Private RP between Apple Blossom (Angelique DelaMort) and Candy Corn (Apple Blossom19) "One more ought to do it! " Apple Blossom called cheerfully to her constant companion, Snow. The little bunny was helping her gather apples for the big feast they were planning for some of their dearest friends the next evening. Snow wrinkled her nose and sped off bringing back not one, but two more apples. Like her soquili companion, Snow liked to make sure they had enough for everyone and then a few more mouths, just in case. Apple Blossom just laughed, "Alright, I guess it doesn't hurt to take a few extra back. It's not likely they'll go to waste." She eyed the newly grown pile of apples warily, "Now, how are we going to get all of these apples back to the meadow?" She bit her lip considering their options, "I don't suppose we'd be able to carry them back one or two at a time, hmmm. Well, I suppose we could but that would take a very long time, wouldn't it? Oh Snow, what are we going to do?"

Candy Corn, as usual, had stumbled into a new place she had not visited yet. She loved when she had such luck! As she walked a ways, she had found herself in a wild orchard of apple trees. Oh this was even more lucky! Perhaps she could take a few back to the two-leggers who helped her on occasion to place on the fire to warm a bit before bed. Though, she had no idea if the area was already claimed by someone else.
She twitched her ears a bit at the sound of spoken words nearby. Awww, seemed like the wild orchard was already in someone else’s territory. Oh well, she could always ask for some apples, couldn't she?
She trotted along towards the sounds and found another Usida with a bunny by their side. And wonder of wonders, a large pile of apples! Candy stood and looked at the apple pile for a moment, (she could just taste the roasted goodness already….), and then looked at the soquili that was before her. She giggled a bit that the little mini had apples on her as well!
“Hello there!” Candy greeted. She stood still and smiled brightly, “Are these your apples? They look good!” She giggled a bit, “My name is Candy Corn, but you can call me Candy!” She then blushed and looked to the ground, and pawed at it a bit, “If this is your orchard, and then please forgive my question, but may I have some of the apples growing here? I would really like to have some to roast.”

"Oh!" Apple Blossom squeaked in surprise to find the other mare there with them. She really did have to get better at "observing her surroundings" as Sonja put it. But Apple always felt safe where ever she was and didn't really feel the need to be ever observant as her friend advised. Besides, this little mare looked so sweet and kind and obviously no danger at all! And the poor dear was hungry! That struck Apple Blossom to the core (so to speak) and she quickly grabbed one of the shiny red apples from her pile and trottted it over to the mare, "Here you are, dear!" She set the apple at the mare's feet and beamed at her, "I'm very happy to share! Though I am sorry, I don't really know about how to roast them. But I promise you they really are quite good! Fresh off the tree and sweet as can be!"

Candy smiled brightly at the other mare, "Thank you so much!" She giggled a bit at her comment about how to roast them. "No need to roast them yourself! The two-leggers that I go to for help sometimes do that for me if I bring them any." She could taste the crunchy goodness just thinking about it!, "It is worth it if I can bring them some!"
She took the offered apple and then looked at the pile of apples at the mare's hooves. She placed her apple gently on the ground near her and said, "That's a lot of Apples for a someone as small as me and it's bunny buddy!" She turned her head in thought and said, "What are you doing with so many anyway?"
Candy thought a little more about the pile of apples and thought that it was rather a lot for a small Usida and her bunny buddy. Perhaps they were going to make pies? Ooooo apple pies sounded good…. Candy shook the thought away and thought more about the pile of shiny apples. Perhaps they needed some sort of help with them? Well, if they needed help eating them, Candy had no problem with helping them with that!
Her curiosity with what the unknown mare was going to do with those apples made her very, well, curious.
Candy smile and said, “If you need help with those apples, I can help!"
Candy pleaded with the fates that the unknown mare would need help eating them!

