sad Failed to Train. SO she has a pet Borgnah now....
As expected, she got stopped at the village gates by the guards and told that she couldn’t enter with a Borgnah. Grumbling to herself at the unfairness towards those who wanted exotic pets and mounts, she led her Brognah away.
“Guess I’ll head to the wild tribe camp and see if they’ll take care of you and help train you.” She said to the Borgnah. True to her words, she led her pet off back into the wilderness, heading towards the last location of the Clan’s camp. As they traveled, she tried to get the Borgnah to accept carrying her stuff, but he would have none of it. Every time she tried to put something on his back, he would hiss and dump it off. By the time they reached the tribe, she was tired of it.
“How am I supposed to train you?” She muttered at the Borgnah as she approached the camp.
A look out called out to her, “Is that Borgnah a pet?” It was a dovaa, gaili by the rocky look to its scales and colorations.
“Pet’s probably the right word for it. I wanted to have one as a mount, but it’s just not letting me teach it.” She sighed. “After I finally managed to catch one too!”
He wandered down towards them and held out a hand to the Borgnah. “You did a good job on getting it calmed and tamed. Not sure who one would train a Borgnah.”
“Me neither. And the ports won’t let me enter with him.” She grumbled. “I was going to take it home with me, but apparently not.”
He laughed, “Well, since you did all the hard work of catching and taming, I wouldn’t mind trying to train it! I live here and don’t leave so why not?”
“You’d do that?” Kadryn asked with a smile. “I want to keep him, but…”
“It’s fine. Plus, no one else has one.” He winked at her. “If you ever catch anymore, come back here and I’ll help to train them! I’ve had good luck with other animals, so maybe my luck will help me here.”
