 It had been a long time since Pinkie had ventured outside of his home territory. He preferred to stick by his mother and father then endure pointless drivel with the lessees of the world. He wasn't referring to breeds or genders, but status. He was royalty and even though his mother was a queen, but his father was a prince. He flicked his wings open briefly before folding them again on his back. He didn't know what he was even going to do today other then wander around looking for something interesting. His father would always tell him to adventure and see the world, his mother would mention it as well. He just didn't know if that kind of life was for him. He didn't know if it was something he wanted to do. If it was something that would fulfill his life. He just wanted to do something fun for once. Something where he didn't have to be so stuck up.
"What a drag.." He said lightly as he eyed the sky which was darkening knowing it was probably going to rain at any moment. He didn't like rain at all. It ruined his hair and his accessories began to get a little heavy. He sighed thinking maybe this was a pretty bad day to come out.

The mare eyed the darkening sky as well, but with only passing disappointment. She had thought perhaps it would be a good day to fly a bit and scout the area from the air, but she didn't like the look of the clouds. In addition to rain they looked like they might offer up some lightning and Wretch wasn't going to risk that. Instead she lowered her gaze, scanning the horizon for anything of interest.
Almost immediately she spotted the stallion, so much did he clash with the surrounding flora. She was distant enough that she figured he hadn't spotted her yet, but she could tell from his silhouette that he was a fellow kalona. Shrugging, she slipped into the shadows and edged closer, circling around behind him to avoid detection. She thought it might be fun to surprise him and see how he might react - or perhaps he will find her out before then. She smiled mischievously, glad for the diversion from an otherwise boring day.

The stallion could feel a presence near him, but he couldn't see who or what it was. His eyes scanned the surrounding area trying to pick out some sort of creature and when nothing was distinct, he walked onward flicking his tail in annoyance still feeling eyes on him. Most of the time he didn't mind too much and he would prefer if everyone had their eyes on him, but right now he felt like he was being hunted. His wings flicked open in aggravation and then folded neatly back down so that they rested gently against his back. "I know your out there.." He said in a low meek voice before turning his head and sensing someone in the brush nearby. He looked around very intently to see if there was something he could spot that would let him know he wasn't crazy. Then he saw the sight of a small cream colored horn peek out from some green shrubbery making him smirk. "Ahem..I see you so there is no point of sneaking up on me. If your looking for a battle then I suggest you look elsewhere." Fighting was below himself. He didn't fight and if others saw him fighting he would be like the rest of society.
Beasts and untamed idiots that prided themselves in being the biggest brute possible. He didn't know what this beast was, but who knew it could be someone who could be his royal subject or someone of royal blood. He only hoped it wasn't someone who was a commoner. That would be a bit depressing. Of course it also didn't help that he stuck out like a sore thumb. He flicked his tail again waiting for this being to show themselves. He was in no more for games. Games were for children and he grew out of that stage a long time ago.

She raised an eyebrow at the male's meek tone. He sounded weak. She frowned, irritated immediately that this kalona could be disappointing. This was the first fellow kalona she'd met since the dissolution of the great kalona herd and she had hoped he would be more impressive. She ground her teeth irritably as she watched him look around warily. She cared little that he'd spotted her and took the time he spent feeling superior to leap out at him, flaring her wings and kicking out at him with her front hooves. The move wasn't particularly powerful, but then she wasn't trying to fight him outright - yet. "What manner of kalona are you that shies away from a fight?" She looked him up and down, unimpressed with his bright exterior. "You look like a pansy. Act like one too." She circled him, eyeing him dangerously. "Who are you?"

 Caught off guard, Pinkie felt the kick and groaned a little bit at the slight pain. He didn’t fight nor did he indulge in eating flesh like other kalona and he was perfectly content with that. He didn’t have to follow everyone just so he could fit in and he was perfectly fine with never fitting into kalona society especially if they all acted the way she was. “I don’t fight. Why fight? Fighting isn’t always the answer for everything and most of the time it’s better to simply talk things through. Things get resolved easier that way.” He said seeing that she wasn’t exactly thrilled with his answer. You couldn’t please everyone and if this mare was looking for a fight he wasn’t going to give her one. He was not violent at all. “Pansy? All because I don’t want to fight and shed blood? Not everyone is the same and your one of the reasons why kalona are given such a bad name.” He told her lashing his tail around behind him feeling annoyed at her already. He had some anger in him as he was sure all kalona did, but he knew how to repress it well.
“Should I even give you a name?” He wasn’t trying to make her angry, but her hostility was turning him off. “My name is Prince Pinkie. I would ask for yours, but I don’t even know if you would want to tell me.” He mentioned keeping his eyes on her.

She spent a long moment eyeing him up and down, trying to take his measure. He looked pure and spoke haughtily enough that she could take him to be a pure kalona, but she had never once met one that didn't want a fight. It was off-putting. She settled herself in front of him, folding her wings at her side. He clearly wasn't a threat. "Kalona are supposed to have a bad name. Others should fear us." She snorted, amused by his naivete. She could tell she'd stuck some nerve with him by his agitated manner. Was he repressing his Kalona nature? Why would he do that? "We are Demon Spawn. Others should tremble before us. That is the natural way of things."
Her eyes narrowed at him suspiciously. "My name is Wretch. Fancy yourself a Prince, do you? A Prince of what?" She was finding this male more absurd the longer he talked. What was he playing at? Where was the angle? Was he playing her false or was this really how he was? She glanced casually into the area around them, in case he had others surrounding them, ready to pounce.
