That date auction had honestly been a toss up when Ariel had gone into it. The boys at the police station had thought it hilarious to enter her into it and she had only participated because the association putting it on had begged her to. It was only pure, beautiful luck that she'd managed to get snagged by a woman, though it still remained to be seen how this date was going to pan out.

When she was escorted over to the table for the pay out and to meet her date, Ariel cocked a hip and braced her hand on it, giving the figure that approached a once over with an appreciative eye.

WELL. She was certainly a hottie... that was a good sign. And from what she had heard, she liked to get a little loud too. Sticking her hand out, the tall, dark haired woman introduced herself.

"Ariel Mishnah. Its a pleasure to meet you." Emphasis on the pleasure, of course.

Even though Harley wanted to spend all her money on each contestants of that fateful raffle she was more than happy (goddam ecstatic) to have ended up with her first choice. She knew this was no sure thing, dam she didn’t know if she would be walking away with a slapped face and a few choice insults but the sultry goddess before her swept all her worries away as she took the manicured hand in her own, her own polished nails gleaming bright red in the light.

“Likewise Ariel, I can’t say I purchase dates often but you are by far the loveliest.”
She pulled on one of her cheesiest grins and fought the urge to whip back an invisible cape and kiss the hand she now held but with will power she didn’t think she had she let the hand drop back down and motioned to the door.

“Do we go start this date now, or arrange a time… or even get hammered here? As you can tell you are going to have one classy evening with me, the names Harley-May, Harley is fine though…or sugar, I respond well to darling too although the more dirtier ones you can think of the more points you get!”

She couldn’t wait to start asking the woman about herself, she adored dates, finding out if you shared interests, to see if there would be any spark or how fast one of you could down tequila shots. Dates were the best.

Ariel was really not the kind of woman that got her hand kissed much so it was probably a good thing Harley didn't attempt anything of the sort. She gave her date's hand a warm squeeze before she released it. Already a grin was spreading over her face and Ariel was pretty sure whatever happened tonight was going to be a lot of fun.

"I'm ready to start whenever you are. I'm all dressed up and everything and my SUV is out front. I wrote down sort of an idea of what a date with me could be, but I'd be willing to entertain other ideas..." The tall woman grinned as she offered her arm to her date. "Do you want to start drinking now, or shall I take you to the firing range and... let you handle my gun?"

The red-eyed woman winked as she led Harley towards the door, putting a nice hip sway into her walk. Ariel had a feeling she could be more of herself tonight than she could have with anyone else. How much herself remained to be seen.

There were only a few things in life that made Harley squeal with delight such as this, one was large quantities of alcohol, the other was not fit for public consumption and the third was, well, who could possibly say no to a firearm? Although the derby girl preferred using her own two fists to deliver punishment she couldn’t deny the excitement of holding a weapon that made possible the deaths of literally millions of people. Not that she particular got her rocks of to that thought but still, the gun was the most destructive type of weapon available to the public something she had not indulged in trying out since moving here despite the obvious law differences from her home land and Destiny City.

“Ohh girl you know what I like to hear! Am sure my body can detox for another few hours for the sake of handling something that you take pleasure in.” Slipping her arm around Ariels so they linked together she followed the raven haired beauty out of the building and to where the SUV was parked. Again something she didn’t get to experience often and she whistled low in appreciation of the vehicle. “Dam that is one nice four by four, poor sod who gets in a fender bender with you, you must have a pretty nice job to afford one of these babies?”

She waited for the doors to unlock, subconsciously smoothing down her top that rolled over her hips and pushing black curls from her face. She would kill for a smoke right now but sadly Destiny City was full of health nuts, she would have to retrain until she could find a bin to hide behind to spark up. Sometimes smoking felt more of a dirty secret than her corrupted life, such is this ******** up world.

Ariel couldn't help grinning as they made their way to the truck arm in arm. Fishing out her key fob, she started it with a press of a button, pleased to hear the engine obediently roar to life.

"Its part of what makes my nice job work, you know? I've got a sweet little motorcycle, but you can't haul people around on it." At the door, she reached for the handle and pulled it open, offering Harley a hand if she needed it to climb up into the fawn-colored leather seat. Ariel would usually prefer the wind and freedom of the motorcycle, but she had to admit that the SUV was nice and warm in the winter... and probably good for those instances where you wanted to park it out somewhere secluded and enjoy some alone time with someone.

