Dhaifu had not a clue what he was doing as he stepped up to the large tower, his fur standing on edge. He knew this pride was home to many large lions, lions larger than he would ever be. But what he didn't know, was what he had been put up to.

'Just go up to the guard tower, and proclaim your challenge, they'll take care of the rest.'

She had assured him, with gentle whispers in his ears. Oh how he adored that lady, she was sweet and lovely in every way. And he wanted to stay here with her, but in order to do that, he had to come here and proclaim his challenge.

He didn't know what a challenge was, but he hoped it was something he was capable of! Gulping down his fear, and shaking from his toes, to the tips of his mane, Dhaifu finally mustered up his courage.

"M-My name is Dhaifu'nafsi ... and I a-am h-h-here to proclaim my c-challenge!"

WAIT!?

THIS WAS A FIGHT!?

AS IN PHYSICAL FIGHT TIL THE LOSER FALLS?!

Dhaifu nearly fainted on the spot, an instant disqualification! But he knew if he wanted to stay with his lovely lady he would have to stay the course of the battle and somehow win it?!

Oh boy, this was not going to be easy!

Dhaifu was frozen in fear as the hulking Bousvor stood across the field, his mass far outweighing the weak Dhaifu's. What was he going to do?

That's when it hit him! Everyone had a weakness, he simply had to find out where Bousvor's was. But, simply staring at him wasn't going to reveal a weak spot! He would have to attack, and study his movements, his patterns!

Wincing his eyes shut as tightly as possible, Dhaifu lunged forwarf towards the male, his claws yet to unsheathe. What was his plan? What was he going to do?

He was getting closer!

Closer!

CLOSER!

BAM!

Dhaifu ran smack into the male's chest, and yowled in portest, unsheathing his claws and aiming directly for the male's right heel.

Well, that obviously hadn't been his most effective strategy. But what else was he supposed to do in this type of scenario?! He'd never been in a fight in his life, much less one that held his future in the balance! Dhaifu gulped down his fears as he tried to pull himself together, and lost his concentration on the fight. It only returned when the male felt the large teeth closing in on his neck. It was painful, but he knew it wouldn't cause him deadly injury.

A yowl of pain escaped his throat as he brought a paw up from the ground below him and aimed blindly for the male's face. Not particularly trying to blind him, only to get him free of his neck. Potentially knock him off his guard for a few moments. That would give him hopefully, enough time to think of a plan.