Apple Blossom giggled, "Oh dear, no, no.I certainly couldn't eat all these by myself, though," she added in a conspirator's whispered. "I can't speak for Snow here..."
The Snow White hare tapped a foot impatiently, they did after all have something of a schedule to keep to if they were going to get all the food ready for the upcoming feast.
Apple Blossom shook her head good naturedly at her companion and continued, "Snow and I have gathered these apples for a little celebration we have with friends. Some of them we haven't seen for a long time and some of them are so new that I don't even know them yet. But Snow and I are responsible for the apples, my life are and I work together to grow them, tend to them, and such, and we wanted to make sure we had enough..." She sighed and looked at the intimidating pile of apples, "But I think we might have gathered a few too many...or at least we should have dragged along a sack or something. Planning like this really isn't my talent..." Then upon realizing the mare's offer of help she added, "Maybe you could help us get these to the meadow? The one with the small pond? We would happily give you a few apples for your effort..."

Candy smiled at the asking for help. Oh well, it was a long shot that they wanted her to help eat them. But she knew about keeping hungry people waiting! Hungry people were not happy people!
“I would be glad to help!” Candy said “It’s a nice thing you are doing for your friends, and I’m all for helping people when they need it!” She shook her head and said, “No, no, I need no payment, the ones you gave me earlier are fine with me! Though,” she said smiling shyly, “I am new around here, but if I follow you I can find my way to this meadow!”
Candy looked around for an idea on how to get the apple’s from the orchard to the meadow and thought about it for a while. “If we take a few back with us, and then come back with some baskets or something to carry the rest, we should get done in no time flat!” She then looked down at the bunny and then back at the other mare, “Perhaps the little one here can guard your pile till then? I don’t think anything will happen, but when you have that many delicious apples…” Candy looked at them again, and thought about the two that she had been given. She then shook her head and smiled, “Well, I just wouldn’t trust anyone with those shiny apples lying around!”
“Just lead the way and I will follow! After that I can go between the orchard and meadow fine!” She took up as many apples as she could carry and waited for the other mare to lead the way.Angelique DelaMort wahmbulance Please tell me if I am doing anything wrong, I tend to get bossy sometimes ^^"""""

"Oh thank you!" Apple Blossom chirped cheerfully. "I'm sure Snow can manage the apple pile just fine until we get back and we do have a few saddle bags given to use by the humans back near our glen," the small mare nodded as she thought out the plan. Snow nodded along with the plan and quickly took up position at the apples. She might have been small but she was a tough little rabbit. "Yes, if you could help me carry back a few at first then we can grab our bags. I'm so silly for not grabbing them to begin with..." she laughed and shook her head. "And Of Course we'll give you some apples! Or if you're still around tomorrow night you can come to our little feast? It's not much but..."

“It’s ok!” Candy said smiling, “I forget stuff too sometimes.” She thought of the times she had forgotten her hair feathers at the two legger’s camp and went off for two weeks, almost forgetting about them.
Candy blushed as she was given an invitation to the large feast, “Well, if you are sure I can come, I’ll try to find something to bring as well!” She didn't want to be someone who came and didn't bring something to share with others who would be bringing something.
Candy looked at Snow and giggled as she scampered up onto the pile of apples. Candy saluted her and then turned back to the apples she would carry back to the meadow
Candy was delighted with the prospect of attending their feast! But she had nothing to bring to it… As they walked to where they would drop off the apples and pick up some bags, Candy thought hard about what she could bring to the feast. She couldn't give away the candy corn on her necklace, which was specially made for her. She would love to bring some roasted apples, but that took time, and she had no apples other than those given to her. She wondered if she could find some berries she could pick and bring back. Yes! She had found some bushes of black berries somewhere near the encampment of the two leggers. She didn't know if they were full or not, but they would be a great addition to the party she thought.