Heading around to the other side to the sound of her heels on the concrete, Ariel bounced up into the driver's seat and closed it smartly behind her, enjoying the warmth that was starting to billow from the air vents. Heat even came up from beneath as the seat warmers got going, a feature Ariel had paid extra to be sure she had. The only thing that marred the beautiful, sleek interior was the wire mesh that stretched behind the front seats, sectioning off the front from the rear of the vehicle with gaps too small to put more than a finger through.

"I'm a bond enforcement agent." The black-haired woman said as she reached over to snag something out of the seat from under Harley, waving a bundle of zip strips sheepishly before she tossed them into the glove box. "Sorry about that. Should have cleaned the damn truck out before I came out." She chuckled as she put the truck into drive and pulled out of the parking lot. On the way to the range, she dug into the center console. Pulling out a pack of Marlboros as though it were second nature, the tall woman paused and grimaced, waving the little box at her passenger.

"Ah... you don't mind if I smoke, do you? Been sitting in that damn auction for hours, I could really use a cig... but if it bothers you, I can wait."

Taking the hand that was offered Harley needed no second bidding to jump into the vehicle, her senses picking up the leather seating instantly and her mind was awash with luxury. The smell was one thing but the feel was something Harley had a secret fetish for, seating, clothes, even a handcuff or two and although it stuck to your a** when naked and hot Harley couldn't deny it had an air of elegance. Although her mind and mouth shared none of that quality.

"Your shitting me? A bond enforcer? Had dam that is cool. Do you get to beat people up? Shoot them? Jesus I think I might just break bond to find out! Not that I have anything like that, am too good to catch."
She grinned devilishly, knowing that any questions Ariel asked would be replied with a closed mouth. Even if her more damming actions were done in the guise of her alter ego she still had some secrets up her sleeve she wasnt yet willing to share. Maybe on their 2nd date though...

The waving motion was almost missed by Harley as she watched the landmarks passing in a blur, what she didnt miss was her need to almost fainted right there and then as Ariel explained herself.

"Marry me. Marry me right here and now and I will make you a beautiful bridal dress out of cigarettes. No lie, I have the skill and the determination! You will look fantastic and our lives will be filled with smoking and vodka, this, this I can promise you!" She didnt even wait for an answer as she pulled her own Chesterfields from her purse and eager placed one between her lips, he hands quickly going though the motions of lighting it up, forgetting to ask if the window should be down. Her life was suddenly, and wonderfully, very complete.

A laugh broke from Ariel as she tucked the pack between her thighs and fished out a cigarette, sliding it between her lips as she flicked her lighter and lit it. Switching hands on the wheel, she cracked the windows for both of them, a sigh breaking free as she let out her first lungful of smoke, feeling the nicotine easing her tension. NOW things were good. Better even, considering the hottie in the passenger seat.

"Ha... yeah, I beat people up, and I've got a gun if I need it. Rubber bullets most of the time though. Its kind of fun... I get to work out my aggression in a way that makes me money." Ariel grinned as she relaxed back into her seat, enjoying the way the leather hugged her. So worth the extra money for it. She chuckled again as she tapped the cig against the window to knock off the ash.

"I dunno though... I'm not really a dress kinda girl. This..." And she gestured to her mini skirt with a swirling finger. "This is all for your benefit. You could could sew them to my corset though... THAT would be hot."

As the buildings flew by, lights casting moving shadows inside the SUV, Ariel sent a look Harley's way.

"So hey, what do you do? Seamstress?"

Matisha
PostPosted: Mon Apr 28, 2014 9:48 am

Relaxing into the seat Harley let her eyes close in pleasure, the nicotine running its course as she let out a long luscious sigh. She could get use to this. Dam use to this and flicking her ash out of the window she made sure to keep on admiring the SUV and its delectable driver.

“Ha, seamstress I wish! Unless you’re looking for the whole garbage bag look with string ensemble I will leave that to the professionals! I am umm…between jobs at the moment.” And that was the honest truth, her job and all its luxuries like money had been snapped away from her when she had been awoken to her new, very poor, life and since then she had been doing her best abusing the kind nature of other Negaverse agents and their homes.

“Although I am hoping to set up my own business, or take on one even. Ever heard of Club Rafters? Its on the corner of third and main in the warehouse district of Dee Cee. Someone decided to make a kick a** club there a few years ago but uhh..I think it was bombed, you know something crazy like that.” It had been bombed, Harley even knew the agent who’d done it but again, that was married with kids information, Ariel would have to wait. “ Well its going at a really cheap price due to the fire damage and I have a few people that owe me a favor or two, am hoping to see if I can get the place back on its feet again.” And set it up as another place of operations, but at this time it was all dreams and fantasy.”

