Captain Richterite was practicing his balancing act in Destiny City park. It was a place that he was familiar with and, in the hours after twilight, it was a good place for thinking as well as finding the occasional conversation or scuffle.

Arms extended out on either side of his body he walked across the bars of the jungle gym, taking advantage of the view out over his surroundings as well as the chance to show off... Never mind that it was just himself that he was showing off to.

The sound of a voice invading his quiet caught him by surprise, but didn't make his balance falter. He followed the direction of the sound with his eyes , glancing down only to see... A cat? Curious.

It wasn't as though he didn't know what a Guardian Cat was or how to recognize one, but more that he had never before crossed paths with one that he could clearly recall. That one stood at the foot of the jungle gym right now was the most likely answer to a talking cat, the other being that he'd simply lost what was left of his mind.

With a fluid movement he jumped down, landing smoothly on the bits of shredded material that blanketed the ground beneath the play equipment. "Is this better?"

"Now there's something you don't see every day." He mused softly as he stepped back to watch the transformation. "Aren't you an interesting creature, hmm?" His brow lofted as he adapted the same pose that she did. "I've been told that cats aren't the sort to draw attention to themselves... but you want an interview? I suppose I can accommodate that, kitten if you're willing to humor me in return. Captain Richterite. And who might you be?"

"No, clearly not." He smirked softly as he took her hand in his own, bringing it up to brush a chaste kiss to her knuckles before releasing it so that he could summon his weapon to his hand in the same gesture, giving the feline a quick glimpse of his throwing cards before banishing them back into his sub space.

"Who sent you on such a risky mission, Madame Zirconia?"

"I could be... Or I suppose I should be, rather. But not tonight, I don't think. It would be a shame to waste a learning experience for violence, wouldn't it?" She had asked two questions in that one do he decided to take a chance of his own in tacking on another.

"Not white moon or negaverse, but not mirror bound either? I don't recall having hard of the Black Moon before." He wondered briefly if the reason why she was making it get mission to catalogue was so she could find those responsible for killing her senshi.

"Why don't you tell me how you really feel about them?" He held his hands up open in front of him as a sign that he'd meant no harm in his statement despite the offense taken from it.

"You seem to know more about them than I do too. I'm afraid I was away for a while and when I came back we were making nice with them. Not by my choice, mind you."

"At the risk of raising your ire, and I do apologize for doing so, is that the truth? I know truth is subjective, but are they really parasites and not newly reformed? Or is that just how you refer to them in your disgust of their actions?" His tone of voice was Kelly soft and even, making it clear (he hoped) that he was asking for the sake of asking and not to push her back into fury.

"Everyone has their own way of telling things these days... sometimes you just have to ask when you don't know."

"I am sorry for your loss, Zirconia. It must be more difficlt than I can imagine to be so alone." That deep, gnawing sense of loneliness had been the reason he had taken the invitation into the Negaverse... But his foolish teenage emotions from those years ago were nothing when compared to the thought of losing those he had chime to know and feel protective over now.

"I count myself lucky that you have shared this information with me, either way."
