Taking a break from some battles against the Kiandri dragons of Eowyn the Gaili Dovaa was on his way across Serenia again. He'd had fun with his hunting but it was time for him to go and find his friends, see what they were up to, and see if they might want to go out and do something. He felt that hunting was far more fun when Madryn Col was there with him. As such he wanted to go and fetch him, lure him off on another adventure even if he always seemed to complain about them and about Karayan always getting them in trouble. Despite him always seeming grumpy he must be having some form of fun, right? Otherwise why would he keep coming along?

Giving a grin he headed along on his way, determine to get there sooner then later... at least that was his plan until he spotted someone new and different. It was another Orderite from the looks of her, and man did she have a kind of intimidating look to her. Intimidating but really cool! Man just check out those scars! She must be some sort of bad a** for sure! Unable to help himself he drifted closer to her, eyes wide and filled with awe, wondering who she was. She must be someone amazing, of that he was certain!

Karayan's heart all but skipped a beat with pure excitement when the dark haired woman actually called out to him. It was something that instantly put a big, dumb grin on his face before he gave her a happy wave and said, "Hello there!" His tone was a rather cheerful and friendly one, one that he used with basically everyone he'd met thus far. There was nobody taht Karayan didn't like at this point though that could likely be chalked up too him being a rather naive sort of person. He'd yet to run into anyone that posed a threat to him after all so why not be friendly? This woman was a clear example of that, despite her looking a bit scary at first glance, and despite her grabbing her weapon a first, she'd greeted him instead of bashing him in the head with her weapon.

"Man, you look really awesome, do you know that?" He chirped happily, his mouth ever getting the best of him. From her perch on his head the little fae dragon Ember gave a sound like a laugh, rolling her eyes a bit, finding her boy to be more then a little dense at time. Ah well, since it didn't seem like a battle was brewing as of yet the lazy, spoiled little dragon didn't move from her favored perch between his antlers.

The Dovaa gave Ember a slight glance before shrugged her laughter off and went back to starring at the pretty Orderite woman before him, "That is a wicked looking weapon, I bet you can send a dragon flying with it, huh?" Kinda like what Kavanna had done with that fish when she hit it with her vines. So cool!

Karayan seemed to consider that for a moment before he gave a laugh, "I suppose it would suck to have to chase after a dragon orb after you sent it flying." He was glad that his way of battling never really caused him to have to go chasing orbs, especially in Eowyn, he'd probably never find them. Lifting up a fist in an excited manner he said, "I tend to tangle things up first then pound into them with my epic sand gauntlets!" He sounded quite pleased with this particular technique though as he looked around he realized that such a thing probably wouldn't work here, would it? No sand.

"Huh, I suppose the lack of sand here makes my gauntlets impossible to create. Maybe I should carry some sand around with me to make them? Yeah! That sounds like a great idea, doesn't it, Ember?" He chattered on happily. The fae dragon gave a little, noncomittal chirp in response. She didn't care for sand, it was hot and it wasn't nearly as pretty as the orbs that Karayan gathered so she couldn't care less one way of the other.

When the powerful looking woman introduced herself his golden went wide, "Woah! Really? That's awesome! I have an Orderite friend named Madryn! Are you guys related? Or do you just happen to have rhyming names?" He wouldn't be surprised if Madryn had another sister that he didn't introduce Karayan to since he seemed to have zero desire to introduce him to Sueno either.

"Yep! I wrap the sand around my fists and BAM instant weapon! It works well, especially given that I haven't really gone out shopping for a weapon yet. Seeing that I can just make my own though I don't really see the point in buying one at the moment." That would involve a lot of extra pocket money and he tended to spend all of his traveling to and from Serenia, Eowyn, and home. Still, he would probably do that eventually, maybe get himself a set of real gauntlets. A though that fluttered completely out of his head when she mentioned rock gauntlets. It made him flicker his eyes from side to side, "Rock gauntlets! Yes! Oh man, that would be soooo cool! You're amazing, Kadryn!" He praised her as he searched around, then trotted forward to where he saw some rocks laying about.