Finishing her cigarette (she inhaled the things) Harley gave an expert flick out of the window sending the end of it flying back into the road, sparks catching and disappearing in a flurry of movements. She didn’t know how long they had to go before hitting their destination but she was in no hurry. Ariel was fascinating and she could feel the first effects of being smitten washing over her.

“Since we are getting to know each other, have any freaky hobbies I should know about? Or just some boring ones? You get 50 points if you manage to freak me out though!”

"Ugh, I know what its like to be out of a job... I'm sure everyone does, but I sympathize, really I do. A couple of years ago, I was completely broke... no where to live, no marketable skills, nothing... Its hard out there." Ariel rolled her bare shoulders as she took another drag of her cig and tapped it against her window, sending sparks of ash flirting away into the darkness.

"I... might have heard of that place. It wasn't one of my usual haunts, but I think I remember it on that list of places that have been damaged recently. Running a club though... I dunno, that sounds like it could be a lot of fun, but a ******** ton of work too. And then you have to deal with things like inventory and employees..." She gave a delicate shudder as she said it, but there was still a grin on her face. Organization had never been a problem for her, but working with a bunch of people just didn't feel like something she'd care for. She liked the freedom she had now, the ability to do what she wanted, when she wanted, and how she wanted to do it. As long as she got the proper results, it was all good.

Tilting her head, she slanted a glance at her passenger as she flicked on her turn signal and made the left that took them into the firing range's parking lot.

"Freaky hobbies, huh? From what I've seen, I don't think there is much that freaks you out, so this could be hard..." Ariel chuckled. Biting her painted lower lip, she thought for a moment before she started in. "WELL, lets see... Everything I tend to do tends to revolve around my job, I guess. I go to the gym a lot, I practice Krav Maga, I go to the firing range... I have a motorcycle I love to ride."

The woman shrugged again before she got a little bit of a sheepish look, slanting a glance at Harley out of the corner of her eyes.

"I kind of have a thing for cats." She said as she found a spot and parked the SUV. "Not like 'I decorate my house in cats and wear cat sweaters', or anything. I just volunteer at a shelter when I've got free time and I'm fostering four cats at the moment. I don't think I could live without at least one at home." Ariel laughed as she popped her door open and slid off the seat, wondering what Harley thought of it.

Harley watched Ariel as she spoke, her confidence radiating though everything she did, small movements, the flick of her ash, she was totally in control of her herself and Harley liked that. There was nothing more attractive than a person who knew what they wanted and Ariel seemed to have it all. It was even nice to hear (albeit a strange thing to be happy about) that she had also suffered the temporal loss of money and security. It made her feel slightly more comfortable around the girl. It wasn’t that she needed people to like her or to not judge her for her current situation, but there was something meaningful in people having shared a similar experience, something you couldn’t explain to anyone who hadn’t.

“Well if it counts for anything, I think you suit your current job, ******** the last lot, they don’t know what their missing.” She didn’t know if Ariel had been fired or had left her previous employment on her own terms but hopefully the sentiment would ring true.

“Ha, yeah I must have a power complex, controlling all my minions, sounds like bliss.” Harley couldn’t say she was an expert in running a place by herself but in a previous life she had worked full time in an art shop dealing with stock, money and employees. She may not have been the manager on paper but she may as well have been. “It will take time, I don’t have a pot to piss in right now, but one day, one day I’ll get what I want. Am not the most patient person though so…I may just have to influence the right people sooner rather than later. I can be very persuasive you see.” Memories flashed though her mind, the times she had twisted information from people, convinced them to her cause. Memories filled with blood and pain for those that stood in her way and she smiled. Yes she could get the money, the deeds and the staff for that place; she would make it her haven for the other lost corrupted souls. She would find them and lead them to salvation and power and….oh god she was thinking like a creepy comic book villain again. Shaking her head she passed the motion off as annoying itch, her fingers scratching the back of her neck. She viewed the firing range with renewed interest the thought of the evening to come distracting her from any more erratic and insane thoughts. Now was not the time to go psychotic. Following Ariel’s lead she let herself out of the vehicle, laughing as she went.

“Ohh you live on the edge of danger with those hobbies, you risk taker you!” She was joking but in the typical sarcastic way she did best. She actually thought it was pretty cool she drove a bike, maybe when she finally got her new quad bike they could go riding into the sunset together…that was until the cat thing. She walked around the car coming to a stop before the brunette, her eyes quickly giving her another appreciate look before she raised a pencilled eyebrow.

“Cats? Oh god not cats!” It wasn’t that she hated cats if anything Harley adored them, cooed after them, petted and stroked them. Cats were amazing and she loved them!

Lyssa had ruined that love.

Forever.

