Big brother was back! The older stallion had been too exhausted to greet him when he'd arrived, so Star hadn't had a chance to go and say hello yet. The young stallion had only even heard the news through the mouth of his trusted angeni friend but still just the thought made his heart leap with joy. Big brother was back and when he left again they would be going together to their new home!
There were some things to gather. He wanted to make a pack of winter foods which the lame stallion Chane had taught him how to find. He'd spent a winter here with his bother already, and even though his brother was wise he still had trouble finding food in unfamiliar territory. Once he'd done that he had to track down Chane and Miroqi and let them know he'd be going.

Lady Aria Starstone Roshahan was quietly pacing to the cave where he'd heard whispers that his younger brother had been spending a lot of time. He wanted to meet the mare his brother had mentioned. Such a short time they'd had together, now that they'd reconnected, but Rosh worried about Miro, worried greatly. After all, he had been injured. Rosh didn't know if his presence would have helped, but he did feel bad about it. Still, it wouldn't do to get worked up over the past. As he got close, he looked up and saw another stallion, a large grey fellow. He paused, looking him over quietly, unsure what he was about to encounter. The only thing he was sure of was that it WASN'T the walker that hurt Miro... That had been a mare.

There was a good chance that Auri would have an old rag in her cave that he could use to make a sling. She wasn't much of a hoarder but there could be interesting things she'd forgotten about hidden back there in the rocks. It may be harder to fit back there to search, he'd grown a fair bit since he'd begun staying with her. The back of the cave had served a handy location for him to cower in when he was smaller. As much as he hated to admit it now, he'd been terrified of the mare for about half a day after his big brother had left.
He was a bit surprised to see a stallion pacing near the cave, but his foalhood shyness had melted away and there was no fear left in his heart for this new fellow.
"Hello!" he greeted. "Are you looking for Auri?" most of the visitors seemed to be looking for Auri. There was no reason this fellow would prove to be an exception.

Lady Aria Starstone Rosh smiled a little, relaxing a bit at the friendly enough greeting from the other. He moved slowly closer, and tilted his head. "Auri... Auri... Would that be Aurianna, the Angeni Mare I am told lives near here? If so, then I am, indeed, coming to see her. I wished to meet her, thank her for the kindnesses she has shown my brother." He tossed his head a little, trying to get a loose curl off of his face. He loved his mane, truly, but somedays it was just in the way. "Are you a friend of hers, perchance? I am new to the area, and the only person I know here is my brother, so I am working on introducing myself to those who reside nearby."
