our signatures so we can work." He wanted to not just pay her back for the help she'd be giving them but he also wanted to take care of her, make sure she was well fed, and what better way to do it? Offer it that way and ensure she had good meals. Maybe she wouldn't go rolling about in...maple syrup again or licking her toes clean. Snipping locks of red fur he tossed them into the nearby trash as soon as he finished freeing the clump of fur, then he went right back in for another clump of red fur.

The feline was more than happy to wait for Alexandre to return for he was kind and gentle and nothing like Ate -although she loved Ate more than words could possibly say…even if she was harsh sometimes. Yet she couldn’t deny Ate of being too cruel for that was how Metalia treasured her agents as well. Ate was always going on about pain and anguish and maybe just maybe that was how she showed her affection for Lyssa, like Metalia showed her love to all life that had ever had the honor of meeting her. As only through agony and suffering could one be reborn pure in the azure light of Goddess. It was something that the kitten would think about in her moments of clarity, especially when she had finished witnessing the horrors inflicted on her friends. Those that had comforted her and brought her food, sometimes even hugging her when it was cold and she couldn’t find a place to hide. They haunted her dreams at night when she couldn’t work out who they were and the transparency of their pasts only came to her in bouts of feverish visions. She thought it was right to miss them yet she wasn’t sure but she knew that what had happened to them was of the Goddess’s choosing, and she would never doubt her mistress, not ever.
Yet she hoped Alexandre would remain in the good graces of her Queen, she hated to think of what would happen to him if he failed.
So it was without a doubt that she would help him, help him more than she had ever helped anyone ever. Even more than the time she helped those birds to fly and the fish to swim, she would help him yes she would.
Watching his return with the pointy metal device she allowed him to tickle her under the chin before he started pulling her fur at strange angles. It was obviously a massage of some sort and soon Lyssa was purring deeply in response to his pulling and tugging and the general snipping of his toy. She had never felt bliss like this and her eyes soon closed as her purrs grew louder.
“YoUr WelCome *purr-purr* BoNDeD onE, I OnlY seek to BrinG you SucCess TO youR DooRfRamE *purrrrrr* I would VerY, very much LikE The GoddESS to Keep You at least *purr* she WilL be happy for YOur help, so hapPy, I am sure. I will be TheRe Always, ProtecTIng your signATures keepINg the dUSt bunnIEs out. I proMise, I pROmise *purr-purr* “
And she truly did. It was with no hint of insanity that she could honest say she loved Alexandre in this moment, him and his pointy snippy little toy. Even if it had gotten a lot colder since she had arrived but she didn’t mind, he was here for her and she loved him.
She was also bald now. Sleet Tempest Snape Sometimes I want to cry for lyssa XD! and I am happy to wrap up or continue chatting if there is anything you want to ask her!!

He was surprised by her purring, he was tugging and yanking at her fur after all, did she not feel pain from it? Or was she feeling pleasure at being freed of the syrup and other things mixed into her fur and making it stick so? He was sure that had to be the reason behind the purrs and smiled down at the red kitty in his tub. Snipping some more he worked, for a while, one handed as his left hand gently pet at her. Moving to scratch gently behind one ear and than the other, once they were freed of the syrup mixture.
"I'm sure you'll bring me success Lyssa." She would do as needed and he was really starting to wonder if she wasn't insane but rather knew far more than she should and more than anyone else. It seemed like it could be the case and that in mind he was sure she'd certainly help him. She would see to it that the Goddess, Matalia, was pleased and rewarded by his plot.
"You want her to keep me." Pleasure filled his words and a certain gentleness. She cared for him and he could tell, it was obvious, and it touched him. "Thank you for the kind words Lyssa. I do hope I am able to please her and not leave her service." As he had a feeling that to leave her service was only done through death, and he had no desire to die in this war. Another petting along the area that had been snipped already, he didn't want to get his fingers tangled into her fur even more, as he leaned down to press his nose to the top of her head, right between her ears, and nuzzled gently. He might serve chaos, loyally, but he was no vicious cruel person as a civilian. He was a snob, certainly, and many other things which he would not deny. but he was not vicious or cruel and was kind enough to lavish the poor cat with attention as she seemed to be in desperate need of it. "You care for me Lyssa?" he questioned gently as he pressed a gentle kiss to the clear, snipped clean, fur between her ears.
Going back to snipping more fur away, watching what he did, he stared down at the kitten with full concentration.
"I'll be done soon and than I can finish bathing you and making you smell nice. I'll find something for you to wear and you can spend as long as you like in my home. I have a doggy door installed in the door leading to my backyard." Small as the backyard was. "So you can come in whenever you please and make yourself at home, escape bad weather."Matisha (The feels I have for poor Lyssa right now! Alexandre just wants to hug her and make her comfortable and mother hen her. I do adore her. We can continue a bit with them just talking and her bath finishing and her being placed in his bed.)