“Haha, am joking! Normal cats are amazing I have….a slight problem with a deranged one following me about at the moment and its scarred me for life. I must have fed it or something and now it knows where I live, follows me about, watches me through the window when am sleeping. Its dam creepy and I can’t get rid of the bloody thing!” And Harley had tried. Even a nailed down crate hadn’t worked. Somehow Lyssa always managed to escape and find her way back.

“Maybe I should give her to you hmm? Gorgeous cat lady like yourself should be able to look after her? Give me an excuse to come visit and make sure it hasn’t tied you up or something?” Although that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if Harley was to ever stumble across Ariel in that way. Sadly though she couldn’t discard Lyssa that easily, the guardian cat had an incredible knack of surviving and somewhere in Harley quickly crumbling morals she appreciated that.

Ariel smiled thinly at Harley's comment. She could wish it had just been a job she had lost at the time, but there was really no reason to hash out the real reason she'd been homeless and destitute... and pregnant. Save that for date number two, or maybe never. It wasn't a fun conversation to have.

"I like what I'm doing, it pays the bills, so I'm happy." She said as she came around the truck and offered her elbow to the other woman, watching her stop in her tracks at the mention of cats. Ariel got a sheepish look, grimacing a little. Not everyone thought of cats as highly as she did... and normally she wasn't ashamed of that, but it would be a shame if it spoiled the rest of the night. The laugh came quickly though and the raven haired woman relaxed, her own smile spreading more naturally over her face.

"I've dealt with special cats before... its part of fostering. Just takes the right hand and some patience. I could probably do her justice... and any excuse to have you over is totally worth the effort." She said as she led the way towards the nondescript building. It was dingy, old and not the cleanest, the linoleum on the floor worn and pealing at the corners... but Ariel had never minded it. She felt like the seedy feel suited her these days. No one looked weird at you for being yourself in places like this.

The room to the left of the entrance had lockers and Ariel grabbed her usual one and spun the dial to the lock she'd put on it, clicking it open.

"You have anything you want to put in here for now?" She said as she looked back at her date, tucking her own wallet into the top shelf and pulling out two sets of battered ear muffs. No idea if Harley minded the noise of the guns going off, but it was better, physically, to guard against it. She didn't fancy wearing hearing aids when she was eighty.

Harley followed the dark beauty into the building, her smile still radiating over her face as she laughed coyly at Ariel’s remark. “Ho ho, I bet you would. I sure I’ll have you changing your mind by the end of the night; I have that negative effect on people but…I do think its worth a shot to see if you can…fix her? Sometimes I worry that by not helping I am causing her more harm.” She failed to mention that actually harm she caused Lyssa when the animal went into one of her “moods.” Usually a slap seemed to bring her right out of it but Harley hardly considered animal beating to be an alluring trait to mention. She wouldn’t dare do it to any other creature….well not unless they pissed her off but again hardly a sexy line to drop on a date.

“So I’ll be calling you up on that, I just need you address….phone number….
bra size... - Oh yeah I do, let me just put my purse in there and…am ready! Let’s go shoot some cardboard bad guys gorgeous.” She picked the spare set of ear muffs from Ariel’s hand without asking, she wasn’t to keen on losing her hearing either but she greatly doubted she would live to eighty, still she wanted to hear things while she was alive.

“Your going to have to show me what to do though, I willend up blowing my face off . Never had to use a gun - you can’t in England you see and, well, I never saw any reason to get one when I moved here. My fists are all I’ve ever needed.” That and the 3 tons of garbage littering the streets of Destiny City. “Am a…roller derby girl you see, it comes with ther territory - am built like a tank and can hit just as hard.” She performed a quick macho pose to explain what she meant. Her arms were laced with muscle built up over years of training and the additional help of beating people up morning and night. She may not have sported the same muscles definition elsewhere on her body, she had no six pack, her hips were curvaceous and she could do with losing a few pounds but her arms were her pride and joy and strangely she pulled it off without looking too freaky…her ampule bosom and hips seemed to level her out somewhat.

“But I promise to be gentle with you honey.”

The tall woman grinned as she closed up the locker and slung her holster over her shoulder. This night was proving to be way more fun than she had been expecting. Turning, she directed Harley out of the locker room area with a hand at her lower back, eyeing the flexed arm with appreciation... and the sweet hips as well when they walked down the hall to the range.

"I don't mind showing you what to do." She said as she leaned around her partner to turn the knob and push the door open, revealing the line of cubicle-like areas. "I promise I won't let you blow your face off. If you're into Roller Derby, then I'm sure you can handle the kick back from my baby. She's got a bit of a bite if you're not paying her enough respect. Don't let me forget to dig one of my business cards out of the locker for you before we leave."