"Oh, sweety you don't need to do that," Apple said cheerfully as they trotted along. "My lifemate and I, we just love to feed everybody and I'm so grateful that you're here helping me, it's only right for me to do something sweet for you!" As they approached a large fallen tree that would serve as a massive table for all the soquili joining them. Besides, Apple Blossom and Johnny had discovered long ago that the hollows around the tree not only served as a nice home for familiars like Snow, but would also protect items like their bags from the weather and store their food. "Heeereee we go!" Apple chirped in a singsong voice. "Apples go in, and bags come out!" she pulled her own bag first, then Johnny's. He couldn't mind, she reasoned. "Here dear, this is Johnny's but I'm sure he'll be just fine with you using it!"

Candy like this place with the fallen tree. It seemed very peaceful around here. Just right for a family! She was also intrigued by the method of storage that these Soquili had for storing food! She wondered if she could find some place like this for herself one day. Though she would go for more of a cave than a fallen tree… Not for the first time in her small life did she wonder if she would find her place in this big world. She mentally sighed and smiled at Apple Blossom.
“This is a really neat place!” She looked down one of the hallows and wondered what was down there. She then spoke into it “HALLOW DOWN THERE!!!” and all she got was dust in her face. She sputtered, and coughed it out and then shook her head. She smiled and said, “Guess no one’s home!”
Candy put on Johnny’s bags and nearly lost them. She was smaller than most Usida, Spirits only knew why, but she tried to make up for it in spirit!
Candy, while trying to keep the bags on her, shook her head and said, “No! It’s fine, the two leggers can give me a basket and I can bring some berries for us all to enjoy.” She adjusted herself again with the bags, this time she thought she had it though! “Besides I want to do something for you letting me come in at the last minute, and it’s no trouble.”
Candy smiled and knew the bags wouldn't fall, and so followed Apple Blossom back to the apples.

"Aw," Apple said softly as they trotted along. "But you're doing such a sweet thing for me! Coming to the meal was supposed to thank you. I don't want you to feel like you have to bring anything. Although..." she pasued smiling thinking of some of her guests. "I might know quite a few soquili with a sweet tooth who would love berries." She glanced over at her companion to make sure she was keeping up without a problem. The little mare knew when she got excited her hooves could move almost as fast as her mouth.

Candy trotted along happily behind her new friend. She seemed like a Soquili after her own heart! Though the bags slipped some from time to time, but Candy corrected them swiftly! Hopefully the weight of the apples would help that problem when they pack them up!
"I'm glad that I could help with the food!" she smiled at her new friend, "Food and friends are two great things!"
"Perhaps," Candy thought as she picked her way after the mare, "I could have a party for all my Soquili friends one day?"
One thing she was sure of, this friend was just like Candy! She sure liked apples, and she loved to talk! Perhaps she would like to go exploring someday?

"That's true," Apple agreed cheerfully. "Friends, Family, and Food are all very important." Apple Blossom moved to help her companion when she saw the bag threatening to slip again, "Of course, parties are pretty fun too!"

"Ah, thanks with that!" Candy said shyly, "I'm a little small for my own good."
She nodded at the statement of friends and family, "They are some of the most important things, and having them all together at the same time is the best thing in the world!"
Though she wouldn't admit it, most of her friends were her family. She never knew of any blood kin. But she did count the two-leggers in that category since they did raise her, and care for her. They seemed to love the soquili they take care of as much as their own two-legged herd members.
As they reached the pile of apples, Candy didn't want to leave so soon, but she needed to get some of those berries before the small two-legged foals got to them!

As they returned Snow bounded up to them and saluted to Apple Blossom before indicating the pristine pile of apples that she had dutifully guarded. Not that it was much of a challenge, no one had come near the pile aside from a curious black rabbit, but she'd sent him on his way with and narrow glance and a swift kick.
"Aw, sweetie!" Apple Blossom crooned as she gave a quick appreciative smile to Snow before turning back to Candy. "And you are just fine the way you are," she said firmly. "And I am super grateful that you're helping us with these apples! My friends would be very sad if we didn't have apples, they kinda expect them." She beamed, proud that she could provide something that her friends/family enjoyed so much!