He set to work working his magic on them and, as with the sand, manipulated them into teh right shape around his first. He lifted his hands, waving them in the air for a moment, then said, "A little heavier then I am used to but I bet wielding these bad boys will be quite the work out." He gave a little flex of his muscles as though testing the theory before glancing over at her, "I think that these will work great! Man, it just makes me want to go punch something with them!" Maybe there was a dragon around? Though the Serenia dragons were a bit weak so maybe he should go somewhere else to punch dragons with rocks? Chalk that down as one of his weirder thoughts ever.

"Good taste in names?" He murmured, then laughed, seeming to be amused by the joke that she'd made as though it were the best one ever, "That must be it!" It would explain why two Orderite ended up with such similar names for sure.

"Spar and try out the rock gauntlets?" He mused, looking down at them for a moment, waved them for a moment more, then gave a bit of a grin, "Well, I've never fought anything that wasn't a dragon before but I see no reason not to at least give it a go!" He somehow guessed that given the air about her that she was a powerful warrior, far more intimidating then any dragon he'd fought, but she said herself that she didn't want to kill or maim him so what was the harm in a little sparring? It would get him a feel for these new, heavier gauntlets after all! Alright! It was settled then, a sparring match with Kadryn first, then he'd go and find Madryn, after that he'd drag his friend off for more adventures in dragon hunting!

With that plan in mind he lifted his first up into a ready position, shifted on his bare feet, then went charging forward into battle against the dark haired Orderite. This should be interesting if nothing else he thought to himself as he took a swing at her. He held back a little bit, feeling a little guilty about swinging at a girl with rocks on his hands, but it was only a little hesitation. Something that he supposed that he was going to have to get over eventually if he was going to actually fight against more dangerous opponents in the future. He'd been luck thus far in that those he'd run into of the other races seemed amiable. It was only a matter of time before he ran into someone that wasn't nearly so friendly toward the boisterous Karayan after all.

Karayan couldn't help but to laugh a bit as he found himself on his back in a split second, something that caused him to only end up all that much more impressed by Kadryn. Sitting up some he gave a bit of a laugh, "Wow! That was pretty amazing!" He praised her, pushing himself up to his feet, and set to brushing himself off. Once he had removed what dirt he could he looked over at the woman, "Too many openings, huh?" The dragons never seemed to noticed them, but they seemed to be more aggressive then this woman was and seemed to be all for rushing forward toward a frontal assault in the same manner that Karayan did. The little tussle with her proved that not everyone fought that way, huh? Her moves and the way that she grounded him pretty quickly proved that.

Giving a thoughtful sound he then asked, "So, what do you suggest?" Best that he got some tips from this woman since she seemed to know a lot more about battle then he did, she was probably older and more experienced after all. He would see what he could learn from her, see what he could then use against the dragons that he oft battled against, it would be great! Add some moves to his repitour, and become that much better of a dragon slayer!

Karayan looked down at his feet a moment, then gave a nod of his head. Footwork, huh? That wasn't really something that he'd ever even thought about since that involved... well, a lot more thinking ahead then he gave most anything. His golden eyes lifted once more to Kadryn, listening to what she was saying closely. Think of ways to block low attacks, "Hmm, I think I can do that." It would take a bit of planning but he felt he could do it! He would just have to practice was all!

"I will have to try some of this out soon, maybe I will track down some dragons!" He said, giving a wide grin of excitement over the thought before he turned to look over at her, "My magic? Oh, yeah! Man, I used a sand shield against a Firani once, blocked it's fiery breath, and guess what happened? Guess! The sand turned to glass! It was soooo cool!" He said, clapping his hands together in delight. It had been by far one of the coolest things that he could remember seeing for some time. A shame that the glass sculpture was probably long buried in the sand again. Unless he could recreate the even all he had going for him was his recollection of the story and he knew there were some who probably wouldn't believe him.

Crossing his arms over his chest he said, "Are there any of those water dragons off the coast of Serenia? I was thinking of trying to fish some of them up! Thought it could be fun!" Given that as far as he knew Serenia itself only had two types of dragons, the weak Ysali and the overpowering Aeduan, he had to hope that there were Peisio around. That or he was back to Eowyn once more if he couldn't find Madryn Col today.
