Bardess Ookami Tropo found himself humming, then singing. "While strolling through the park one day. In the merry merry month of may,..." He frowned a bit. It wasn't May, was it? May it be May? May we stroll? he grinned to himself. Then stopped and blinked. This... wasn't a park. Was it? Did parks always have so many tall things? Trees? He looked up and frowned again. Well that was no good, he couldn't see the sky. He had to see the sky! had to! Certain that was important, he rushed headlong forward. Right into a tree. Ow. All these trees, there had to be a forest nearbye... he looked around, but all he saw were trees, no sign of a forest anywhere. That's right, he could not see the forest...for the trees...

Yakinori had grown bored with waiting for his brother to stop his pining and laziness, so he'd decided to go out by himself today. At best, he and Funa were destructive and inciting together. At the worst, they were a tornado or tidal wave. He jerked his head up, hearing a loud thump. Bounding for heedlessly, he saw a stunned looking soquili who seemed to have...just run into a tree?

Bardess Ookami He shook out his head, aware of the other horse. He almost saw stars. Stars! he wanted to see stars. He looked up, but all this green and brown stuff was in his way. He couldn't see the sky! His ears folded back against his head in distress. He walked forward, and his nose ground into the tree. He tried to push it out of the way.

Yakinori looked at the other stallion in confusion, was he...on something or something? Maybe he'd eaten some bad fish and was hallucinating? Or maybe he was crazy...This was going to be fun. "You there! You okay?" He called as he watched the other horse pushing at a tree to no avail.

Bardess Ookami He blinked and stumbled back, falling on his rump. Had the tree... just spoken?! He...he could speak to trees! No one he knew had ever spoken to a tree before! He was amazing! "hello, tree!" he said happily

"Not the tree, dude." The kelpi waved his brightly coloured tail. "It's me, I'm alive. Not the tree. You must have hit yourself very hard." This was much more amusing than it should have been.

Bardess Ookami He blinked, trying to follow that, then frowned. "The tree... is dead?" he asked in a hushed whisper. Then his eyes widded. "Did....Did I kill the tree?" he whimpered as he asked, horrified at himself. He... He killed the tree! He killed the tree! He was a murderer!!!

Yakinori gave up on trying to alert the male to his presence, instead...it was time for fun. "YES YOU KILLED ME! NOW YOU MUST PAY HOMAGE TO TREE GODS TO RESSURECT ME OR BE CURSED FOR ETERNITY!" He couldn't stop himself from almost giggling

Bardess Ookami "What?" He asked, horrified. "I killed you and the tree?" Because he had finally grasped that it was not the tree talking. He was slow not...no, wait, he was fairly stupid, wasn't he? "I killed you both? And now you're talking? Are you a tree too? A talking dead tree?" he stumbled to his hooves, shaking. "ZOMBIE TREES! RUN FOR YOU UNLIVES! ZOMBIE TREES!" he ran full speed... into that same tree, falling back, hard.

Yakinori fell over laughing, he couldn't even catch his breath. This was just too great. His sisters would have loved to see this, and his brother Funa. That's the only way it could have been better was for them all to see it too.
He laughed so hard that tears streamed down his face, and the dumb stallion ran into the tree AGAIN. He laughed even louder, until he couldn't take it any longer.
Stepping out into view, he tried to stop giggling. "Dude, I'm talking. Not the tree. The tree is not talking. I am. Got it?"
He was so not going to get it.

Tropo stared up at the other Soqili, wide eyed. He swallowed. "You're dead?" he whispered, shudders running through him. "I killed a tree spirit and now you're dead and you're going to haunt me forever!"
