Things at De'liath were honestly much more demanding than he had thought they would be. Who could have known that having actual... followers would be so complicated ?

Still, with Tajne and Keme gone to Eshurian, he had realized he had not seen the rest of his family for quite a long time. And rather than sit back and be bored out of his mind as he missed his lovers, why not go see them ?

He had found some comfort in... Well, it was silly, but Tajne had handed him a bunch of feathers before leaving. As if the cat had known he had planned to ask ! But then oh, of course he would. He had gotten the bundle fashioned into shoulder decorations of sorts.

And there was nothing wrong with that. To be honest, in between Tajne's feathers, Keme's headscarf, and one pair of heels that had been too big for her, he looked like he had rolled himself himself into their wardrobe until he decided he was good to go. And he had to admit - he looked fabulous. Damn fabulous.

There was certainly nothing wrong with that.

To the end he sought, Lament went for the closest door that would lead him to where he sought - which happened to be Cosine's - and knocked.

"I GOT IT ! I GOT IT !" And this time she wouldn't be beaten ! Caelia made a beeline for the door and nearly tumbled right into the wall when she took the turn in the hallway. "I GOOOOOOOT IT !"

And sure enough, she got the door. "Hi ! Y-" Uh ? Caelia blinked, looking up at the person who was standing here. He seemed familiar to her somehow, but.... who was this ?

She stared a bit, looking a bit confused indeed. He was... well, really pretty. Maybe some sort of prince ? But then he saw the barest glimpse of those eyes behind the veil and understood.

Kios... ?

She stared for a bit, her mouth a little open. But then she knew what she had to do. "MOOOOM ! KIOS TURNED INTO A REAL PRINCE !!!!!! COME LOOK !"

The way Caelia was starting at him... Did she not realize who he was. "Caelia, it's m-"

Too late. What ??? "Im not-"

Nope, there was no getting though the girl's excited screaming. He resisted the urge to sigh.

Caelia shouted, Scim barked and Isidore raced after the pair of them to the door, he skidded to a halt, almost into the back of his sister and looked up at the person who stood at the door. When Caelia declared it to be Kios his eyes widened and he stepped forwards, giving his cousin a slightly suspicious look.
"Kios ... reeeally?" It seemed everyone was changing lately.

Cosine had been picking up the never ending amount of junk that seemed to appear wherever her children went. Hearing Caelia's excited screams she walked through main atrium to the entrance hall.
"Caelia what did we say about remembering your quiet voice." she walked through the door, took in her nephew and blinked as she saw what Caelia was so excited about.
"Kios?" Her eyes went down to the heels he wore. Interesting, she thought, though who was she to comment on shoes, she never wore them.
"Come in, it's clearly been far too long."

Kyrie had been reading when the commotion kicked up. With her curiosity quickly piqued, she set the book off to the side and rose to wander out into the main hall. With her talons clicking lightly on the stone floor, she walked up behind her mother as she chastised her sister. Smirking slightly at that, she lifted her eyes from her sister to their guest. Seeing the person who Caelia had identified as their cousin, she blinked and straightened a little. It seemed that she was not the only one to undergo some changes. He looked so... different. He looked... shiny!

"Hello Kios!" she greeted him cheerfully with a wave.

Yes, that was one hell of a welcome indeed. Not exactly the kind of welcome he'd expected, but then again... Caelia.

"Last I checked, yes." Though he gave Kyrie a very similar look than the one the Crow was giving him, thinking much the same thing. He couldn't help but feel a little baffled, in spite of the irony. At least he apparently hadn't inherited the tendency of males of his family line to be stupidly tall. Even with the heels, he honestly would still be shorter than Ankou was.

His lips quirked in amusement. "That was the point of the visit, yes." He gave Cosine a playful bow and stepped inside.

A whut buh. What was with people and changing, lately ?! Caelia was clearly more than a little confounded. "But... !" In her mind, racing her brother to the door had been a plenty good reason to skip the quiet voice. But then again, the concept of a quiet voice was often a shaky one as far as Augury was concerned.

Cosine gestured for him to enter and follow them through to the main living space.

"Woow Kios." Isidore grinned, bouncing around next to him. "I like your feathers." He liked feathers, all his family had them, well, apart from him but he was okay with that, he quite liked being different from the others, as much as he liked looking like his dad.

Alva heard the commotion from her room and stepped outside to investigate. She had never been that bothered about children, they tended to get in the way but she liked the little gods, they were a lot of fun. She spotted the source of the commotion as soon as she entered the atrium, a rather feathery and purple god. one she did not recognise at first.

Akakios? It was Val that spoke, a broad smile spreading across her host's face. "Well this has to be a cause for celebration.

Kyrie joined the troupe that wandered further into their home and she watched her cousin closely. Everything he had on was just... fabulous. He looked so different and at the same time, very familiar. Now she was certain she knew what her siblings must have felt when they saw her looking so different all of a sudden. Continuing to admire his transformation and sense of style, she did not look away until she heard her Auntie Val appear. Looking towards her, she nodded in agreement. She could feel how strong he had become. He must be just like her mother and father, she decided.

"When did it happen?" she asked with eager anticipation.

He did gesture to his veil once he was inside, simply willing it to float away from his face and he did just that, the lace folding up neatly and ending up into his hand, where it could then be easily pocketed. His family certainly had the right to see him as he was, after all, and he knew that his gaze would not bother them as much as it would anyone who was not used to him.

"Thank you, I quite like them. They were a gift." They weren't, well, part of him. Cosine would probably realize exactly whose feathers these were - they were rather familiar shades of blues and purples, after all.