Kick back had never really bothered Ariel... once you knew it was coming, you could compensate for it. It had only really been the first time that it had startled her into fumbling around. Set up at the stall was quick and efficient with Ariel driving things. A paper silouette went up on the hook and was strung off down the range to a decent starter distance... it would be ridiculously easy to hit it from there, but they weren't here for marksmanship practice. The box of bullets rattled as she set them on the counter and when she pulled out her GLOCK, its parts moved in well oiled fashion to let her load the magazine and shove it home again with a snap.

"Here..." Ariel took Harley's elbow to guide her into the proper place to stand and she slid the heavy gun into her hands, showing her where to put her hands around the butt of it. "This is the safety. You have to push it like this to take it off and the gun will only fire then its disengaged. As soon as you finishing firing, and this is important for safety, put it back on like this before you even lower the gun from the target. When you're ready, just point, look down the barrel to aim, and squeeze the trigger. Pretty idiot proof."

The tall woman took secret pleasure in putting her hands on Harley, fully justified in showing her what to do with the gun. Too bad she couldn't extend that permission to more enjoyable areas, but whatever. She could settle for those lovely arms and hips to maneuver her into place.

Gladly being led through the door and down to the cubicles Harley nodded as Ariel mentioned the “kickback” term. She had only heard that word when friends had bitched about movies where a wisp of a girl was gunning down monsters left and right and not even acknowledging she had a huge machine gun going off in her hands. Harley knew there would at least be some force; this thing was firing bullets out at ridiculous speeds at the end of the day so when she nodded at her words she truly took them on.

“I’ll make sure to keep that in mind, like I said though, I adore this face, am use to it, If I give myself a black eye from this kick back you speak off I will punish you with my womanly wiles”

Harley didn’t really know what she meant by that but the excitement of being here and having Ariel place her hands on her wasn’t helping with the witty comebacks. Dear lord she felt like she could swoon right now. Letting the woman guide her arms up, slipping fingers around the trigger and letting pressure mount was almost too much for the Derby girl as she inwardly fluttered with nerves. Biting down on her lower lip she let Ariel move her hands so the gun pointed towards the head of the cut out, her mind trying desperately to concentrate on what was happening. She really didn’t need to be distracted right now but Ariel was doing a dam good job of it.

When the alignment was to Ariel’s satisfaction, or so Harley assumed, the raven beauty was given the go ahead to shoot the mark which she did with no added encouragement. She needed the focus, the warm feeling she could feel spreading from her belly down was starting to make tremble. It wasn’t usual but even Harley could be left stuttering over someone she found incredibly attractive and there was only so much British charm she could use to protect herself.

The gun went off and with it her hand and arm shot up and back, the power from the weapon making her neck tense in retaliation as she saw the hole appear in the cutout. It was no where near where she had pointed, aiming for a classic zombie head shot and instead caught the cut out near where the arm would have been. You couldn’t wipe the grin of Harley face if you tried.

“I hit it! Jesus Christ I actually hit the dam thing! That’s right Ariel, you may bask in the amazing glory that is my incredible skills. No need to be shy you can come closer.” That may have deserved a clip around the ear for sarcasm but Harley was too far shocked to rein it back, she was pretty dam please with herself.

Watching her fire at the cutout was delightful, the way her face lit up bringing a smile to Ariel's own. The feel of success, of actually hitting what you were aiming for... she knew that feeling, how exciting it had been, how thrilling, the first few times. The gun had such a feel of power to it... when you weren't used to that, it was a heady effect.

The tall woman wrapped her arm around Harley's shoulder and hugged her as she grinned, pressing her hip to hip and shoulder to ribs.

"Good job, sweet heart! I think the kick back was probably why you hit his arm and not his head, that thing can hit like a mule when you haven't done it before, but that really was fabulous." Shifting around behind her date, Ariel guided her arms up again and into position, but this time she kept her own wrapped around her, gripping her wrists lightly to stabilize them.

"Alright, remember... aim down the sights and just a little bit higher than the point you want to hit. I'll help you hold it and we'll see if we can't get him dead in the forehead." She said, red lips by Harley's ear and her chin on her shoulder. The positioning was, of course, quite deliberate and she was thoroughly enjoying the thin excuse to get closer. Thus far, her date had shown no reluctance, and if anything, had been shooting her invitations all night... it would take someone with a lot more restraint than Ariel had not to see how far she could go before she toed the boundary. Were the teasing words simple that, just words? She was certainly going to find out.
