It wasn't a sudden decision. It was a decision that came slowly over the two and a half years he'd been a hunter. Death Division had not been terribly kind to him. The longer he was a hunter, the more he felt it. Once in a blue moon the skills he'd learned as a Death hunter actually came in useful. Usually to help him escape dying. But as a whole? Increasingly he felt useless, a hinderance or just unhelpful. He had no goals. He had no clue. He was in a Division that expected him to know what to do and when.

And he just... never knew.

He needed direction. He needed guidance. He needed a role where he wasn't the ideas man, because his mind was flat out of ideas. He needed to see change before his mind sank into an oily, thick pool of despair.

So there he stood outside the bedroom of Allen. This man scared him, sometimes repulsed him. But comparing him and Caelius? He wasn't nearly as unapproachable.

He knocked on the wood frame before stepping inside. "Uhm... Allen? Could I talk to you?"

The door to Allan's room was almost always open, unless forcefully closed by some of his more angry and less tolerant neighbours, and there was quite the melange of activities occuring within. First was the DDR machine still blasting Butterfly while a laptop continued to play some abstract episode of some anime that involved characters in ninja costumes. In the distance there was popcorn being popped in the microwave and the counter was full of surprisingly clean dishes that hadn't been put away yet.

There was also no Allan in sight.

"Psst," said a hidden Obviously Allan, "A ninja is only seen not heard." A pause. "Mysterious!"

Everything about Allen, right down to his room, was the complete opposite of Caelius. And by opposite, meaning he was also on the far extreme side of things, making it difficult to tolerate. Otto's brow twitched once he heard Allen, peeling his gaze away from the rather mesmerizing room to look for the obvious hidden Allen.

"Except by other ninjas." He drawled back, hopefully speaking his language. He'd read his silly Bleach books, but he'd yet bothered to read his yellow haired ninja books. Such misfortune. Maybe Simon wouldn't be as loopy on the odd occasion he might need to speak with him.

"From one ninja to another..." Ugh, this was painful. He really hoped this was going to be a good idea in the long run. He wasn't that good at playing along for more than a couple of seconds. "I got a request."

"Allen, is it possible for me to transfer from Death Division to Sun?"

"Okay," said the voice of the Sun lead which seemed to be suspiciously coming from the next room. There was a kotatsu in the next room which could only be described a giant square fluffy blanket with a table over it. A table-blanket really. Peering out from the blanket corners was a pair of obviously oversized Allan legs, "but your spirit lacks conviction! Say it from your kokoro! Raise your arms in the air and shout out loud 'BANKAI! EVOLUTION OF KOKORO CHANGE PURITY FORM BEAM!'"

There was a huge emphasis on the declaration part.

Otto quietly padded into the other room, his brows knit tightly together. He stopped just inside it, his head dropping down to find Allen (probably) underneath some odd looking table. Was he stuck or something?

But even the comical nature of his state of being paled in comparison to the lead's declaration. Otto's grimace was deep and radiated repulsion. How could he ask him to say something so outlandishly foolish? If he didn't know any better he'd think Allen was messing with him. But then how badly did he want to switch over? Would Allen decline his request if he didn't oblige? He knew that the change may not be swift, but he neglected to realize it may also involve humiliation.

Well.. at least it was just them there... right?

"U-uh...." He cleared his throat, already feeling his cheeks and ear lobes burn brightly red in anticipated embarrassment. "B-...." Tenya cheered him on within his mind, trying to find ways to rile him up.

He struck a power pose to help.

"B-Bankai! Evolution of kokoro change purity form BEAM!" His accent butchered the Japanese parts of the speech, but it wasn't as if Allen usually did much better.

He prayed this helped to sway the odd Division lead.

Click.

A cellphone flashed from the area where the kotatsu was roughly located. "This is going right on my Nakama Wall!"

It wasn't too hard to figure out what the Nakama Wall was as Otto was roughly staring at it. To his left next to the weapons display cases were a bunch of framed pictures and a lot of hand drawn crayon-made doodles from what seemed like various figures of the Sun division crew. If Otto was careful, he could make out photos of Simon, Bix, Jordan, Rep, Ophelia, America in a Pikachu with balloons, and even some more elusive Sun Trainees as well as a smattering of less enthusiastic Hunters from other divisions. There were also some heartfelt messages written on the walls, and in the top corner was Allan and a small figure holding hands with a rainbow behind them that read NAKAMA in dainty letters. The figure was notably wearing a heart-shaped apron and rainbow crayon-coloured socks.

Before Otto could ask what was going on, which was what pretty much the eventual question single encounter on Deus lead to, Allan, wearing a bright orange jumpsuit and a ninja headband, grabbed Otto, lifted him bodily into the air - Otto barely risked being impaled by a particularly lethal looking weapon just hanging from the ceiling carefreely - and shouted something like nakama beam away!

This resulted in Otto being thrown into the closet, one very bumpy ride- a loud crash - and then they were in a very familiar sort of area. The kind of place where people who weren't Sun leads usually hung out, and possibly belonged to Otto's old boss.

"Allan," Caelius began, still seated, "If you-"

"-Request for a division transfer!" Allan shouted.

The Death lead stared.

"Oh," the Sun lead followed up, sheepish, "I mean for Otto-kun!"

Said Death lead then stared at Otto. "I highly doubt transferring him will improve your division, though considering the average produc-"

"-Okay! Bye! Nakama beam away!" And then Allan jumped out the second story window.

About a second later Otto was thrown out the second story window by someone Not Allan.

The flash scared him, as he immediately assumed someone was taking a photo to blackmail or humiliate him with. However, it turned out to be something actually endearing. Allen was nuts, and embarrassing, but he had so much more heart than his highness.

Speaking of he who shall not be named, Otto was suddenly on a one way trip there.

The blond struggled to his feet, stars popping in his eyes as Caelius barked at Allen. He was able to make out a few lines f dialogue, enough to know that it seemed the transfer was complete.. ish.

By the time he got his bearing, he too flew out a window.... but not by choice.

<> Tenya cackled wildly in his head. Otto simply groaned and checked for broken bones.
