Heart beating fast as she ran, she came across a fallen sapling tree that blocked her path. It laid there angled between a builder and another tree. The space available was enough for foals to crawl under and through it, and impossible for adults to jump over it. "Oh.. No, no, no.. This can't be happening now," she called out in distress. Luckily if she pushed hard enough, it will come loose and fall completely over onto the ground. Whispers paced back and forth as she watched Jasmine crawl under with ease. The foxbun turned around to face the meti and whimpered at her to follow along. "Oh my dear Endless.." she whispered, and began to push the tree with all her might, straining to push the obstacle out of her way. It took a while for her to get rid of it as the tree groaned and creaked in protest, and eventually lost the chance to stay wedged, falling to the ground with a heavy impact.
Whispers broke off into a run again after stepping past the narrow pathway. Deep in her heart she knew that he'd be there waiting for her again. He
always waited for her. The stars in the sky sparkled and aligned in a straight line as if showing her the way.
Soon enough, she spotted a beautiful songbird twittering in the air beside the hollow she knew so well. It was the one she gave to her lover as a gift once upon a time. She called out to the bird and watched it happily greet her before resting on her shoulder. "Oh Fly, good to see you, is he here?"
Without a doubt, shortly after meeting the special songbird, was a figure that rose up on all four and walked out from within the sheltered grove into the open. There he was, standing in front of her, breathing out of pace. She wished the swamp could be more kind to him but at least it didn't take away his life.
"Darling," she whispered out loud as he nuzzled her. The longing in her heart temporarily got replaced and filled with love. "I would always come, no matter how difficult the situation." Whispers clung close to him and listened to his beating heart as she stuck her face against his neck for two long breaths before pulling herself away from him.
"Come, it"s about to start," she whispered again, and comfortably waltzed over to the hollow with the kio and foxbun following closely by her side. She carefully laid down first and motioned for endless Climb to follow suit, expecting him to huddle closely against her side.