"A few days ago." He admitted. He still felt just a bit disoriented, but at least it didn't show. When Valyrmora showed up, he bowed playfully. "So it seems."

Caelia was doing much the same as her brother, and it was a wonder their cousin could even manage to walk in a relatively straight line in between the two very excited children who trailed him like shadows.

"They're toooo~oooootally the kitty's feathers. He gave me one too." She grinned. She liked the kitty's feathers, they were really really bright and pretty.

His words on the feathers made Cosine smirk a little.
"Seems I am not the only one with a penchant for feather collecting." She said in reply, gesturing to the varying feathered charms that hung from her hair, some crow, some Ankou's that had turned the streak of her hair white and some newer her daughters had made her with their smaller feathers.

Hah, the cat's! Isidore clambered up onto one of the comfortable chairs and patted the seat next to him.
"Come and sit next to me Kios." He grinned, looking up at his cousin. One day he wanted to be tall like him, he wasn't as tall as his dad but he was taller than his mum and maybe his auntie Echo.

Val watched the young ones with a smile. She loved their energy, the never-ending excitement at everything. Though as Kyrie had proved that would not last, so she would enjoy it whilst she could.
She grinned at her nephew's playful bow, it was good to see him in good spirits.
"Two of our clan grown, it is a proud week for me indeed. Had I my hall I would hold a feast in honour."

Kyrie smirked as Isi claimed place of honor by inviting Kios to sit beside him on one of the large chairs. Wandering to the seat she had been curled up in before his arrival, she shifted her book to a nearby table and sat down slowly. Her aunt's declaration caused her eyes to light up and she glanced over to her mother.

"We could still have a celebration," she hinted heavily with a gleam in her eyes. "What do you think Kios? It could be fun! It wouldn't have to be very big," she smiled and glanced between her mother and her aunt. Though it certainly would be awesome if it was very big.

"He gave them to me before I could even ask." Typical Tajne fashion, honestly. He had still be trying to work out an angle of attack that didn't seem, well... strange... before the cat simply did as he often did.

But then again, finding something that either Mysteries would truly find strange would be a challenge.

"Who say we cannot have one ? I agree with Kyrie, clearly we are the wise ones here." He winked at her. Some fun would definitively be apropos. He sat beside his cousin as requested, allowing Funeral to look him over as he wished.

As for Caelia, she sat in between her brother and her sister, as she often did. She liked having the two of them close to her. Though when their father was about, she tender to favor his lap more than anything else.

"What are your feasts like, Auntie Val ?" Now this was an interesting thing.

Isidore grinned as Kios did actually take the seat next to him, he swung his legs a little as Caelia sat between him and Kyrie and their aunt spoke of feasts. Now that really did sound good, at feasts they had lots and lots of food, he looked to the mortal woman who was also his aunt and waited for her to explain feasts.

"Well, a big party really. There would be lots of food, any food you can think of." Alva's eyes lit up as Val spoke through her. "And singing and dancing perhaps, depending on how much people had had to drink." She winked at her niece. "Well I suppose there is no reason why we shouldn't have a celebration. All we would need is a venue."

Cosine listened to them and smirked a little.
"We could hold one here, it is certainly big enough."

Kyrie puffed her feathers happily as her cousin quickly took up the campaign to have a party. They had never had one before, but she had read about them plenty of times in her stories. Turning her attention to her aunt at Caelia's question, she listened with eager anticipation, her dark arm gently slipping around her sister to hug her close.
"Oh! Dancing!" Kyrie breathed and her eyes grew bigger. She and her siblings would dance around for fun during their games, but to do it with some purpose behind it and amongst others... well, that was just exciting. As her aunt went on to also agree to the party, her eyes expectantly turned to her mother. After all, she really did have the final say still. The smirk was all she needed. Immediately her heart soared and she glanced over to her cousin as it was decided.
"We could invite everyone," she declared, though her definition of everyone was rather small in comparison to others. Not that she was particularly bothered by such details.

"I cannot say I am all that knowledgeable about dancing, though I figure I could attempt." Lament was clearly amused, though as always that amusement did not reach his eyes. It never did, really, though at the same time, Akakios was a lot more open than he had been the first time Valyrmora had stumbled upon him.

Caelia rolled her eyes when her cousin said what he did. Of could he wouldn't, Kios never did any fun things. "We can teach you." Augury said, quite seriously, as she obliged her sister and leaned against her side.

Cosine smiled at her nephew.
"Looks like we can't say no now." She said, equally amused. "Maybe you could make your father dance with you Caelia?" She suggested now that would be something she would pay to see.

"I like dancing, and music." Isidore said with a grin. He wasn't sure if he was actually good at dancing or not but he didn't really care, when the music got to you you just did what came naturally. "I've only reeeally danced at funerals though." He shrugged, a party was a party ... wasn't it?"

Val laughed.
"Well we could invite Kios and Kyrie's friends certainly, if it is their party." Though maybe the whole Pantheon could do with a party at some point. It always felt far too quiet.

Kyrie hugged her sister at her words of encouragement for their cousin. They certainly could teach him all about dancing. It would be a lot of fun to see their solemn cousin dance. Her mother's suggestion caused her to laugh. It would be one thing to see Kios dance, quite another to see their father dance. He was not overly serious most of the time, but they had never witnessed him do anything remotely close to dancing before.
"I hope that everyone will be able to come," she mused aloud. It seemed like everyone she knew were always popping off for some reason or another. It would be special if they could all gather together, if even just for a little while. "When should we have it?"
