The playground was riot of running children, screaming and the occasional burst of tears as someone was pushed off the monkey bars. Mossflower was avoiding all of it as she sat on the grass nearby, tuning the cacophony as she carefully selected flowers and wove them carefully into a chain. Now and then she glanced at the sky, well aware that storm clouds were gathering in the distance and a sharp wind was beginning to blow. It didn't bother her, but if she was outside when the rain started, her parents would be worried. Atmadja Horrid start, sorry! xD But let's go! <3

Blushing Bride tried to ignore the cloud cover as she took a stroll through the playground. Why was it so hard to find playmates that didn't want to scream a lot or get super, super, extra dirty? Not that she was too prim or anything. Just that she'd rather sit down and relax and do creative things, or makeuppy things, or...
... or weave flowers together!
The sight of Mossflower brightened Blush's expression. She trotted over with a ladylike smile, keeping polite. If the lovely green filly wanted her solitude, Blush wouldn't trample over her desires.
"That's a lovely chain you're making!" she piped up, widening her smile slightly. "I think it might rain soon, but do you mind if I sit next do you for a little bit?"

Mossflower looked up with an instant smile, a smile that grew when she actually had a good look at her new companion. She was so pretty and she already had her cutie mark! "Thank you and of course, please join me!" Two was always better than one.

Blush took a seat beside the other filly, impressed with her manners. Most foals she met were just one step above oafs, and while she knew (and bet her future livelihood on) that phonies met, fell in love, and got married every day, she had to admit that she had NO idea how the process was supposed to happen when so many foals were squealing nutbergers.
"Thank you so much!" said Blush, dropping down elegantly beside the filly. She watched her work for an extra moment before she spoke again. "I love your little daisy chain. Do you think I could make one, too? I love it when brides -- er, mares, really, wear chains like that in their manes or put a little flower bud here and there in them. It's so pretty, don't you think?"

"Of course you can," Mossflower said as she laid the daisy chain out of the grass in front of her and shuffled so that she could face her new friend. "Do you want me to teach you? It’s really easy once you know how." A pleased giggle escaped as she leant forward and gave an eager nod. "Oh yes! When my mum and dad got married, my mama wore flowers in her hair. Really pretty orange ones. We have a picture in our house and she looks so beautiful."

"I'd love to learn!" exclaimed Blush as she settled, smiling sweetly. "And I think it's lovely your mama wore flowers in her mane -- I wanna do that sort of thing one day, you know, help people plan the weddings of their dreams, so I'd love to know how to make a flower crown."
She looked around to gather her own materials, but daisies were getting rather thin on the ground. The only thing there was a fair amount of near her were puffy-round-headed dandelions, as fragile as they were pretty … in their own way. Gently, using her horn, she plucked them, trying to follow Mossflower's lead.

"That’s a nice dream. I’m sure it would be wonderful to help someone have their perfect day." Mossflower said as she eyed the fluffy dandelions dubiously. Yellow dandelions were fine, but once they went all ‘poofy’ it was nearly impossible to do anything with them. "Maybe we should go search for more flowers," she suggested as she neatly tied of her own chain and looped it over her head. "I've gone and used up all the good ones." There was a rumble of thunder in the distance.

"Oh, maybe so..." agreed Blush as she tied the first two dandelions together with the utmost care, her eyes narrowing just slightly in concentration. It was difficult to get them to loop the way Mossflower had done her own without handling the dandelions more, but handling them more would surely make them all float away. She floated her bundle up gingerly, tying them all only very, very loosely. "I suppose these little guys just aren't quite right for this, are they?"
Just as she spoke, a tiny droplet of rain landed on the tip of Blush's nose. All at once, and before she could stop herself, she sneezed.
WHOOSH!
In a single breath, there went the entirety of Blush's bouquet. A tiny grey cloud of dandelion seeds went spiraling up and away, making a thousand wishes, and leaving the poor filly with a sad ring of looped stems.
Blush watched them with some shock... and then, just as suddenly, began to giggle.
"Oh... oh no!" she laughed.

Mossflower watched, barely daring to breathe, as if the slightest sigh would burst the dandelions apart into their dancing seeds. If Blush did manage to make a necklace out of them, it would be the most beautiful and delicate flower chain ever made. Then of course, the other filly sneezed. Mossflower blinked and watched the wind do the rest of the work and scatter the dandelion seeds away. She went to smother her first laugh, but as Blush let out a giggle, Mossflower joined in with one of her own. "Oh," she said through her laughter, "I’m sorry, that’s such a shame."She took her own daisy chain from around her neck and offered it out to Blush… just as the as sky opened up and the rain came pouring down.

Blush was still laughing as Mossflower offered up her own flower chain, watching the dandelions go scattering off in all the wind, the sky really threatening now. What on earth had she thought? Clearly this was the only and inevitable ending to such an undertaking.
"Oh, no, it's not a shame," Blush laughed, wiping a tear of mirth with her hoof. "It's exactly what should've happened."
She turned, and smiled sweetly as she reached out a hoof to take Mossflower's daisy chain. She tried to thank the other, but then the rain dropped on the two like a sheet, instantly wilting the flowers and dousing them.
Another peal of laughter, this one slightly surprised, came out from Blush. "OH NO!" she giggled. "That one IS a shame!"
And quickly, she darted toward the schoolhouse with the other filly, her laughter ringing behind her. .
