I stole this layout from Kyrie but it's her fault I'm here so there.

THE HUMAN_____________________________________________

Name : Diantha Applby
Nickname : Dia, Dee, Day, Annie (rarely)
Gender : Female
Age : 22
Occupation : Assistant at her parent's shop, gardener

Hair Color/Style : Light brown, usually worn in a thick, messy braid
Eye Color : A very dark gray-green,
Body Build : Slight and skinny all the way around, with larger hands and lots of callouses from gardening tools and the like.
Fashion : She tends to wear loose, comfortable, and simple dresses, occasionally tied with a ribbon around the middle. There's no point in dressing all fancy-like if she's just going to get dirty after all. She likes wide-brimmed hats, especially with ribbons or flowers tucked in, to keep the sun from being too much while she's doing what she loves.
Extra : Her primarily elemental affinity is Earth, with a hint of unconscious Hedgecraft as her secondary. She is not, currently, well practiced in magic though she is aware that she has a knack for getting dirt off her hands after a good day of gardening. Even out from under the fingernails!

Status : Single
Family :
xxxx Alec Applby || Father
xxxxFlora Applby || Mother

Personality :

Dia always tries to find that ray of sunshine in the gloomiest of days, and when she can't find it, she pretends that she is the sunshine. She is warm and kind to everyone she meets with no demand for them to be kind back to her. But she has a hope that, someday, if she can spread enough kindness then others will also be inspired to be kind. With that goal in mind, she often finds herself to be taken advantage of and hurt, and while she looks naïve it is, in a way, a choice that she makes, just like she chooses to go home and cry and still let the people who hurt her into her heart where they can hurt her again because someone needs to let them so they know that someone loves them. She feels like she has more friends than she does, as she cannot truly tell any longer who is using her and who really cares for her too, but she carries on in the hope that even the ones who think they're taking advantage of her will someday love her back anyway.

Whenever it gets to be too much, Dia retreats back to her home with her loving parents and her precious garden. Kneeling in the dirt, nurturing the flowers and the vegetables and the fruits, watching the plants grow healthy and strong, it recharges her to try and do the same for people again. The world is a little like a garden with no weeds, only twisted sad flowers that need to be tended just as carefully as the pretty blooms everyone already likes. Her parents are, admittedly, a bit concerned for her, but they do try to support Dia. Their presence only reassures her that even the saddest day can be made better if someone cares, and the cycle continues when she feels brave enough to love the world again.

Likes : People, when she gets someone to smile, flowers, new experiences, her family, her Sweetie, the feeling of grass and dirt under her feet
Dislikes : When people are mean (she still likes the mean people though), spicy foods, having to kill weeds (she tried transplanting them but that didn't go well), wearing shoes

Name : Sweetie
Nickname : Sweetheart, Sweetiefox Sweetiemonster, etc
Gender : Male

Personality : Sweetie isn't exactly a sweetheart. He is curious and doesn't mind getting into trouble if it is worth it. A fox isn't exactly the most comparable for magic-enhancement for someone of Dia's affinities, but Sweetie decided he liked her and Dia lacked a solid education on how to properly magic (lacking a teacher for such a thing) so now he's around and he's hers and that is how it is, kay thanks. He may be a bit of a mischief-maker, and somewhat of a nuisance, and rather often off who-knows-where, but he is also loyal in his own way to his Dia and has a tendency to get irritable with anyone who hurts her feelings. He bites, so caution is advised.

Likes : Finding new things, sampling new things, getting his nose (and the rest of him) stuck in wherever possible (especially if forbidden), rolling in soft dirt piles and/or flowerbeds, scratches behind the ear, treats, Dia
Dislikes : The word 'no', closed doors, locks, people who think they can pet him when he isn't in the mood, people who don't pet him when he wants scratches, people who mess around with Dia's garden, people who mess around with Dia, being scolded for biting people who make Dia unhappy, baths.

Summoning :

There wasn't much intention of a summoning when Sweetie became a part of Dia. She'd been given a gift of seeds by a stranger and told that if she grew them just right something special might come of it. The girl added them to her garden happily, and tended to them just as she did each of her other plants. It took more than a year for them to grow, but she was loyal to the spot she'd placed them and every tiny bit the little green things grew made her all the more excited to see what they might become. But she never did find out what sort of plant it was.

One morning Dia found a fox rooting through her, now dying, plants. While she was crushed that she might now never see what the strange seeds might have become, she fed the hungry fox the breakfast bun off her plate. He gobbled the food and sniffed her over as though looking for more while she tried to fix the broken plants. When she turned around, he was at it again, in her tomatoes, and then in the rosebush. After Dia finally got the poor creature freed of the thorns, he stopped wrecking her garden and began to follow her around. He comes and goes as he pleases, and occasionally continues his vendetta against the evil thorny bush, but even now, years later, the fox still follows Dia around.
