The snow was finally starting to melt. They were going to become free of the harsh winters. Finally could get away from his mane being matted and his feathers getting stuck together. That filly that came along helping to get sticks and feathers out of the mane came in handy. She was probably older now and probably wouldn't remember him.
Laying on the ground on his side,he was trying to relax and enjoy the season slowly turning to spring. The only bad thing about spring was rain...constant rain.. But what was the care,it'd quickly pass by and before they know it would be winter all over again.Tsalar hated winter.
Stretching out his talons and giving a good stretch to his legs as well,he decided to stand.Maybe it wasn't a good idea to lay down for that long. Then again he didn't care if something wanted to kill him. He didn't have a purpose or family in these lands,at least he thought he didn't. They weren't much help even if he did.

Hresvelgr yawned in the most dog like manner possible. Her eyes closed, and her ears pinned back for a moment as she stretched out. Her wings seemed to shift and fold against her back, the eyes closed and sleeping in their own way. Looking around, the mare frowned deeply, her red eyes searching the area. Well at least winter was ending... She shook out her fur, before moving slowly around the area, her tail giving a slight flick, stopping it from dragging about the ground some. She rolled her shoulders a bit, before moving slowly out of the cave she had been sleeping in.
She flinched back at the sun, growling low in her throat. Hresvelgr frowned, before shifting slowly away from cave. She walked quietly out from the area, and let her eyes flicker from one location to another. Her nose twitched as she brought in the smells around her. Something caught her attention, and she had to take another breath in to see what it was. Bird... something bird...
Shaking her head some, the wolf like creature moved slowly around the area. She searached with a sharp eye, fangs bared some and her wings shifting once more. The eyes on the fold opened slightly, looking around when they realized something was up.

Tsalar also caught the scent of something new approaching.Normally he didn't care for others wandering past him, because all the ever did was insult him and move along.
Just because he looked a little....different..
He met quite a few like him and they had the same problem but it didn't bother him as much. Probably because he didn't have anyone there for him as a child.Trying to raise himself and feed himself. It was quite hard with no one there. He usually stole from soquili when they got distracted from their food.
Returning his mind back to thinking about that scent. He moved foward towards it.It smelled dangerious and like a mare. But he could be wrong. Flaring his cheek spikes and his head feathers,he moved a little bit forward here and there, though he wanted to await the arrival instead of him running into trouble.

The mare frowned lightly when she didn't at first catch sight of that which she smelled. Her ears pinned back some, head lowering a bit as she stalked forward and through the brush. Eyes piercing, she searched, until she finally spotted the other creature not far off. She recognized some of those traits from stories her father had told her. Stories of a place that her mother and sister resided. Frowning at the thought, Hresvelgr snarled low in her throat, her fangs bared as she watched the avian like creature.
She didn't know what he was, or why he was outside the territory that her father warned her of; from what she was taught, all the clawed creatures resided there; so it was some shock to her that this one was not. The wings on her back unfurled, eyes wide open and staring, locked, on Tsalar.
